Isaiah 11
1 And a rod hath come out from the stock of Jesse, And a branch from his roots is fruitful.
Na rĩrĩ, kuuma gĩthukĩ-inĩ kĩa Jesii nĩhakoima mũndũ ũhaana ta thuuna ĩrathundũka, na Rũhonge rũrĩa rũkoima mĩri-inĩ yake nĩrũgaciara maciaro.
2 Rested on him hath the Spirit of Jehovah, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge and fear of Jehovah.
Nake Roho wa Jehova agaakorwo igũrũ rĩake: Roho wa ũũgĩ na wa ũmenyo, Roho wa ũtaarani na wa hinya, Roho wa ũmenyo na wa gwĩtigĩra Jehova:
3 To refresh him in the fear of Jehovah, And by the sight of his eyes he judgeth not, Nor by the hearing of his ears decideth.
naguo ũndũ ũrĩa ũkaamũkenagia nĩ gwĩtigĩra Jehova. Ndagatuuaga ciira na ũndũ wa kũrora gĩthiithi kĩa mũndũ, kana atue ciira na ũndũ wa kũigua njuukũ;
4 And he hath judged in righteousness the poor, And decided in uprightness for the humble of earth, And hath smitten earth with the rod of his mouth, And with the breath of his lips he putteth the wicked to death.
no rĩrĩ, nĩagaciirithia arĩa abatari arĩ na ũthingu, nao arĩa athĩĩni a gũkũ thĩ amatuĩre ciira na kĩhooto. Nĩakahũũra thĩ na rũthanju rwa kanua gake, na oorage andũ arĩa aaganu na mĩhũmũ ya mĩromo yake.
5 And righteousness hath been the girdle of his loins, And faithfulness — the girdle of his reins.
Ũthingu nĩguo ũgaatuĩka mũcibi wake, naguo wĩhokeku ũtuĩke mwĩhotoro wake wa njohero.
6 And a wolf hath sojourned with a lamb, And a leopard with a kid doth lie down, And calf, and young lion, and fatling [are] together, And a little youth is leader over them.
Njũũi ĩgaatũũranagia na kagondu, nayo ngarĩ ĩgaakomanagia na mbũri, nayo njaũ, na mũrũũthi, na nyamũ ya gĩcegũ igaaikaraga hamwe; nacio igaatongoragio nĩ kaana kanini.
7 And cow and bear do feed, Together lie down their young ones, And a lion as an ox eateth straw.
Ngʼombe na nduba ikaarĩĩaga hamwe, natuo tũcaũ twacio tũgaakomanagia hamwe, naguo mũrũũthi ũkaarĩĩaga nyeki ta ndegwa.
8 And played hath a suckling by the hole of an asp, And on the den of a cockatrice Hath the weaned one put his hand.
Mwana wa rũkenge agathaakagĩra irima-inĩ rĩa gĩĩko, nake mwana mũnini nĩagaikagia guoko irima-inĩ rĩa nduĩra.
9 Evil they do not, nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For full hath been the earth with the knowledge of Jehovah, As the waters are covering the sea.
Gũtikageranwo ngero kana kũniinanwo, kũu kĩrĩma-inĩ gĩakwa gĩtheru, nĩgũkorwo thĩ nĩĩkaiyũrwo nĩ ũmenyo wa Jehova, o ta ũrĩa maaĩ maiyũrĩte iria-inĩ.
10 And there hath been, in that day, A root of Jesse that is standing for an ensign of peoples, Unto him do nations seek, And his rest hath been — honour!
Na nĩgũgakinya atĩrĩ, mũthenya ũcio mũndũ ũcio ũkoima Mũri-inĩ wa Jesii, nĩakarũgama atuĩke ta bendera kũrĩ kĩrĩndĩ; ndũrĩrĩ nĩikongana harĩ we, nakĩo gĩikaro gĩake gĩa kũhurũka gĩgaakorwo kĩrĩ na riiri.
11 And it hath come to pass, in that day, The Lord addeth a second time his power, To get the remnant of His people that is left, From Asshur, and from Egypt, And from Pathros, and from Cush, And from Elam, and from Shinar, And from Hamath, and from isles of the sea,
Mũthenya ũcio Mwathani nĩagatambũrũkia guoko ihinda rĩa keerĩ, akũũre matigari ma andũ ake marĩa magaakorwo matigaire, amarute Ashuri, na kuuma Misiri ya Kĩanda, na kuuma Misiri ya Rũgongo, na kuuma Kushi, na kuuma Elamu, na kuuma Babuloni, na kuuma Hamathu, na kuuma icigĩrĩra cia iria.
12 And He hath lifted up an ensign to nations, And gathereth the driven away of Israel, And the scattered of Judah He assembleth, From the four wings of the earth.
Nĩakahaandĩra ndũrĩrĩ bendera, na acookanĩrĩrie andũ a Isiraeli arĩa maatahĩtwo; ningĩ acookanĩrĩrie andũ a Juda arĩa maahurunjĩtwo kuuma ituri-inĩ iria inya cia thĩ.
13 And turned aside hath the envy of Ephraim, And the adversaries of Judah are cut off, Ephraim doth not envy Judah, And Judah doth not distress Ephraim.
Ũiru wa Efiraimu nĩũgaathira, nacio thũ cia Juda nĩikaaniinwo; Efiraimu ndakaiguĩra Juda ũiru, kana Juda agĩe na ũthũ na Efiraimu.
14 And they have flown on the shoulder of the Philistines westward, Together they spoil the sons of the east, Edom and Moab sending forth their hand, And sons of Ammon obeying them.
Nao nĩmagaikũrũka iharũrũka-inĩ cia Afilisti cia mwena wa ithũĩro; na marĩ hamwe nĩmagataha andũ a mwena wa irathĩro. Nĩmakenyiitĩra Edomu na Moabi, na nĩo magaathaga andũ a Amoni.
15 And Jehovah hath devoted to destruction The tongue of the sea of Egypt, And hath waved His hand over the river, In the terror of his wind, And hath smitten it at the seven streams, And hath caused [men] to tread [it] with shoes.
Na harĩa iria rĩa Misiri rĩcomokete ta rũrĩmĩ-rĩ, Jehova nĩakarĩhũithia biũ; ningĩ nĩakahuruta rũhuho rũhiũ na guoko gwake rũhũithie Rũũĩ rwa Farati. Nĩakarũgayania rũtuĩke tũrũũĩ mũgwanja, nĩgeetha andũ mahote kũringaga matekũruta iraatũ.
16 And there hath been a highway, For the remnant of His people that is left, from Asshur, As there was for Israel in the day of his coming up out of the land of Egypt!
Nĩgũgakorwo na njĩra nene ya kũgererwo nĩ matigari ma andũ ake arĩa magaakorwo matigaire Ashuri, o ta ĩrĩa yagereirwo nĩ andũ a Isiraeli rĩrĩa maambatire makiuma bũrũri wa Misiri.
