Jeremiah 2
1 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,
2 'Go, and thou hast called in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus said Jehovah: I have remembered for thee The kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, Thy going after Me in a wilderness, in a land not sown.
೨“ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾರು, ‘ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ನೀನು ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ವಿವಾಹಕಾಲದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇಮವನ್ನೂ, ನೀನು ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡದ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾತಿವ್ರತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
3 Holy [is] Israel to Jehovah, The first-fruit of His increase, All consuming him are guilty, Evil cometh in unto them, an affirmation of Jehovah.
೩ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಥಮಫಲವಾಗಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದೋಷಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವರು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿ.’”
4 Hear a word of Jehovah, O house of Jacob, And all ye families of the house of Israel.
೪ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮನೆತನವೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದ ಸಕಲ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ;
5 Thus said Jehovah: What — have your fathers found in Me perversity, That they have gone far off from Me, And go after the vanity, and become vain,
೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ವ್ಯರ್ಥಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ತಾವೇ ಅಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೂರವಾದರು?
6 And have not said, Where [is] Jehovah, Who bringeth us up out of the land of Egypt, Who leadeth us in a wilderness, In a land of deserts and pits, In a dry land, and of death-shade, In a land — none hath passed through it, Nor dwelt hath man there?'
೬‘ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಕಾಡಾಗಿಯೂ, ಹಳ್ಳಕೊಳ್ಳವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಿರ್ಜಲವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಘೋರಾಂಧಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಯಾರೂ ಹಾದುಹೋಗದೆಯೂ, ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಿಸದೆಯೂ ಇರುವ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲ.
7 Yea, I bring you in to a land of fruitful fields, To eat its fruit and its goodness, And ye come in and defile My land, And Mine inheritance have made an abomination.
೭ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದು, ಅದರ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಆ ನನ್ನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡಿಸಿದಿರಿ.
8 The priests have not said, 'Where [is] Jehovah?' And those handling the law have not known Me. And the shepherds transgressed against Me, And the prophets have prophesied by Baal, And after those who profit not have gone.
೮ಯಾಜಕರು, ‘ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?’ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಪಾಲಕರು ನನಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿದರು, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಬಾಳ್ ದೇವತೆಯ ಆವೇಶದಿಂದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು.
9 Therefore, yet I plead with you, An affirmation of Jehovah, And with your sons' sons I plead.
೯ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತಾನದವರೊಂದಿಗೂ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
10 For, pass to the isles of Chittim, and see, And to Kedar send, and consider well, And see if there hath been like this:
೧೦“ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಕೇದಾರಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ವಿಚಾರಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಯಾದರೂ ನಡೆಯಿತೇ ಎಂದು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿರಿ.
11 Hath a nation changed gods? (And they [are] no gods!) And My people hath changed its honour For that which doth not profit.
೧೧ತನ್ನ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ದೇವರಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗವಾದರೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತೋ? ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾದ ನನ್ನ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
12 Be astonished, ye heavens, at this, Yea, be frightened, be greatly wasted, An affirmation of Jehovah.
೧೨ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವೇ, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬೆರಗಾಗು, ತತ್ತರಿಸು, ಹಾಳಾಗು” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
13 For two evils hath My people done, Me they have forsaken, a fountain of living waters, To hew out for themselves wells — broken wells, That contain not the waters.
೧೩“ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಎರಡು ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಜೀವಜಲದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಾದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಬಿರುಕು ಬಿಟ್ಟ, ನೀರು ನಿಲ್ಲದ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊರೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
14 A servant [is] Israel? Is he a child of the house? Wherefore hath he been for a prey?
೧೪ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಒಬ್ಬ ದಾಸನೋ? ಮನೆಯ ಗುಲಾಮನಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನೋ?
15 Against him roar do young lions, They have given forth their voice, And make his land become a desolation, His cities have been burnt without inhabitant.
