Isaiah 22
1 The burden of the Valley of Vision. What — to thee, now, that thou hast gone up, All of thee — to the roofs?
൧ദർശനത്താഴ്വരയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകം: നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും വീടുകളുടെ മുകളിൽ കയറേണ്ടതിനു നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്ത് ഭവിച്ചു?
2 Full of stirs — a noisy city — an exulting city, Thy pierced are not pierced of the sword, Nor dead in battle.
൨അയ്യോ, കോലാഹലം നിറഞ്ഞും ആരവപൂർണ്ണമായും ഇരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടണമേ! ഉല്ലസിതനഗരമേ! നിന്റെ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവർ വാളാൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരല്ല, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ മരിച്ചുപോയവരും അല്ല.
3 All thy rulers fled together from the bow, Bound have been all found of thee, They have been kept bound together, Afar off they have fled.
൩നിന്റെ ഭരണാധിപന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും ഒരുമിച്ച് ഓടിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ വില്ലില്ലാത്തവരായി ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നവരെല്ലാം ദൂരത്ത് ഓടിപ്പോയിട്ടും ഒരുപോലെ ബദ്ധരായിരിക്കുന്നു.
4 Therefore I said, 'Look ye from me, I am bitter in my weeping, Haste not to comfort me, For the destruction of the daughter of my people.'
൪അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞത്: “എന്നെ നോക്കരുത്; ഞാൻ കൈപ്പോടെ കരയട്ടെ; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നാശത്തെച്ചൊല്ലി എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ബദ്ധപ്പെടരുത്”.
5 For a day of noise, and of treading down, And of perplexity, [is] to the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, In the valley of vision, digging down a wall, And crying unto the mountain.
൫സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിങ്കൽനിന്നു ദർശനത്താഴ്വരയിൽ ക്ലേശവും സംഹാരവും പരിഭ്രമവുമുള്ള ഒരു നാൾ വരുന്നു; മതിലുകളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും മലകളോട് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതും ആയ നാൾ തന്നെ.
6 And Elam hath borne a quiver, In a chariot of men — horsemen, And Kir hath exposed a shield.
൬ഏലാം, കാലാളും കുതിരപ്പടയും ഉള്ള സൈന്യത്തോടുകൂടി ആവനാഴിക എടുക്കുകയും കീർ പരിചയുടെ ഉറ നീക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
7 And it cometh to pass, The choice of thy valleys have been full of chariots, And the horsemen place themselves diligently at the gate.
൭അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ താഴ്വരകൾ രഥങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു നിറയും; കുതിരപ്പട വാതില്ക്കൽ അണിനിരത്തും.
8 And one removeth the covering of Judah, And thou lookest in that day Unto the armour of the house of the forest,
൮അവൻ യെഹൂദായുടെ മൂടുപടം നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ വനഗൃഹത്തിലെ ആയുധവർഗ്ഗത്തെ നോക്കി,
9 And the breaches of the city of David ye have seen, For they have become many, And ye gather the waters of the lower pool,
൯ദാവീദിൻ നഗരത്തിന്റെ ഇടിവുകൾ അനവധിയെന്നു കണ്ടു; താഴത്തെ കുളത്തിലെ വെള്ളം കെട്ടി നിർത്തി,
10 And the houses of Jerusalem ye did number, And ye break down the houses to fence the wall.
൧൦യെരൂശലേമിലെ വീടുകൾ എണ്ണി, മതിൽ ഉറപ്പിക്കുവാൻ വീടുകൾ പൊളിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
11 And a ditch ye made between the two walls, For the waters of the old pool, And ye have not looked unto its Maker, And its Framer of old ye have not seen.
൧൧പഴയ കുളത്തിലെ വെള്ളം സൂക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ രണ്ടു മതിലുകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ഒരു ജലസംഭരണി ഉണ്ടാക്കി; എങ്കിലും അത് വരുത്തിയവങ്കലേക്കു നിങ്ങൾ തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല, പണ്ടുപണ്ടേ അത് രൂപകല്പന ചെയ്തവനെ ബഹുമാനിച്ചതുമില്ല.
12 And call doth the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, In that day, to weeping and to lamentation, And to baldness and to girding on of sackcloth,
൧൨അന്ന് സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് കരച്ചിലിനും വിലാപത്തിനും മുണ്ഡനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും
13 And lo, joy and gladness, slaying of oxen, And slaughtering of sheep, Eating of flesh, and drinking of wine, Eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.
൧൩രട്ടുടുക്കുന്നതിന്നും വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ എന്നാൽ തല്‍സ്ഥാനത്ത് ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും കാള അറുക്കുക, ആടറുക്കുക, ഇറച്ചിതിന്നുക, വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കുക! “നാം തിന്നുക, കുടിക്കുക; നാളെ മരിക്കുമല്ലോ” എന്നിങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.
