< Isaiah 57 >
1 The righteous hath perished, And there is none laying [it] to heart, And men of kindness are gathered, Without any considering that from the face of evil Gathered is the righteous one.
Mipha ho hinkho abeiyin; Pathen ngaisah aphat lhing louvin athi jiuve. Hinla koiman ipi jeh’ ham ti gelkhoh’a ahilouleh datmoa aumpouve. Ahivangin, koiman phat phalou lhung ding a kona Pathen’in alah uhinte, ti gel’a koima aumpoi.
2 He entereth into peace, they rest on their beds, [Each] is going straightforward.
Pathen ngaisahna lampi a cheho chu hung thi jonguleh lungmonga choldo ding ahiuve.
3 And ye, come near hither, O sons of a sorceress, seed of an adulterer, Even thou dost commit whoredom.
Hinla nangho doichoi ho chate, jon bol pasal ho le numei kijoh chilhah ho- hikoma hin hung khom’uvin!
4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? Against whom enlarge ye the mouth? Prolong ye the tongue? Are not ye children of transgression? a false seed?
Koi douna’a kigoa nahiuva? Koi douna’a namai’u najep pol’uva chule kamka’a lei lhadoh’a nahiu vem? Nangho chonset bol ho chate le jousei hat chate nahiu ve!
5 Who are inflamed among oaks, under every green tree, Slaughtering the children in valleys, Under clefts of the rocks.
Nanghon khongnang phungho le thingphung hing bultina nalim -semthu hou chu nagel khoh lheh’uve. Nanghon phaicham dung hoa songpia konna kitandoh ho chunga nachateu chu kilhainan natoh doh’uvin ahi. Keima kahitapon, amaho joh chu nagou chin’u ahitai. Hiche nabol’hou jouse hin keima hi kipah inte nei tiu ham?
6 Among the smooth things of a brook [is] thy portion, They — they [are] thy lot, Also to them thou hast poured out an oblation, Thou hast caused a present to ascend, For these things am I comforted?
Phaicham mun hoa song jolsel ho chu na-pathen ‘u ahin, amaho chu nanghon Pathen houva nahou’uva kikatdohna don ding thilto nalhei lhauvin chule anneh thiltoho natohdoh’uvin ahi. Amaho chu na gouchan diu ahitai, Keima kahitapoi. Hiche nabol ho’u hin Keima hi kipah inte neitiu hija ham?
7 On a mountain, high and exalted, Thou hast set thy couch, Also thither thou hast gone up to make a sacrifice.
Nanghon molsang tinna jon-thanhoina nabol tauve. Chuche mun hoa chun nanghon milim nahou’uvin, Keima dinga kitahna bei nahiu ahitai.
8 And behind the door, and the post, Thou hast set up thy memorial, For from Me thou hast removed, and goest up, Thou hast enlarged thy couch, And dost covenant for thyself among them, Thou hast loved their couch, the station thou sawest,
Nanghon lim-semthu houho melchihnaho chu na kotkhom ho’uva le na kotnung’uva natah’uvin, Keima nei dalhauvin, hiche pathenna neidia thet umtah ho chu nakichoijun, lupna nakaldoh piuvin ahi. Nanghon sagoh-keuva um semthu-milim chu lung ngaichatnin naveuvin, nangho tah nakipedoh jenguve.
9 And goest joyfully to the king in ointment, And dost multiply thy perfumes, And sendest thine ambassadors afar off, And humblest thyself unto Sheol. (Sheol )
Nanghon Olive thao chu semthu-pathen (Molech-pathen)’a chun thao namtui pumin napedohtauve. Nangman naphahna thei chana, vannoi mithigam geijin, Pathen thah ngailut ding hollin nakalsongin ahi. (Sheol )
10 In the greatness of thy way thou hast laboured, Thou hast not said, 'It is desperate.' The life of thy hand thou hast found, Therefore thou hast not been sick.