೧೫ಏಕೆ ಸೂರೆಯಾದನು? ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹಗಳು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಗರ್ಜಿಸಿ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ, ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿವೆ, ಅವನ ಊರುಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟು ನಿರ್ಜನವಾಗಿವೆ.
16 Also sons of Noph and Tahapanes Consume thee — the crown of the head!
೧೬ನೋಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ತಹಪನೇಸ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳವರು ನಿನ್ನ ನೆತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನುಣ್ಣಗೆ ಮೇದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
17 Dost thou not do this to thyself? [By] thy forsaking Jehovah thy God, At the time He is leading thee in the way?
೧೭ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.
18 And now, what — to thee in the way of Egypt, To drink the waters of Sihor? And what — to thee in the way of Asshur, To drink the waters of the River?
೧೮ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದದ್ದೇಕೆ? ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇತ್ತೆ? ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಟ್ಟದ್ದೇಕೆ? ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿಯ ಜಲವನ್ನು ಪಾನಮಾಡುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇತ್ತೇ?
19 Instruct thee doth thy wickedness, And thy backslidings reprove thee, Know and see that an evil and a bitter thing [Is] thy forsaking Jehovah thy God, And My fear not being on thee, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah of Hosts.
೧೯ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು, ನಿನ್ನ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುವವು; ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಹಿ ಅನುಭವವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆಂದು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೋ, ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ನೋಡು” ಎಂಬುದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನ ನುಡಿ.
20 For from of old thou hast broken thy yoke, Drawn away thy bands, and sayest, 'I do not serve,' For, on every high height, and under every green tree, Thou art wandering — a harlot.
೨೦ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು, ಕಣ್ಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು “ನಾನು ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿ, ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೂ, ಸೊಂಪಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೂ ನೀನು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಜಾರಳಂತೆ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ.
21 And I planted thee a choice vine, wholly a true seed, And how hast thou been turned to Me, To the degenerate shoots of a strange vine?
೨೧“ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಬೀಜದಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೆಟ್ಟಿರಲು ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕಾಡುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಕೆಟ್ಟರೆಂಬೆಗಳಂತೆ ಆಗಲು ಕಾರಣವೇನು?
22 But though thou dost wash with nitre, And dost multiply to thyself soap, Marked is thine iniquity before Me, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
೨೨ನೀನು ಬಹಳ ಸೌಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಬೂನಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡರೂ ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗದೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧರ್ಮವು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗೆ ಕೊಳಕಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
23 How sayest thou, 'I have not been defiled, After the Baalim I have not gone?' See thy way in a valley, know what thou hast done, A swift dromedary winding her ways,
೨೩“ನಾನು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಬಾಳ್ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿ? ಆ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿನ ನಿನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡು, ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ದುಷ್ಟ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೋ. ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ನೆಗೆದಾಡುವ ಬೆದೆಗೆ ಬಂದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಒಂಟೆಯಂತಿರುವೆ.
24 A wild ass accustomed to a wilderness, In the desire of her soul she hath swallowed up wind, Her meeting — who doth turn her back? None seeking her do weary themselves, In her month they find her.
೨೪ನೀನು ಮದದಿಂದ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬುಸುಬುಸನೆ ಮೂಸಿ ನೋಡುವ ಅಡವಿಯ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಿ; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆದೆ ಏರಿದಾಗ ಯಾವ ಗಂಡು ಕತ್ತೆಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಬದಿಗೆ ನೂಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಯಾ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಯಾಸಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಅದನ್ನು ದೊರಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು.
25 Withhold thy foot from being unshod, And thy throat from thirst, And thou sayest, 'It is incurable, No, for I have loved strangers, and after them I go.'
೨೫“ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲು ಸವೆಯದಂತೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಟಲು ಆರದಂತೆಯೂ ತಡೆದುಕೋ” ಎಂದೆನು, ಆದರೆ ನೀನು, “ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಲ್ಲ, ಆಗಲಾರದು, ಅನ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೋಹಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಹೋಗುವೆನು” ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ.
