Hosea 9
1 'Rejoice not, O Israel, be not joyful like the peoples, For thou hast gone a-whoring from thy God, Thou hast loved a gift near all floors of corn.
ए इस्राएल, अरू मानिसहरूझैं आनन्दित नहोओ । किनकि आफ्ना परमेश्वरलाई त्यागेर, तिमीहरूले विश्वासहीन भएका छौ । अन्नका सबै खलामा वेश्यालाई तिर्नुपर्ने ज्याला तिर्न तिमीहरू मन पराउँछौ ।
2 Floor and wine-press do not delight them, And new wine doth fail in her,
तर अन्नका खला र दाखबारीका कोलले तिनीहरूलाई खुवाउनेछैन, र नयाँ दाखमद्य तिनीहरूका निम्ति पर्याप्त हुनेछैन ।
3 They do not abide in the land of Jehovah, And turned back hath Ephraim [to] Egypt, And in Asshur an unclean thing they eat.
तिनीहरू परमप्रभुको देशमा सधैंभरि रहनेछैनन्, बरु, एफ्राइम मिश्रदेशमा फर्कनेछ, र एक दिन तिनीहरूले अश्शूरमा अशुद्ध भोजन खानेछन् ।
4 They pour not out wine to Jehovah, Nor are they sweet to Him, Their sacrifices [are] as bread of mourners to them, All eating it are unclean: For their bread [is] for themselves, It doth not come into the house of Jehovah.
तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुलाई दाखमद्यको भेटी चढाउनेछैनन्, न त तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई प्रसन्न तुल्याउनेछन् । तिनीहरूका बलिदानहरू तिनीहरूका निम्ति शोक गर्नेको भोजनझैं हुनेछ । जतिले त्यो खान्छन् ती सबै अशुद्ध हुनेछन् । किनकि तिनीहरूका भोजन तिनीहरूकै निम्ति मात्र हुनेछ । त्यो परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा आउनेछैन ।
5 What do ye at the day appointed? And at the day of Jehovah's festival?
तोकिएको चाडको दिनमा, परमप्रभुको निम्ति चाडको दिनमा तिमीहरू के गर्नेछौ?
6 For, lo, they have gone because of destruction, Egypt gathereth them, Moph burieth them, The desirable things of their silver, Nettles possess them — a thorn [is] in their tents.
किनकि, हेर, तिनीहरू विनाशबाट उम्के भने, मिश्रदेशले तिनीहरूलाई एकसाथ भेला गर्नेछ, र मोपका मानिसहरूले तिनीहरूलाई गाड्नेछन् । तिनीहरूका चाँदीका धन काँढाघारीले ढाक्नेछ, र तिनीहरूका पालहरू काँढाका झाँगहरूले भरिनेछ ।
7 Come in have the days of inspection, Come in have the days of recompence, Israel doth know! a fool [is] the prophet, Mad [is] the man of the Spirit, Because of the abundance of thine iniquity, And great [is] the hatred.
दण्डका दिनहरू आउँदैछन् । बदलाका दिनहरू आउँदैछन् । सबै इस्राएलीहरूले यी कुरा जानून् । तिमीहरूका घोर अधर्म र वैरभावका कारणले, अगमवक्ता मुर्ख हुन्छ र प्रेरणा पाएको मानिसचाहि बौलाह हुनेछ ।
8 Ephraim is looking [away] from My God, The prophet! a snare of a fowler [is] over all his ways, Hatred [is] in the house of his God.
अगमवक्ताचाहिं एफ्राइममाथि मेरा परमेश्वरको निम्ति रेखदेख गर्ने व्यक्ति हो । तर त्यसका सबै मार्गहरूमा चराको पासो थापिएको छ, र त्यसको परमेश्वरको मन्दिरमा त्योप्रति शत्रुता छ ।
9 They have gone deep — have done corruptly, As [in] the days of Gibeah, He doth remember their iniquity, He doth inspect their sins.
