< Hebrews 6 >

1 Wherefore, having left the word of the beginning of the Christ, unto the perfection we may advance, not again a foundation laying of reformation from dead works, and of faith on God,
Kuom mano koro waweuru puonj michakogo ngʼeyo wach Kristo, to wadhiuru nyime mondo wadok joma otegno. Ok owinjore mondo wachak puonjou manyien weche michakogo bedo ja-Kristo, kaka lokruok weyo timbe matero ji e tho to gi yie kuom Nyasaye;
2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on also of hands, of rising again also of the dead, and of judgment age-during, (aiōnios g166)
kod puonj kuom kit batiso mopogore opogore, kata kuom keto lwedo ewi ji, kata kuom wach chier aa kuom joma otho, kata kuom bura mabiro. (aiōnios g166)
3 and this we will do, if God may permit,
To wabiro timo kamano, ka Nyasaye oyie.
4 for [it is] impossible for those once enlightened, having tasted also of the heavenly gift, and partakers having became of the Holy Spirit,
Nikech jomaler mar Nyasaye oserienynegi mi obilo mich mar polo kendo obedo e lalruok achiel gi Roho Maler;
5 and did taste the good saying of God, the powers also of the coming age, (aiōn g165)
joma osebilo ber mar Wach Nyasaye, mi ongʼeyo teko mar piny mabiro, (aiōn g165)
6 and having fallen away, again to renew [them] to reformation, having crucified again to themselves the Son of God, and exposed to public shame.
kopodho moweyo yie margi, to ok nyal konygi mi gilokre kendo, nikech gikelo chandruok kuomgi giwegi kuom guro Wuod Nyasaye e msalaba nyadiriyo, ka gimiyo ji chaye ratiro.
7 For earth, that is drinking in the rain many times coming upon it, and is bringing forth herbs fit for those because of whom also it is dressed, doth partake of blessing from God,
Lowo ma mwonyo pi koth mochwe kuome kendo machiego cham manyalo konyo joma opure, ema yudo gweth Nyasaye.
8 and that which is bearing thorns and briers [is] disapproved of, and nigh to cursing, whose end [is] for burning;
To ka bangʼ yudo koth maber to ochiego mana kuthe gi buya to oonge tich, kendo ochiegni yudo kwongʼ. Giko ibiro wangʼe e mach.
9 and we are persuaded, concerning you, beloved, the things that are better, and accompanying salvation, though even thus we speak,
Kata wawuoyo kama, osiepewa mwageno, to wan gi gigeno kuomu kuom gik mabeyo moloyo, ma gin olembe mabeyo ma warruok nyago.
10 for God is not unrighteous to forget your work, and the labour of the love, that ye shewed to His name, having ministered to the saints and ministering;
Nyasaye en ja-adiera, omiyo wiye ok nyal wil gi tich maru kaachiel gihera musenyiso kukonyo joge, kendo ma pod udhi nyime kutimo.
11 and we desire each one of you the same diligence to shew, unto the full assurance of the hope unto the end,
Wadwaro ni ngʼato ka ngʼato kuomu odhi nyime katimo maber nyaka giko, eka ubed gi ratiro mar yudo gik mugeno yudo.
12 that ye may not become slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patient endurance are inheriting the promises.
Ok wadwar ni ubed jo-samuoyo to wadwaro ni ulu kit joma yudo gik mosingi nikech giyie kendo gitimo kinda.
13 For to Abraham God, having made promise, seeing He was able to swear by no greater, did swear by Himself,
Ka Nyasaye notimo singruok gi Ibrahim to nokwongʼore gi nyinge owuon, nikech ne onge ngʼat maduongʼ mohinge monyalo kwongʼore gi nyinge,
14 saying, 'Blessing indeed I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee;'
nowacho niya, “Abiro gwedhi adier, kendo abiro miyi nyikwayo mangʼeny.”
15 and so, having patiently endured, he did obtain the promise;
Omiyo bangʼe Ibrahim noyudo gima Nyasaye nosingore ni nomiye bangʼ rito gi kinda.
16 for men indeed do swear by the greater, and an end of all controversy to them for confirmation [is] the oath,
Joma timo singruok kwongʼore gi nying joma oloyogi gi duongʼ, kendo kwongʼruok ma gitimo golo kiawa moro amora e kind joma otimo winjruokgo.
17 in which God, more abundantly willing to shew to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, did interpose by an oath,
Emomiyo ka Nyasaye ne dwaro lero tiend chenroge ma ok lokre ne joma yudo gweth mag singruok mage, noguro singruokneno gi kwongʼruok.
18 that through two immutable things, in which [it is] impossible for God to lie, a strong comfort we may have who did flee for refuge to lay hold on the hope set before [us],
Notimo kamano mondo, kuom gik moko ariyo, tiende ni singruok gi kwongʼruok, ma ok nyal lokore kendo ma ok nyal miyo Nyasaye bet ja-miriambo, wayud gweth mogundho, wan mwasetony koro wayudo jip motegno kwamako geno ma wan-go matek.
19 which we have, as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and entering into that within the vail,
Genowano osiro chunywa ka loch mogur motegno ma ok yiengni kendo ma gimoro ok nyal donje mi kethi. Odonjo nyaka ei kama ler mar lemo manie tok pasia,
20 whither a forerunner for us did enter — Jesus, after the order of Melchisedek chief priest having become — to the age. (aiōn g165)
kama Yesu ma nosetelonwa nosedonjoe. Osedoko jadolo maduongʼ manyaka chiengʼ, koluwo kit dolo mar Melkizedek. (aiōn g165)
