Isaiah 54

1 Sing, O barren, she hath not borne! Break forth with singing, and cry aloud, She hath not brought forth! For more [are] the sons of the desolate, Than the sons of the married one, said Jehovah.

۱ ای عاقره‌ای که نزاییده‌ای بسرا! ای که درد زه نکشیده‌ای به آواز بلند ترنم نماو فریاد برآور! زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: پسران زن بیکس از پسران زن منکوحه زیاده‌اند.

2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, And the curtains of thy tabernacles they stretch out, Restrain not — lengthen thy cords, And thy pins make strong.

۲ مکان خیمه خود را وسیع گردان و پرده های مسکن های تو پهن بشود دریغ مدار و طنابهای خود را درازکرده، میخهایت را محکم بساز.

3 For right and left thou breakest forth, And thy seed doth nations possess,

۳ زیرا که بطرف راست و چپ منتشر خواهی شد و ذریت توامت‌ها را تصرف خواهند نمود و شهرهای ویران را مسکون خواهند ساخت.

4 And desolate cities they cause to be inhabited. Fear not, for thou art not ashamed, Nor blush, for thou art not confounded, For the shame of thy youth thou forgettest, And the reproach of thy widowhood Thou dost not remember any more.

۴ مترس زیرا که خجل نخواهی شد و مشوش مشو زیرا که رسوانخواهی گردید. چونکه خجالت جوانی خویش را فراموش خواهی کرد و عار بیوگی خود را دیگربه یاد نخواهی آورد.

5 For thy Maker [is] thy husband, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name, And thy Redeemer [is] the Holy One of Israel, 'God of all the earth,' He is called.

۵ زیرا که آفریننده تو که اسمش یهوه صبایوت است شوهر تو است. وقدوس اسرائیل که به خدای تمام جهان مسمی است ولی تو می‌باشد.

6 For, as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Called thee hath Jehovah, Even a youthful wife when she is refused, said thy God.

۶ زیرا خداوند تو را مثل زن مهجور و رنجیده دل خوانده است و مانندزوجه جوانی که ترک شده باشد. خدای تو این رامی گوید.

7 In a small moment I have forsaken thee, And in great mercies I do gather thee,

۷ زیرا تو را به اندک لحظه‌ای ترک کردم اما به رحمت های عظیم تو را جمع خواهم نمود.

8 In overflowing wrath I hid my face [for] a moment from thee, And in kindness age-during I have loved thee, Said thy Redeemer — Jehovah!

۸ و خداوند ولی تو می‌گوید: «بجوشش غضبی خود را از تو برای لحظه‌ای پوشانیدم اما به احسان جاودانی برتو رحمت خواهم فرمود.

9 For, the waters of Noah [is] this to Me, In that I have sworn — the waters of Noah Do not pass again over the earth — So I have sworn, Wrath is not upon thee, Nor rebuke against thee.

۹ زیرا که این برای من مثل آبهای نوح می‌باشد. چنانکه قسم خوردم که آبهای نوح بار دیگر بر زمین جاری نخواهد شد همچنان قسم خوردم که بر توغضب نکنم و تو را عتاب ننمایم.

10 For the mountains depart, and the hills remove, And My kindness from thee departeth not, And the covenant of My peace removeth not, Said hath thy loving one — Jehovah.

۱۰ هرآینه کوهها زایل خواهد شد و تلها متحرک خواهدگردید، لیکن احسان من از تو زایل نخواهد شد وعهد سلامتی من متحرک نخواهد گردید.» خداوند که بر تو رحمت می‌کند این را می‌گوید.

11 O afflicted, storm-tossed, not comforted, Lo, I am laying with cement thy stones, And have founded thee with sapphires,

۱۱ «ای رنجانیده و مضطرب شده که تسلی نیافته‌ای اینک من سنگهای تو را در سنگ سرمه نصب خواهم کرد و بنیاد تو را در یاقوت زردخواهم نهاد.

12 And have made of agate thy pinnacles, And thy gates of carbuncle stones, And all thy border of stones of delight,

۱۲ و مناره های تو را از لعل ودروازه هایت را از سنگهای بهرمان و تمامی حدود تو را از سنگهای گران قیمت خواهم ساخت.

13 And all thy sons are taught of Jehovah, And abundant [is] the peace of thy sons.

۱۳ و جمیع پسرانت از خداوند تعلیم خواهند یافت و پسرانت را سلامتی عظیم خواهدبود.

14 In righteousness thou establishest thyself, Be far from oppression, for thou fearest not, And from ruin, for it cometh not near unto thee.

۱۴ در عدالت ثابت شده و از ظلم دور مانده، نخواهی ترسید و هم از آشفتگی دور خواهی ماند و به تو نزدیکی نخواهد نمود.

15 Lo, he doth diligently assemble without My desire, Who hath assembled near thee? By thee he falleth!

۱۵ همانا جمع خواهند شد اما نه به اذن من. آنانی که به ضد توجمع شوند به‌سبب تو خواهند افتاد.

16 Lo, I — I have prepared an artisan, Blowing on a fire of coals, And bringing out an instrument for his work, And I have prepared a destroyer to destroy.

۱۶ اینک من آهنگری را که زغال را به آتش دمیده، آلتی برای کار خود بیرون می‌آورد، آفریدم. و من نیز هلاک کننده را برای خراب نمودن آفریدم.

17 No weapon formed against thee prospereth, And every tongue rising against thee, In judgment thou condemnest. This [is] the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, And their righteousness from me, an affirmation of Jehovah!

۱۷ هر آلتی که به ضد تو ساخته شود پیش نخواهد برد و هرزبانی را که برای محاکمه به ضد تو برخیزدتکذیب خواهی نمود. این است نصیب بندگان خداوند و عدالت ایشان از جانب من.» خداوندمی گوید.