Na thilholna’a na cholta lheh’in, hinla na ngahnompoi. Ngaichat chun thahatna thah napen, na lhadah hihlaije.
11 And of whom hast thou been afraid, and fearest, That thou liest, and Me hast not remembered? Thou hast not laid [it] to thy heart, Am not I silent, even from of old? And Me thou fearest not?
Hiche lim-kisemthu hohi nakichat ham? Amaho hin natijat sah em? Hiche jeh’a hi nangman keima jouva neibol’a chule nei suhmil’a chule ka thuseiho nasuhmil gam hitam? Keima kathipsot behseh tah jeh’a hi nei ginlou hitam?
12 I declare thy righteousness, and thy works, And they do not profit thee.
Tua hi keiman thilpha bol’a na kigelnaho hi kasosal ding nahitai. Hiho chun na panpi lou dingu ahije.
13 When thou criest, let thy gatherings deliver thee, And all of them carry away doth wind, Take away doth vanity, And whoso is trusting in Me inheriteth the land, And doth possess My holy mountain.
Panpi na ngaichatna nakou teng hiche limsemthu- pathen ho chun na panpiu vem veuhite. Ipi itidan'a huisi hung nung chun amaho amutlhuh ahidem! Achunguva nahaigin ajah’ujongleh aginna lhu jengu hin tem! Hinla koi hijongleh eitahsan mi chun gam chu aloding chule Ka lhangtheng chu aloding ahi.
14 And he hath said, 'Raise up, raise up, prepare a way, Lift a stumbling-block out of the way of My people.'
Pathen’in, lamlen chu semphauvin, ati! Kamite chu asohchan nauva ahung kilekitna dinguvin lampia songpi ho le songho suthengun.
15 For thus said the high and exalted One, Inhabiting eternity, and holy [is] His name: 'In the high and holy place I dwell, And with the bruised and humble of spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of bruised ones,'
Sangtah le achungnungpenpa, tonsotna hing jingpa chun, hiche hi aseije:”Keima munsang le achungnungpen’a ka um'in, a lhagao ki sehgima chule akineosah hoto kaum khome. Keiman mi kineosah ho ka kiledohsah kitnin chule lungchang kisih ho lung ngamna kalepeh in ahi.
16 For, not to the age do I strive, nor for ever am I wroth, For the spirit from before Me is feeble, And the souls I have made.
Ajeh iham itileh nangho chunga doulung kaput jing ding ahipon; keima lung hang jing ding kahipoi. Chuti ding hileng, kasemsa mihemte hi abonchauva thigam diu ahitai.
17 For the iniquity of his dishonest gain, I have been wroth, and I smite him, Hiding — and am wroth, And he goeth on turning back in the way of his heart.
Kalung ana hanga, hijeh’a hi hiche mite hi ka gimbol ahi. Keima amahoa konin kakikhin kangin, ahijeng vang'in alouchal nau ajom jing nalaijuve.
18 His ways I have seen, and I heal him, yea, I lead him, And recompense comforts to him and to his mourning ones.
Amahon ipi abol’u kamunai, hijongleh kaboldam ding hitante! Ken amaho pui jingting, alhaseteho kalhamon ding ahi.
19 Producing the fruit of the lips, 'Peace, peace,' to the far off, and to the near, And I have healed him, said Jehovah.
Pakai, amaho damsahpa’n aseije: Agamla le anaija hon lungmonna lhingset nei’uhen; akam’uva vahchoina thucheng hinlhut ‘uhen, ati.
20 And the wicked [are] as the driven out sea, For to rest it is not able, And its waters cast out filth and mire.
Hijongleh, Keima eidoubol jing ho chu twikhanglen kinong, umthim theilouva, bonnang le aphon-nen hin notdoh tobangbep ahiuve.
21 There is no peace, said my God, to the wicked!
“Agiloupa dingin lungmonna aumpoi,” tin ka Pathen’in aseije.
