Hosea 13
1 When Ephraim speaketh tremblingly, He hath been lifted up in Israel, When he becometh guilty in Baal he dieth.
like/as to speak: speak Ephraim trembling to lift: exalt he/she/it in/on/with Israel and be guilty in/on/with Baal and to die
2 And now do they add to sin, And make to them a molten image of their silver, By their own understanding — idols, A work of artisans — all of it, Of them they say, who [are] sacrificers among men, 'The calves let them kiss.'
and now to add to/for to sin and to make to/for them liquid from silver: money their like/as understanding their idol deed: work artificer all his to/for them they(masc.) to say to sacrifice man calf to kiss [emph?]
3 Therefore they are as a cloud of the morning, And as dew, rising early, going away, As chaff tossed about out of a floor, And as smoke out of a window.
to/for so to be like/as cloud morning and like/as dew to rise to go: went like/as chaff to rage from threshing floor and like/as smoke from window
4 And I [am] Jehovah thy God from the land of Egypt, And a God besides Me thou dost not know, And a Saviour — there is none save Me.
and I LORD God your from land: country/planet Egypt and God exception me not to know and to save nothing lest me
5 I — I have known thee in a wilderness, In a land of droughts.
I to know you in/on/with wilderness in/on/with land: country/planet drought
6 According to their feedings they are satiated, They have been satiated, And their heart is lifted up, Therefore they have forgotten Me,
like/as pasturing their and to satisfy to satisfy and to exalt heart their upon so to forget me
7 And I am to them as a lion, As a leopard by the way I look out.
and to be to/for them like lion like/as leopard upon way: journey to see
8 I do meet them as a bereaved bear, And I rend the enclosure of their heart.
to meet them like/as bear childless and to tear enclosure heart their and to eat them there like/as lion living thing [the] land: wildlife to break up/open them
9 And I consume them there as a lioness, A beast of the field doth rend them.
to ruin you Israel for in/on/with me in/on/with helper your
10 Thou hast destroyed thyself, O Israel, But in Me [is] thy help, Where [is] thy king now — And he doth save thee in all thy cities? And thy judges of whom thou didst say, 'Give to me a king and heads?'
where? king your then and to save you in/on/with all city your and to judge you which to say to give: give [emph?] to/for me king and ruler
11 I give to thee a king in Mine anger, And I take away in My wrath.
to give: give to/for you king in/on/with face: anger my and to take: take in/on/with fury my
12 Bound up [is] the iniquity of Ephraim, Hidden [is] his sin,
to constrain iniquity: crime Ephraim to treasure sin his
13 Pangs of a travailing woman come to him, He [is] a son not wise, For he remaineth not the time for the breaking forth of sons.
pain to beget to come (in): come to/for him he/she/it son: child not wise for time not to stand: stand in/on/with birth son: child
14 From the hand of Sheol I do ransom them, From death I redeem them, Where [is] thy plague, O death? Where thy destruction, O Sheol? Repentance is hid from Mine eyes. (Sheol h7585)

15 Though he among brethren produceth fruit, Come in doth an east wind, a wind of Jehovah, From a wilderness it is coming up, And it drieth up his fountain, And become dry doth his spring, It — it spoileth a treasure — every desirable vessel.
for he/she/it son: descendant/people brother: male-sibling be fruitful to come (in): come east spirit: breath LORD from wilderness to ascend: rise and to wither fountain his and to dry spring his he/she/it to plunder treasure all article/utensil desire
16 Become desolate doth Samaria, Because she hath rebelled against her God, By sword they do fall, Their sucklings are dashed in pieces, And its pregnant ones are ripped up!
be guilty Samaria for to rebel in/on/with God her in/on/with sword to fall: kill infant their to dash in pieces and pregnant his to break up/open
