< James 3 >
1 Many teachers become not, my brethren, having known that greater judgment we shall receive,
Aluna ane, singa inonee mihi kutula miamanyisi, mulinge kina mizize singelya kinyamilimo kikulu kukila.
2 for we all make many stumbles; if any one in word doth not stumble, this one [is] a perfect man, able to bridle also the whole body;
Kunsoko kehi kitumila kunzila yeetu. Ange wehi shanga wikumpya munkani yakwe, nuanso muntu nakondile. uhumile kulaagila kumwili wakwe wihi.
3 lo, the bits we put into the mouths of the horses for their obeying us, and their whole body we turn about;
Itegwa kang'wi kuuika ilijamu afarasi mumilomo ao akugombile, hangi kuhueli kuupiula imilomo ehi.
4 lo, also the ships, being so great, and by fierce winds being driven, are led about by a very small helm, whithersoever the impulse of the helmsman doth counsel,
Hangi mulinge kina iimeli, ingawa nkulu kusukung'wa nung'we ga nuukulu, hangi kuhumile kupeula imiile ao ihi.
5 so also the tongue is a little member, and doth boast greatly; lo, a little fire how much wood it doth kindle!
Kuu uu anga kelume, kintu kiniino mumwili, wisumbula pakulu du. Sigozi kote kehaka nikikulu kihumile kusonswa ninzae nino niyamoto!
6 and the tongue [is] a fire, the world of the unrighteousness, so the tongue is set in our members, which is spotting our whole body, and is setting on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by the gehenna. (Geenna )
Ululime nulwensogaa moto, ukumbigulu wa ulugu, uikilwe mumo muingo ya miile itu, inge wikanza umwiili wihi hangi wiikwa migulya mumoto munzila yalikalo, nuwenso wikansoswa numoto nuwakuulungu. (Geenna )
7 For every nature, both of beasts and of fowls, both of creeping things and things of the sea, is subdued, and hath been subdued, by the human nature,
Kila ikikali kamihaka, nyunyi, niikugenda pehi nekekali kamuluze iza ikaiwe ni antu.
8 and the tongue no one of men is able to subdue, [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison,
Inge kutile umuntu anga nung'wi, nuhumile kululagila ululime, ingi ubi nisinga wikilaga, nuwizoe kizume nuubulagi.
9 with it we do bless the God and Father, and with it we do curse the men made according to the similitude of God;
Kululimi kimukulya umukulu nu Tata witu, hangi kululeme lulo keazuma iantu niaumbilwe, kupyani ang'wi Tunda.
10 out of the same mouth doth come forth blessing and cursing; it doth not need, my brethren, these things so to happen;
Kumulomo wuwo wuwo witambula nkani yakukembetwa nukuzung'wa. Aluna ane emakani aya singangaanonee.
11 doth the fountain out of the same opening pour forth the sweet and the bitter?
Ikolyo, uluzi lung'wi lahuma kupumyane imaze nimaza nayanimaluluu?
12 is a fig-tree able, my brethren, olives to make? or a vine figs? so no fountain salt and sweet water [is able] to make.
Aluna ane ikolyo ikota la mutini lahumane kutuga inkali yamuzeituni, ang'wi umuzabibu ukutugane inkali niamutini? Anga injilyo namazi nimalulu shikipumya imazi nisinga malulu.
13 Who [is] wise and intelligent among you? let him shew out of the good behaviour his works in meekness of wisdom,
Nyenyu mung'wanyu nukete uupolo nuumanyi? Ebu umuntu uyu walagiile ulikalo nuluza mumilimo akwe nuupolonuupumie mumahala.
14 and if bitter zeal ye have, and rivalry in your heart, glory not, nor lie against the truth;
Angize mukete wilu nuutaki mumasigo yawinyene munkola yanyu, muleke kuhumbula kuligitya uuteele nukuligitya itai.
15 this wisdom is not descending from above, but earthly, physical, demon-like,
Uwu singa upolo nuupumile kigulya, inge upumile muunkumbigulu, singa akinkolo, akiheng'wi.
16 for where zeal and rivalry [are], there is insurrection and every evil matter;
Kunsoko paukole uwetu niwitengi ukole, ukole wibulugi ni ntendo nimbe.
17 and the wisdom from above, first, indeed, is pure, then peaceable, gentle, easily entreated, full of kindness and good fruits, uncontentious, and unhypocritical: —
Upolo nuupimie kigulya, kwanza uza, hangi wilowa upolo, uupoelu nimahala, nizue ukende nuuhuili nuuza singawi kuila anga antu antu ni tai.
18 and the fruit of the righteousness in peace is sown to those making peace.
Ni nkali yatai yetemelwa muupolo kuawa niituma inkani ya upolo.
