Isaiah 63
1 'Who [is] this coming from Edom? With dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is honourable in his clothing, Travelling in the abundance of his power?' — 'I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.'
௧ஏதோமிலும் அதிலுள்ள போஸ்றா பட்டணத்திலுமிருந்து, சாயந்தீர்ந்த ஆடைகளுடையவராகவும், மகத்துவமாக அணிந்திருக்கிறவராகவும், தமது மகத்தான வல்லமையிலே எழுந்தருளினவராகவும் வருகிற இவர் யார்? நீதியாகப் பேசி காப்பாற்ற வல்லவராகிய நான்தானே.
2 'Wherefore [is] thy clothing red? And thy garments as treading in a wine fat?'
௨உம்முடைய ஆடைகள் சிவப்பாகவும், ஆலையை மிதிக்கிறவனுடைய ஆடைகளைப்போலவும் இருக்கிறதென்ன?
3 — 'A wine-press I have trodden by myself, And of the peoples there is no one with me, And I tread them in mine anger, And I trample them in my fury, Sprinkled is their strength on my garments, And all my clothing I have polluted.
௩நான் தனி ஒருவனாக ஆலையை மிதித்தேன்; மக்களில் ஒருவனும் என்னோடிருந்ததில்லை; நான் என் கோபத்திலே அவர்களை மிதித்து, என் கடுங்கோபத்திலே அவர்களை நசுக்கிப்போட்டேன்; அதினால் அவர்கள் இரத்தம் என் ஆடைகளின்மேல் தெறித்தது, என் ஆடைகளையெல்லாம் கறைப்படுத்திக்கொண்டேன்.
4 For the day of vengeance [is] in my heart, And the year of my redeemed hath come.
௪நீதியைநிலைப்படுத்தும் நாள் என் மனதிலிருந்தது; என்னுடையவர்களை விடுவிக்கும் வருடம் வந்தது.
5 And I look attentively, and there is none helping, And I am astonished that there is none supporting, And give salvation to me doth mine own arm. And my wrath — it hath supported me.
௫நான் பார்த்தேன், துணை செய்வார் ஒருவருமில்லை; தாங்குவார் ஒருவருமில்லை என்று ஆச்சரியப்பட்டேன்; அப்பொழுது என் புயமே எனக்கு பாதுகாப்பாகி, என் கடுங்கோபமே என்னைத் தாங்கியது.
6 And I tread down peoples in mine anger, And I make them drunk in my fury, And I bring down to earth their strength.
௬நான் என் கோபத்திலே மக்களை மிதித்து, என் கடுங்கோபத்திலே அவர்களை வெறியாக்கி, அவர்கள் சாரத்தைத் தரையிலே இறங்கச்செய்தேன்.
7 The kind acts of Jehovah I make mention of, The praises of Jehovah, According to all that Jehovah hath done for us, And the abundance of the goodness to the house of Israel, That He hath done for them, According to His mercies, And according to the abundance of His kind acts.
௭யெகோவா எங்களுக்குச் செய்தருளின எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் ஏற்றதாகவும், அவர் தம்முடைய இரக்கங்களின்படியும் தம்முடைய திரளான தயவுகளின்படியும், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்திற்குச் செய்த மகா நன்மைக்கு ஏற்றதாகவும், யெகோவாவுடைய செயல்களையும், யெகோவாவுடைய துதிகளையும் பிரபலப்படுத்துவேன்.
8 And He saith, Only My people they [are], Sons — they lie not, and He is to them for a saviour.
௮அவர்கள் என் மக்கள்தானென்றும், அவர்கள் வஞ்சனை செய்யாதிருக்கும் பிள்ளைகளென்றும் சொல்லி, அவர்களுக்கு இரட்சகரானார்.
9 In all their distress [He is] no adversary, And the messenger of His presence saved them, In His love and in His pity He redeemed them, And He doth lift them up, And beareth them all the days of old.
௯அவர்களுடைய எல்லா நெருக்கத்திலும் அவர் நெருக்கப்பட்டார்; அவருடைய சமுகத்தின் தூதனானவர் அவர்களை காப்பாற்றினார் அவர் தமது அன்பின் காரணமாகவும், தமது பரிதாபத்தின் காரணமாகவும் அவர்களை விடுவித்தது, ஆரம்ப நாட்களிலெல்லாம் அவர்களைத் தூக்கிச் சுமந்துவந்தார்.
10 And they have rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit, And He turneth to them for an enemy, He Himself hath fought against them.
