Genesis 7
1 And Jehovah saith to Noah, 'Come in, thou and all thy house, unto the ark, for thee I have seen righteous before Me in this generation;
Dann sagte der HERR zu Noah: »Gehe du mit deiner ganzen Familie in die Arche, denn dich habe ich als gerecht vor mir erfunden unter diesem Geschlecht.
2 of all the clean beasts thou dost take to thee seven pairs, a male and its female; and of the beasts which are not clean two, a male and its female;
Von allen reinen Tieren nimm je sieben Paare zu dir, immer ein Männchen und sein Weibchen, aber von den unreinen Tieren nur je zwei Stück, ein Männchen und sein Weibchen;
3 also, of fowl of the heavens seven pairs, a male and a female, to keep alive seed on the face of all the earth;
auch von den Vögeln des Himmels je sieben Paare, Männchen und Weibchen, damit Nachkommenschaft auf der ganzen Erde am Leben erhalten bleibt;
4 for after other seven days I am sending rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and have wiped away all the substance that I have made from off the face of the ground.'
denn es sind nur noch sieben Tage, dann will ich es vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte hindurch auf die Erde regnen lassen und will den ganzen Bestand an Lebewesen, die ich geschaffen habe, vom ganzen Erdboden vertilgen.«
5 And Noah doth according to all that Jehovah hath commanded him:
Da tat Noah alles genau so, wie der HERR es ihm geboten hatte.
6 and Noah [is] a son of six hundred years, and the deluge of waters hath been upon the earth.
Noah war aber sechshundert Jahre alt, als die Sintflut über die Erde kam.
7 And Noah goeth in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, unto the ark, from the presence of the waters of the deluge;
Da ging Noah und mit ihm seine Söhne, sein Weib und seine Schwiegertöchter in die Arche hinein vor den Gewässern der Sintflut.
8 of the clean beasts and of the beasts that [are] not clean, and of the fowl, and of every thing that is creeping upon the ground,
Von den reinen und von den unreinen Vierfüßlern sowie von den Vögeln und von allem, was auf dem Erdboden kriecht,
9 two by two they have come in unto Noah, unto the ark, a male and a female, as God hath commanded Noah.
kamen immer zwei, ein Männchen und ein Weibchen, zu Noah in die Arche hinein, wie Gott ihm geboten hatte.
10 And it cometh to pass, after the seventh of the days, that waters of the deluge have been on the earth.
Und nach Ablauf der sieben Tage, da kamen die Gewässer der Sintflut über die Erde.
11 In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, in this day have been broken up all fountains of the great deep, and the net-work of the heavens hath been opened,
Es war im sechshundertsten Lebensjahre Noahs, am siebzehnten Tage des zweiten Monats: an diesem Tage brachen alle Quellen der großen Tiefe auf, und die Fenster des Himmels öffneten sich,
12 and the shower is on the earth forty days and forty nights.
und der Regen strömte vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte hindurch auf die Erde.
13 In this self-same day went in Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them, unto the ark;
An eben diesem Tage ging Noah mit seinen Söhnen Sem, Ham und Japheth und mit seinem Weibe und seinen drei Schwiegertöchtern in die Arche hinein,
14 they, and every living creature after its kind, and every beast after its kind, and every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth after its kind, and every fowl after its kind, every bird — every wing.
sie und alle Arten der wilden Tiere und alle Arten des Viehs und alle Arten des Gewürms, das auf der Erde kriecht, auch alle Arten der Vögel, alles, was Flügel hatte und beschwingt war;
15 And they come in unto Noah, unto the ark, two by two of all the flesh in which [is] a living spirit;
die kamen zu Noah in die Arche hinein, je ein Paar von allen Geschöpfen, die Lebensodem in sich hatten;
16 and they that are coming in, male and female of all flesh, have come in as God hath commanded him, and Jehovah doth close [it] for him.
und die da hineinkamen, waren immer ein Männchen und ein Weibchen von allem Fleische, wie Gott ihm geboten hatte. Hierauf schloß der HERR hinter ihm zu.
17 And the deluge is forty days on the earth, and the waters multiply, and lift up the ark, and it is raised up from off the earth;
Da kam die Sintflut vierzig Tage lang über die Erde, und das Wasser stieg und hob die Arche empor, so daß sie hoch über der Erde schwamm.
18 and the waters are mighty, and multiply exceedingly upon the earth; and the ark goeth on the face of the waters.
Und das Wasser nahm gewaltig zu und stieg hoch über der Erde, so daß die Arche auf der weiten Flut dahinfuhr.
19 And the waters have been very very mighty on the earth, and covered are all the high mountains which [are] under the whole heavens;
Und das Wasser stieg immer noch höher über der Erde, so daß alle höchsten Berge, die unter dem ganzen Himmel sind, überflutet wurden.
20 fifteen cubits upwards have the waters become mighty, and the mountains are covered;
Fünfzehn Ellen hoch ging das Wasser über sie hin, so daß die Berge überflutet wurden.
21 and expire doth all flesh that is moving on the earth, among fowl, and among cattle, and among beasts, and among all the teeming things which are teeming on the earth, and all mankind;
Damals kamen alle Geschöpfe um, die auf der Erde sich regten: was an Vögeln, an Vieh und an wilden Tieren da war, sowie alles Gewürm, von dem die Erde wimmelte, und auch alle Menschen:
22 all in whose nostrils [is] breath of a living spirit — of all that [is] in the dry land — have died.
alles, in dessen Nase ein Hauch von Lebensodem war, das starb, alles, soweit es auf dem Trockenen lebte.
23 And wiped away is all the substance that is on the face of the ground, from man unto beast, unto creeping thing, and unto fowl of the heavens; yea, they are wiped away from the earth, and only Noah is left, and those who [are] with him in the ark;
So vertilgte Gott alle Geschöpfe, die auf dem ganzen Erdboden waren, vom Menschen bis zum Vieh, bis zum Gewürm und bis zu den Vögeln des Himmels: sie wurden alle von der Erde vertilgt; nur Noah blieb übrig und was sich bei ihm in der Arche befand.
24 and the waters are mighty on the earth a hundred and fifty days.
Das Wasser aber stieg unaufhörlich über der Erde hundertundfünfzig Tage lang.
