< Hebrews 10 >

1 For the law having a shadow of the coming good things — not the very image of the matters, every year, by the same sacrifices that they offer continually, is never able to make perfect those coming near,
Judahea Thum hin akcang lupjawnga phäh sitih lü kümbekia am kya; akdaw, am ngsingkie pha law khaia lupjawnga ni a kya. Ahina ngkengnake cun akum tä angläta petmsawt yah ni. Ahina ngkengnak üngkhyüh ihawkba Thum naw Pamhnama vei lawkia khyange cun jah kümceisak khai ni?
2 since, would they not have ceased to be offered, because of those serving having no more conscience of sins, having once been purified?
Pamhnam hjawkhahkia khyangea ami mkhyekatnak üngkhyüh a jah mcimmcaih üng mkhyekatnak am ksing u lü ngkengnak ami pawh pi hawih khaie ni.
3 but in those [sacrifices] is a remembrance of sins every year,
Lüpi ahina ngkengnak akum tä pawh hin naw khyangea ami mkhye jah sümsaki ni.
4 for it is impossible for blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Mee ja seea thi naw mkhyenak am lola thei.
5 Wherefore, coming into the world, he saith, 'Sacrifice and offering Thou didst not will, and a body Thou didst prepare for me,
Ahina phäh Khritaw khawmdeka a law hnüh vai üng, ani naw Pamhnama veia: “Ngkengnak ja petmsawtnak am jah hlüei lü keia phäh pumsa na na pyan pet.
6 in burnt-offerings, and concerning sin-offerings, Thou didst not delight,
Khyüksei mei am kphyawnkunga khana avan mkhih ja mkhyenake lola khaia ngkengnak am na mlung am je.
7 then I said, Lo, I come, (in a volume of the book it hath been written concerning me, ) to do, O God, Thy will;'
Acuna kyase, kei naw, ‘na hlüei pawh khaia, hia ka veki, aw Pamhnam, Thum caup üng keia mawng ang’yuka mäia ni’” a ti.
8 saying above — 'Sacrifice, and offering, and burnt-offerings, and concerning sin-offering Thou didst not will, nor delight in,' — which according to the law are offered —
Akcüka, “Nang cun khisae ngkengnak, mkhihnak ja mkhye cehpüikia ngkhaw üng am jeki lü am hlüeiki,” a ti. Ahine cun thuma tia kba ngkengnak cun pawh ni a ti.
9 then he said, 'Lo, I come to do, O God, Thy will;' he doth take away the first that the second he may establish;
Acunüng ani naw, “Na hlüei ka pawh khaia, hia ka veki.” Acuna kyase, Pamhnam naw ngkengnak akphyüm jah hawih lü Khritawa ngkengnak acunea hnün üng a pawh ni.
10 in the which will we are having been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once,
Isetiakyaküng, Pamhnama pawh hlüsak cun Jesuh Khritaw naw pawh lü amät kunga mtisa cun ahun däk pe lü anglät vaia petmsawt naw mi mkhyekatnak üngkhyüh jah mcimcaihki.
11 and every priest, indeed, hath stood daily serving, and the same sacrifices many times offering, that are never able to take away sins.
Judah ktaiyü naküt naw amhnüp tä khüi u lü ami ngkengnak kung cun khawvei pawhkie lüpi ahina ngkengnake naw mkhye am lola thei u.
12 And He, for sin one sacrifice having offered — to the end, did sit down on the right hand of God, —
Khritaw naw mkhyea phäh ahun ngkengnak a pawh cun naw angläta cäng lü Pamhnama khet da ngawki ni.
13 as to the rest, expecting till He may place his enemies [as] his footstool,
Ania khaw kea a yee am a jah tak veia acua ani naw k'äihki.
14 for by one offering he hath perfected to the end those sanctified;
Ngkengnak ahun pawh lü mkhyenak üngkhyüh a jah ngcimsakea phäh angläta kümbekia a pawh ni.
15 and testify to us also doth the Holy Spirit, for after that He hath said before,
Ngmüimkhya Ngcim naw pi mimi üng a saksi jah peki ni. Akcüka ani naw a pyen ta,
16 'This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, giving My laws on their hearts, and upon their minds I will write them,'
“Ahin hin law khaia mhnüpe üng ka pawh vaia ngthumkhän ni tia Bawipa naw, ami mlung k'uma ka thume ka jah ta lü ami mlunga khana ka jah yuk khai,” a ti.
17 and 'their sins and their lawlessness I will remember no more;'
Acun käna ani naw, “Ami mkhyee ja akse ami pawhe cun kei naw käh ka jah süm ti khai,” a ti.
18 and where forgiveness of these [is], there is no more offering for sin.
Ahine phäh mkhye mhlätnak pawh käna mkhyea phäh ngkengnak pawh vai am hlü ti ve.
19 Having, therefore, brethren, boldness for the entrance into the holy places, in the blood of Jesus,
Ka püie aw Jesuh a thiha phäh Angcimnak Säiha Hnün cu akcün tä cit lü ng’yahki.
20 which way he did initiate for us — new and living, through the vail, that is, his flesh —
Ani naw lam kthai, xüngkia lam cun kalakaa kyaki amäta pumsa üngkhyüh a nghmawn ni.
