Isaiah 4

1 And taken hold have seven women on one man, In that day, saying, 'Our own bread we do eat, And our own raiment we put on, Only, let thy name be called over us, Remove thou our reproach.'

Siete mujeres se apoderarán de un solo hombre en aquel día, diciendo: “Comeremos nuestro propio pan y vestiremos nuestra propia ropa. Deja que nos llamen por tu nombre. Quita nuestro reproche”.

2 In that day is the Shoot of Jehovah for desire and for honour, And the fruit of the earth For excellence and for beauty to the escaped of Israel.

En ese día, la rama de Yahvé será hermosa y gloriosa, y el fruto de la tierra será la belleza y la gloria de los sobrevivientes de Israel.

3 And it hath been, he who is left in Zion, And he who is remaining in Jerusalem, 'Holy' is said of him, Of every one who is written for life in Jerusalem.

Sucederá que el que quede en Sión y el que permanezca en Jerusalén serán llamados santos, todos los que estén inscritos entre los vivos de Jerusalén,

4 If the Lord hath washed away The filth of daughters of Zion, And the blood of Jerusalem purgeth from her midst, By the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

cuando el Señor haya lavado la inmundicia de las hijas de Sión, y haya purificado la sangre de Jerusalén de su interior, por el espíritu de justicia y por el espíritu de ardor.

5 Then hath Jehovah prepared Over every fixed place of Mount Zion, And over her convocations, A cloud by day, and smoke, And the shining of a flaming fire by night, That, over all honour a safe-guard,

Yahvé creará sobre toda la morada del monte Sión y sobre sus asambleas, una nube y un humo de día, y el resplandor de un fuego ardiente de noche, pues sobre toda la gloria habrá un dosel.

6 And a covering may be, For a shadow by day from drought, And for a refuge, and for a hiding place, From inundation and from rain!

Habrá un pabellón para dar sombra durante el día contra el calor, y para refugiarse y resguardarse de la tormenta y de la lluvia.
