Hebrews 8

1 And the sum concerning the things spoken of [is]: we have such a chief priest, who did sit down at the right hand of the throne of the greatness in the heavens,

กถฺยมานานำ วากฺยานำ สาโร'ยมฺ อสฺมากมฺ เอตาทฺฤศ เอโก มหายาชโก'สฺติ ย: สฺวรฺเค มหามหิมฺน: สึหาสนสฺย ทกฺษิณปารฺโศฺว สมุปวิษฺฏวานฺ

2 of the holy places a servant, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord did set up, and not man,

ยจฺจ ทูษฺยํ น มนุไช: กินฺตฺวีศฺวเรณ สฺถาปิตํ ตสฺย สตฺยทูษฺยสฺย ปวิตฺรวสฺตูนาญฺจ เสวก: ส ภวติฯ

3 for every chief priest to offer both gifts and sacrifices is appointed, whence [it is] necessary for this one to have also something that he may offer;

ยต เอไกโก มหายาชโก ไนเวทฺยานำ พลีนาญฺจ ทาเน นิยุชฺยเต, อโต เหโตเรตสฺยาปิ กิญฺจิทฺ อุตฺสรฺชนียํ วิทฺยต อิตฺยาวศฺยกํฯ

4 for if, indeed, he were upon earth, he would not be a priest — (there being the priests who are offering according to the law, the gifts,

กิญฺจ ส ยทิ ปฺฤถิวฺยามฺ อสฺถาสฺยตฺ ตรฺหิ ยาชโก นาภวิษฺยตฺ, ยโต เย วฺยวสฺถานุสาราตฺ ไนเวทฺยานิ ททเตฺยตาทฺฤศา ยาชกา วิทฺยนฺเตฯ

5 who unto an example and shadow do serve of the heavenly things, as Moses hath been divinely warned, being about to construct the tabernacle, for 'See (saith He) thou mayest make all things according to the pattern that was shewn to thee in the mount;') —

เต ตุ สฺวรฺคียวสฺตูนำ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺเตน ฉายยา จ เสวามนุติษฺฐนฺติ ยโต มูสสิ ทูษฺยํ สาธยิตุมฺ อุทฺยเต สตีศฺวรสฺตเทว ตมาทิษฺฏวานฺ ผลต: ส ตมุกฺตวานฺ, ยถา, "อวเธหิ คิเรา ตฺวำ ยทฺยนฺนิทรฺศนํ ทรฺศิตํ ตทฺวตฺ สรฺวฺวาณิ ตฺวยา กฺริยนฺตำฯ "

6 and now he hath obtained a more excellent service, how much also of a better covenant is he mediator, which on better promises hath been sanctioned,

กินฺตฺวิทานีมฺ อเสา ตสฺมาตฺ เศฺรษฺฐํ เสวกปทํ ปฺราปฺตวานฺ ยต: ส เศฺรษฺฐปฺรติชฺญาภิ: สฺถาปิตสฺย เศฺรษฺฐนิยมสฺย มธฺยโสฺถ'ภวตฺฯ

7 for if that first were faultless, a place would not have been sought for a second.

ส ปฺรถโม นิยโม ยทิ นิรฺทฺโทโษ'ภวิษฺยต ตรฺหิ ทฺวิตียสฺย นิยมสฺย กิมปิ ปฺรโยชนํ นาภวิษฺยตฺฯ

8 For finding fault, He saith to them, 'Lo, days come, saith the Lord, and I will complete with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah, a new covenant,

กินฺตุ ส โทษมาโรปยนฺ เตภฺย: กถยติ, ยถา, "ปรเมศฺวร อิทํ ภาษเต ปศฺย ยสฺมินฺ สมเย'หมฺ อิสฺราเยลวํเศน ยิหูทาวํเศน จ สารฺทฺธมฺ เอกํ นวีนํ นิยมํ สฺถิรีกริษฺยาเมฺยตาทฺฤศ: สมย อายาติฯ

9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day of My taking [them] by their hand, to bring them out of the land of Egypt — because they did not remain in My covenant, and I did not regard them, saith the Lord, —

ปรเมศฺวโร'ปรมปิ กถยติ เตษำ ปูรฺวฺวปุรุษาณำ มิสรเทศาทฺ อานยนารฺถํ ยสฺมินฺ ทิเน'หํ เตษำ กรํ ธฺฤตฺวา ไต: สห นิยมํ สฺถิรีกฺฤตวานฺ ตทฺทินสฺย นิยมานุสาเรณ นหิ ยตไสฺต รฺมม นิยเม ลงฺฆิเต'หํ ตานฺ ปฺรติ จินฺตำ นากรวํฯ

10 because this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and upon their hearts I will write them, and I will be to them for a God, and they shall be to Me for a people;

กินฺตุ ปรเมศฺวร: กถยติ ตทฺทินาตฺ ปรมหํ อิสฺราเยลวํศีไย: สารฺทฺธมฺ อิมํ นิยมํ สฺถิรีกริษฺยามิ, เตษำ จิตฺเต มม วิธีนฺ สฺถาปยิษฺยามิ เตษำ หฺฤตฺปเตฺร จ ตานฺ เลขิษฺยามิ, อปรมหํ เตษามฺ อีศฺวโร ภวิษฺยามิ เต จ มม โลกา ภวิษฺยนฺติฯ

11 and they shall not teach each his neighbour, and each his brother, saying, Know thou the Lord, because they shall all know Me from the small one of them unto the great one of them,

อปรํ ตฺวํ ปรเมศฺวรํ ชานีหีติวาเกฺยน เตษาเมไกโก ชน: สฺวํ สฺวํ สมีปวาสินํ ภฺราตรญฺจ ปุน รฺน ศิกฺษยิษฺยติ ยต อากฺษุทฺราตฺ มหานฺตํ ยาวตฺ สรฺเวฺว มำ ชฺญาสฺยนฺติฯ

12 because I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will remember no more;' —

ยโต เหโตรหํ เตษามฺ อธรฺมฺมานฺ กฺษมิเษฺย เตษำ ปาปานฺยปราธำศฺจ ปุน: กทาปิ น สฺมริษฺยามิฯ "

13 in the saying 'new,' He hath made the first old, and what doth become obsolete and is old [is] nigh disappearing.

อเนน ตํ นิยมํ นูตนํ คทิตฺวา ส ปฺรถมํ นิยมํ ปุราตนีกฺฤตวานฺ; ยจฺจ ปุราตนํ ชีรฺณาญฺจ ชาตํ ตสฺย โลโป นิกโฏ 'ภวตฺฯ