14 And revealed it hath been in mine ears, [By] Jehovah of Hosts: Not pardoned is this iniquity to you, Till ye die, said the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts.
൧൪സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്റെ കാതിൽ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിത്തന്നത്: “നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കുംവരെ ഈ അകൃത്യം നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മോചിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല” എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
15 Thus said the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts: 'Go, enter in unto this steward, Unto Shebna, who [is] over the house:
൧൫സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിക്കുന്നു: “നീ ചെന്നു ഭണ്ഡാരപതിയും രാജധാനിവിചാരകനുമായ ശെബ്നെയെ കണ്ടു പറയേണ്ടത്;
16 What — to thee here? And who — to thee here? That thou hast hewn out to thee here — a sepulchre? Hewing on high his sepulchre, Graving in a rock a dwelling for himself.
൧൬നീ എന്താകുന്നു ഈ ചെയ്യുന്നത്? നിനക്ക് ഇവിടെ ആരുള്ളു? ഇവിടെ നീ കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നത് ആർക്ക് വേണ്ടി? ഉയർന്ന ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് അവൻ തനിക്ക് ഒരു കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നു; പാറയിൽ തനിക്ക് ഒരു പാർപ്പിടം കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.
17 Lo, Jehovah is casting thee up and down, A casting up and down, O mighty one,
൧൭ഹേ, ബലവാനായ മനുഷ്യാ, നിന്നെ യഹോവ തൂക്കിയെടുത്തു ചുഴറ്റി എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും.
18 And thy coverer covering, wrapping round, Wrappeth thee round, O babbler, On a land broad of sides — there thou diest, And there the chariots of thine honour [Are] the shame of the house of thy lord.
൧൮അവൻ ഉഗ്രതയോടെ നിശ്ചയമായും നിന്നെ ഒരു പന്തുപോലെ വിശാലമായൊരു ദേശത്തിലേക്ക് ഉരുട്ടിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ലജ്ജയായുള്ളോവേ, അവിടെ നീ മരിക്കും; നിന്റെ മഹത്ത്വമുള്ള രഥങ്ങളും അവിടെയാകും.
19 And I have thrust thee from thy station, And from thine office he throweth thee down.
൧൯ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് അവൻ നിന്നെ തള്ളിയിടും.
20 And it hath come to pass, in that day, That I have called to my servant, To Eliakim son of Hilkiah.
൨൦ആ നാളിൽ ഞാൻ ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ എന്റെ ദാസനായ എല്യാക്കീമിനെ വിളിക്കും.
21 And I have clothed him with thy coat, And with thy girdle I strengthen him, And thy garment I give into his hand, And he hath been for a father to the inhabitant of Jerusalem, And to the house of Judah.
൨൧അവനെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മേലങ്കി ധരിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ കച്ചകൊണ്ട് അവന്റെ അര കെട്ടും; നിന്റെ അധികാരം ഞാൻ അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികൾക്കും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിനും ഒരു അപ്പനായിരിക്കും.
22 And I have placed the key Of the house of David on his shoulder, And he hath opened, and none is shutting, And hath shut, and none is opening.
൨൨ഞാൻ ദാവീദ്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ താക്കോൽ അവന്റെ തോളിൽ വയ്ക്കും; അവൻ തുറന്നാൽ ആരും അടയ്ക്കുകയില്ല; അവൻ അടച്ചാൽ ആരും തുറക്കുകയുമില്ല.
23 And I have fixed him a nail in a stedfast place, And he hath been for a throne of honour To the house of his father.
൨൩ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്ത് ഒരു ആണിപോലെ ഞാൻ അവനെ തറയ്ക്കും; അവൻ തന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിനു മഹത്ത്വമുള്ള ഒരു സിംഹാസനം ആയിരിക്കും.
24 And they have hanged on him All the honour of the house of his father, The offspring and the issue, All vessels of small quality, From vessels of basins to all vessels of flagons.
൨൪അവർ അവന്റെമേൽ അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്റെ സകലമഹത്ത്വത്തെയും സന്തതിയെയും സന്തതിപരമ്പരയെയും കിണ്ണംമുതൽ തുരുത്തിവരെയുള്ള സകലവിധ ചെറുപാത്രങ്ങളെയും തൂക്കിയിടും”.
25 In that day — an affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, Moved is the nail that is fixed In a stedfast place, Yea, it hath been cut down, and hath fallen, And cut off hath been the burden that [is] on it, For Jehovah hath spoken!'
൨൫“ആ നാളിൽ ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു തറച്ചിരുന്ന ആണി ഇളകിപ്പോകും” എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; “അത് മുറിഞ്ഞുവീഴുകയും അതിന്മേലുള്ള ഭാരം തകർന്നുപോകുകയും ചെയ്യും;” യഹോവയല്ലയോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