௧0அவர்களோ கலகம்செய்து, அவருடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியை விசனப்படுத்தினார்கள்; அதினால் அவர் அவர்களுக்கு எதிரியாக மாறி, அவரே அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக போர்செய்தார்.
11 And He remembereth the days of old, Moses — his people. Where [is] He who is bringing them up from the sea, The shepherd of his flock? Where [is] He who is putting in its midst His Holy Spirit?
௧௧ஆகிலும் அவர் ஆரம்பநாட்களையும், மோசேயையும், தம்முடைய மக்களையும் நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்; ஆனாலும் அவர்களையும் தமது மந்தையின் மேய்ப்பனையும் கடலிலிருந்து ஏறச்செய்தவர் இப்பொழுது எங்கே?
12 Leading by the right hand of Moses, the arm of His glory, Cleaving waters from before them, To make to Himself a name age-during.
௧௨அவர்கள் நடுவிலே தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியை இருக்கக் கட்டளையிட்டு, மோசேயின் வலதுகையைக் கொண்டு அவர்களைத் தமது மகிமையின் புயத்தினாலே நடத்தி, தமக்கு நித்திய புகழ்ச்சியை உண்டாக்க அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தண்ணீரைப் பிளந்து,
13 Leading them through the depths, As a horse in a plain they stumble not.
௧௩ஒரு குதிரை வனாந்திரவெளியிலே நடக்கிறதுபோல, அவர்கள் இடறாதபடிக்கு அவர்களை ஆழங்களில் நடக்கச்செய்தவர் எங்கே?
14 As a beast into a valley goeth down, The Spirit of Jehovah causeth him to rest, So hast Thou led Thy people, To make to Thyself a glorious name.
௧௪யெகோவாவுடைய ஆவியானவர் அவர்களைப் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே போய் இறங்குகிற மிருகஜீவன்களைப்போல இளைப்பாறச்செய்தார்; இப்படியே தேவரீர், உமக்கு மகிமையுள்ள புகழ்ச்சியை உண்டாக்கும்படி உம்முடைய மக்களை நடத்தினீர்.
15 Look attentively from the heavens, And see from Thy holy and beauteous habitation, Where [is] Thy zeal and Thy might? The multitude of Thy bowels and Thy mercies Towards me have refrained themselves.
௧௫தேவரீர் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து கண்ணோக்கி, பரிசுத்தமும் மகிமையுமுள்ள உம்முடைய வாசஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து பாரும், உம்முடைய வைராக்கியமும், உம்முடைய வல்லமையும் எங்கே? உம்முடைய உள்ளத்தின் கொதிப்பையும், உம்முடைய மனஉருக்கத்தையும் எனக்கு முன்பாக அடக்கிக்கொள்ளுகிறீரோ?
16 For Thou [art] our Father, For Abraham hath not known us, And Israel doth not acknowledge us, Thou, O Jehovah, [art] our Father, Our redeemer from the age, [is] Thy name.
௧௬தேவரீர் எங்கள் பிதாவாயிருக்கிறீர்; ஆபிரகாம் எங்களை அறியான், இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நாங்கள் அறியப்பட்டவர்களுமல்ல; யெகோவாவே, நீர் எங்கள் பிதாவும், எங்கள் மீட்பருமாயிருக்கிறீர்; இது ஆரம்பகாலமுதல் உம்முடைய நாமம்.
17 Why causest Thou us to wander, O Jehovah, from Thy ways? Thou hardenest our heart from Thy fear, Turn back for Thy servants' sake, The tribes of Thine inheritance.
௧௭யெகோவாவே, நீர் எங்களை உம்முடைய வழிகளைவிட்டுத் தப்பிப்போகச்செய்து, எங்கள் இருதயத்தை உமக்குப் பயப்படாதபடிக்கு ஏன் கடினப்படுத்தவேண்டும்? உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரினிமித்தமும், உமக்குச் சொந்தமான கோத்திரங்களினிமித்தமும் திரும்பியருளும்.
18 For a little while did Thy holy people possess, Our adversaries have trodden down Thy sanctuary.
௧௮பரிசுத்தமுள்ள உமது மக்கள் கொஞ்சக் காலமாத்திரம் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்தார்கள்; எங்கள் எதிரிகள் உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை மிதித்துப்போட்டார்கள்.
19 We have been from of old, Thou hast not ruled over them, Not called is Thy name upon them!
௧௯நாங்களே உம்முடையவர்கள், அவர்களை ஒருபொழுதும் நீர் ஆண்டதில்லை; அவர்களுக்கு உமது நாமம் சூட்டப்பட்டதுமில்லை.