गिबाका दिनहरूमा झैं, तिनीहरूले आफैंलाई भित्री रूपमा भ्रष्ट पारेका छन् । तिनीहरूको अधर्म परमेश्वरले सम्झना गर्नुहुनेछ र उहाँले तिनीहरूका पापको दण्ड दिनुहुनेछ ।
10 As grapes in a wilderness I found Israel, As the first-fruit in a fig-tree, at its beginning, I have seen your fathers, They — they have gone in [to] Baal-Peor, And are separated to a shameful thing, And are become abominable like their love.
परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ, “मैले इस्राएललाई भेट्टाउँदा, त्यो उजाड-स्थानमा दाख पाएको जस्तै थियो । नेभाराको बोटमा ऋतुको पहिलो फलझैं, मैले तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरूलाई भेट्टाएँ । तर तिनीहरू बाल-पोरमा गए, र तिनीहरूले आफैंलाई त्यस लज्जास्पद मूर्तिकहाँ अर्पण गरे । तिनीहरूले प्रेम गर्ने मूर्तिहरूझैं तिनीहरू पनि घृणित भए ।
11 Ephraim [is] as a fowl, Fly away doth their honour, without birth, And without womb, and without conception.
एफ्राइमको बारेमाचाहिं, तिनीहरूको महिमा चराझैं उडिजानेछ । त्यहाँ कुनै जन्म, कुनै गर्ववास, र कुनै गर्भधारण हुनेछैन ।
12 For though they nourish their sons, I have made them childless — without man, Surely also, woe to them, when I turn aside from them.
तिनीहरूले छोराछोरीलाई हुर्काएको भए पनि, एउटै पनि बाँकी नरहने गरी म तिनीहरूलाई लैजानेछु । तिनीहरूबाट म फर्कँदा, तिनीहरूलाई धिक्कार होस् ।
13 Ephraim! when I have looked to the rock, Is planted in comeliness, And Ephraim [is] to bring out unto a slayer his sons.
मैले एफ्राइमलाई टुरोसजस्तै सुन्दर मैदानमा रोपिएको देखेको छु, तर एफ्राइमले आफ्ना छोराछोरीलाई त्यसकहाँ लानेछ, जसले तिनीहरूको हत्या गर्नेछ ।”
14 Give to them, Jehovah — what dost Thou give? Give to them miscarrying womb, and dry breasts.
हे परमप्रभु, तिनीहरूलाई दिनुहोस्— तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई के दिनुहुन्छ? तिनीहरूलाई तुहिने गर्भ र दूध नआउने स्तन दिनुहोस् ।
15 All their evil [is] in Gilgal, Surely there I have hated them, Because of the evil of their doings, Out of My house I do drive them, I add not to love them, all their heads [are] apostates.
“तिनीहरूले गिलगालमा गरेका सबै दुष्टताका कारणले, तिनीहरूलाई मैले त्यहाँ घृणा गर्न सुरु गरें । तिनीहरूका पापी कामहरूका कारणले, मेरो मन्दिरबाट म तिनीहरूलाई धपाउनेछु । म तिनीहरूलाई फेरि प्रेम गर्नेछैनँ । तिनीहरूका सबै अधिकारीहरू विद्रोहीहरू हुन् ।
16 Ephraim hath been smitten, Their root hath dried up, fruit they yield not, Yea, though they bring forth, I have put to death the desired of their womb.
एफ्राइम रोगले ग्रस्त भएको छ, र तिनीहरूको जरा सुकेका छ । तिनीहरूले फल दिंदैनन् । तिनीहरूका छोराछोरी भए पनि, तिनीहरूका अति प्रिय छोराछोरीलाई म मार्नेछु ।”
17 Reject them doth my God, Because they have not hearkened to Him, And they are wanderers among nations!
मेरा परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई इन्कार गर्नुहुन्छ किनभने तिनीहरूले उहाँको आज्ञा मानेका छैनन् । जातिहरूका बिचमा तिनीहरू फिरन्तेहरू हुनेछन् ।