26 As the shame of a thief when he is found, So put to shame have been the house of Israel, They, their kings, their heads, And their priests, and their prophets,
೨೬ಕಳ್ಳನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವನೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶವು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವುದು. ಅವರು ಮರಕ್ಕೆ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ” ಎಂತಲೂ; ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಹೆತ್ತ ತಾಯಿ” ಎಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು. ಅವರ ಅರಸರು, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು, ಯಾಜಕರು, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವರು.
27 Saying to wood, 'My father [art] thou!' And to a stone, 'Thou hast brought me forth,' For they turned unto me the back and not the face, And in the time of their vexation, They say, 'Arise Thou, and save us.'
೨೭ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖತಿರುಗಿಸದೆ ಬೆನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದಾಗ, “ಎದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವರು.
28 And where [are] thy gods, that thou hast made to thyself? Let them arise, if they may save thee, In the time of thy vexation, For — the number of thy cities have been thy gods, O Judah,
೨೮ಯೆಹೂದವೇ, ನೀನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ನಿನಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸಲು ಶಕ್ತವಾದರೆ ಏಳಲಿ! ನಿನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಷ್ಟೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳೂ ಅಷ್ಟು ಇವೆ.
29 Why do ye strive with Me? All of you have transgressed against Me, An affirmation of Jehovah.
೨೯ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಏಕೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳು.
30 In vain I have smitten your sons, Instruction they have not accepted, Devoured hath your sword your prophets, As a destroying lion.
೩೦ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಂಶದವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದದ್ದು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ, ನೀವು ತಿದ್ದಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಹರಿಸುವ ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯ ಕತ್ತಿಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ.”
31 O generation, see ye the word of Jehovah: A wilderness have I been to Israel? A land of thick darkness? Wherefore have My people said, 'We mourned, We come not in again unto Thee.'
೩೧ನೀವು ಎಂತಹ ದುಷ್ಟ ವಂಶದವರು! ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, “ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಗಾಢಾಂಧಕಾರದ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾಗಿಯೂ ಏಕೆ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿದವು? ‘ನಾವು ಮನಬಂದಂತೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹತೋಟಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಬಾರೆವು’” ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಏಕೆ?
32 Doth a virgin forget her ornaments? A bride her bands? And My people have forgotten Me days without number.
೩೨ಯುವತಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು, ವಧುವು ತನ್ನ ಒಡ್ಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯುವುದುಂಟೇ? ನನ್ನ ಜನರೋ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
33 What — dost thou make pleasing thy ways to seek love? Therefore even the wicked thou hast taught thy ways.
೩೩ಕಾಮವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದ್ದಿ! ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ದುರಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ.
34 Also in thy skirts hath been found the blood of innocent needy souls, Not by digging have I found them, but upon all these.
೩೪ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳಾದ ದರಿದ್ರರ ಪ್ರಾಣರಕ್ತವು ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ; ಇವರು ಕನ್ನ ಕೊರೆಯುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು ಎಂದು ನೀವು ನೆವ ಹೇಳುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿನ್ನ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದುರಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
35 And thou sayest, 'Because I have been innocent, Surely turned back hath His anger from me?' Lo, I have been judged with thee, Because of thy saying, 'I have not sinned.'
೩೫ನೀನಾದರೋ, “ನಾನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿ, ಆತನ ಕೋಪವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತೊಲಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ; “ನಾನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕಾರಣ, ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.
36 What? thou art very vile to repeat thy way, Even of Egypt thou art ashamed, As thou hast been ashamed of Asshur,
೩೬ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಏಕೆ ಅಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೀ? ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಡುವಿ.
37 Also from this thou goest out, And thy hands on thy head, For Jehovah hath kicked at thy confidences, And thou dost not give prosperity to them!
೩೭ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೂ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಡುವಿ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಭರವಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವುಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಕೈಗೂಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