21 and a high priest over the house of God,
Pamhnama ima khut biki ktaiyü ngvai mi taki.
22 may we draw near with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, having the hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having the body bathed with pure water;
Acuna kyase tui am mthiha pumsa ja mkhye cungaihnak üngkhyüh ngcimsaka mlung he am jumnak cang ja mlung a ve akba Pamhnama veia mi cäh law vai u.
23 may we hold fast the unwavering profession of the hope, (for faithful [is] He who did promise),
Mi pyena äpeinak cun mi kcüng kyet vai u, isetiakyaküng, a khyütam ngkhängsakia Pamhnam mi ümnakie ni.
24 and may we consider one another to provoke to love and to good works,
Akdaw pawh lü mhlänak mdan vaia mat ja mat mi kuei lü mat ja mat mi bükteng vai u.
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as a custom of certain [is], but exhorting, and so much the more as ye see the day coming nigh.
Avang he naw ami pawha kba atänga ngkhämeinak cun käh mi hjak vai u. Bawipaa Mhnüp sa lü cäh lawkia kyase mat ja mat ktha mi pe vai u.
26 For we — wilfully sinning after the receiving the full knowledge of the truth — no more for sins doth there remain a sacrifice,
Ngthungtak mi veia a ngdan law käna mkhye khaia mi ngtüneia kyak üng mkhye lo khaia ngkengnak vai am ve ti.
27 but a certain fearful looking for of judgment, and fiery zeal, about to devour the opposers;
Acuna hnün üng, ve hütki naküt naw Pamhnam kpetmjakie jah mkhyüh khai mei kdäi ja pha law khaia ngthumkhyahnak cun cäicingnak üng k'äih khaie.
28 any one who did set at nought a law of Moses, apart from mercies, by two or three witnesses, doth die,
Saksi nghngih ja acuna kthaka nungki naw a mkhye veki tia ami pyen üng Mosia Thum am läki au pi käh mpyenei lü ami hnim yah ni.
29 of how much sorer punishment shall he be counted worthy who the Son of God did trample on, and the blood of the covenant did count a common thing, in which he was sanctified, and to the Spirit of the grace did despite?
Pamhnama Cakpa mdihsuikie ta i hlawk awng vai ni. Mkhyenak üngkhyüh jah mcimkia ngthumkhäna kyaki Pamhnama thisen akjäa ngaiki cun i hlawk vai ni. Ngmüimkhyaa bäkhäknak hmumsitki pi i hlawk vai ni. Ami yah ngkäih vai khuikhanak sehlen khai ti cun ngai süm ua.
30 for we have known Him who is saying, 'Vengeance [is] Mine, I will recompense, saith the Lord;' and again, 'The Lord shall judge His people;' —
A pyen mi ksing ta, “Kei naw ka thung be lü ka khih be khai”; a pyen be tü ta, “Bawipa naw a khyange ngthu jah mkhyah khai,” a ti ni.
31 fearful [is] the falling into the hands of a living God.
Xüngseiki Pamhnama kut k'uma kyukngtä vai cun kyühse ve!
32 And call to your remembrance the former days, in which, having been enlightened, ye did endure much conflict of sufferings,
Nami khe lawa kcün üng ihawkba nami veki ti cun süm ua. Ahlana nami khana Pamhnama kvai avai law käna khuikhanak khawhah nami sawngki lüpi khuikhanak naw am ning jah näng.
33 partly both with reproaches and tribulations being made spectacles, and partly having become partners of those so living,
Nangmi cun khyang ksunga ning jah hmumsit u lü akdawa am ning jah vepüi u. Ahikba kunga vecawh püiea tuilam cun üng nami ngpüi hngakie ni.
34 for also with my bonds ye sympathised, and the robbery of your goods with joy ye did receive, knowing that ye have in yourselves a better substance in the heavens, and an enduring one.
Thawng kyumea khuikhanak nami jah yümeipüiki. Nami khawh naküt mkhäm u lü nami mkhyüh üngpi nami jekie. Isetiakyaküng, acuna kthaka daw bawki angläta ngkhängki nami taki ti cun nami ksing ua phäh ni.
35 Ye may not cast away, then, your boldness, which hath great recompense of reward,
Ktha käh ngcek ua, isetiakyaküng, acun naw akdäm ngkhyengnak law püi khai ni.
36 for of patience ye have need, that the will of God having done, ye may receive the promise,
A khyütame yah lü Pamhnama hlükawei nami pawh vaia phäha nami mlung asaü vai hlüki ni.
37 for yet a very very little, He who is coming will come, and will not tarry;
Cangcim naw, “Asängca hjo lü, law khai kung cun law khai; i am cü khai ni,
38 and 'the righteous by faith shall live,' and 'if he may draw back, My soul hath no pleasure in him,'
lüpi ngsungpyunkia ka khyange naw jum u lü xüng khaie; lüpi mat mat hnu da ami nghlat be üngta, Kei am ka je khai ni.”
39 and we are not of those drawing back to destruction, but of those believing to a preserving of soul.
Mimi cun hnu da nghlat be lü khyükia khyanga am mi kya. Acuna hnün üng, mimi cun jumeinak mi ta lü küikyannak mi yahkie ni.
