Genesis 49

1 And Jacob calleth unto his sons and saith, 'Be gathered together, and I declare to you that which doth happen with you in the latter end of the days.

௧யாக்கோபு தன் மகன்களை அழைத்து: “நீங்கள் கூடிவாருங்கள், கடைசி நாட்களில் உங்களுக்குச் சம்பவிக்கும் காரியங்களை அறிவிப்பேன்.

2 'Be assembled, and hear, sons of Jacob, And hearken unto Israel your father.

௨யாக்கோபின் மகன்களே, கூடிவந்து கேளுங்கள்; உங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்”.

3 Reuben! my first-born thou, My power, and beginning of my strength, The abundance of exaltation, And the abundance of strength;

௩“ரூபனே, நீ என் முதற்பிறந்தவன்; நீ என் திறமையும், என் முதற்பெலனுமானவன்; நீ மேன்மையில் பிரதானமும் வல்லமையில் விசேஷமுமானவன்.

4 Unstable as water, thou art not abundant; For thou hast gone up thy father's bed; Then thou hast polluted: My couch he went up!

௪தண்ணீரைப்போல தளம்பினவனே, நீ மேன்மை அடையமாட்டாய்; உன் தகப்பனுடைய படுக்கையின்மேல் ஏறினாய்; நீ அதைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினாய்; என் படுக்கையின்மேல் ஏறினானே.

5 Simeon and Levi [are] brethren! Instruments of violence — their espousals!

௫சிமியோனும், லேவியும் சகோதரர்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பட்டயங்கள் கொடுமையின் கருவிகள்.

6 Into their secret, come not, O my soul! Unto their assembly be not united, O mine honour; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will eradicated a prince.

௬என் ஆத்துமாவே, அவர்களுடைய இரகசிய ஆலோசனைக்கு உடன்படாதே; என் மேன்மையே, அவர்கள் கூட்டத்தில் நீ சேராதே; அவர்கள் தங்கள் கோபத்தினாலே ஒரு மனிதனைக் கொன்று, தங்கள் அகங்காரத்தினாலே அரண்களை அழித்தார்களே.

7 Cursed [is] their anger, for [it is] fierce, And their wrath, for [it is] sharp; I divide them in Jacob, And I scatter them in Israel.

௭அவர்களுடைய கடுமையான கோபமும், கொடுமையான மூர்க்கமும் சபிக்கப்படுவதாக; யாக்கோபிலே அவர்களைப் பிரியவும், இஸ்ரவேலிலே அவர்களைச் சிதறவும் செய்வேன்.

8 Judah! thou — thy brethren praise thee! Thy hand [is] on the neck of thine enemies, Sons of thy father bow themselves to thee.

௮யூதாவே, சகோதரர்களால் புகழப்படுபவன் நீயே; உன் கை உன் எதிரிகளுடைய கழுத்தின்மேல் இருக்கும்; உன் தகப்பனுடைய மகன்கள் உன்னைப் பணிவார்கள்.

9 A lion's whelp [is] Judah, For prey, my son, thou hast gone up; He hath bent, he hath crouched as a lion, And as a lioness; who causeth him to arise?

௯யூதா பெரிய சிங்கம், நீ இரையை விரும்பி ஏறிப்போனாய்; என் மகனே, சிங்கம்போலும் கிழச்சிங்கம்போலும் மடங்கிப்படுத்தான்; அவனை எழுப்புகிறவன் யார்?

10 The sceptre turneth not aside from Judah, And a lawgiver from between his feet, Till his Seed come; And his [is] the obedience of peoples.

௧0சமாதானக் யெகோவா வரும்வரைக்கும் செங்கோல் யூதாவைவிட்டு நீங்குவதும் இல்லை, ஆளுகை அவனுடைய பாதங்களைவிட்டு ஒழிவதும் இல்லை; மக்கள் அவரிடத்தில் சேருவார்கள்.

11 Binding to the vine his ass, And to the choice vine the colt of his ass, He hath washed in wine his clothing, And in the blood of grapes his covering;

௧௧அவன் தன் கழுதைக்குட்டியைத் திராட்சைச்செடியிலும், தன் பெண்கழுதையின் குட்டியை உயர்தர திராட்சைச்செடியிலும் கட்டுவான்; திராட்சை ரசத்திலே தன் ஆடையையும், திராட்சைப்பழங்களின் இரத்தத்திலே தன் அங்கியையும் வெளுப்பான்.

12 Red [are] eyes with wine, And white [are] teeth with milk!

௧௨அவனுடைய கண்கள் திராட்சைரசத்தினால் சிவப்பாகவும், அவனுடைய பற்கள் பாலினால் வெண்மையாகவும் இருக்கும்.

13 Zebulun at a haven of the seas doth dwell, And he [is] for a haven of ships; And his side [is] unto Zidon.

௧௩செபுலோன் கடற்கரை அருகே குடியிருப்பான்; அவன் கப்பல் துறைமுகமாக இருப்பான்; அவனுடைய எல்லை சீதோன்வரைக்கும் இருக்கும்.

14 Issacher [is] a strong ass, Crouching between the two folds;

௧௪இசக்கார் இரண்டு சுமைகளின் நடுவே படுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிற பலத்த கழுதை.

15 And he seeth rest that [it is] good, And the land that [it is] pleasant, And he inclineth his shoulder to bear, And is to tribute a servant.

௧௫அவன், இளைப்பாறுதல் நல்லது என்றும், நாடு வசதியானது என்றும் கண்டு, சுமக்கிறதற்குத் தன் தோளைச் சாய்த்து, கூலிவேலை செய்கிறவனானான்.

16 Dan doth judge his people, As one of the tribes of Israel;

௧௬தாண் இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களில் ஒரு கோத்திரமாகி, தன் ஜனத்தை நியாயம் விசாரிப்பான்.

17 Dan is a serpent by the way, An adder by the path, Which is biting the horse's heels, And its rider falleth backward.

௧௭தாண், குதிரையின்மேல் ஏறியிருக்கிறவன் மல்லாந்து விழும்படியாக அதின் குதிகாலைக் கடிக்கிறதற்கு வழியில் கிடக்கிற பாம்பைப்போலவும், பாதையில் இருக்கிற விரியனைப்போலவும் இருப்பான்.

18 For Thy salvation I have waited, Jehovah!

௧௮யெகோவாவே, உம்மாலே விடுவிக்கப்படக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.

19 Gad! a troop assaulteth him, But he assaulteth last.

௧௯காத் என்பவன்மேல் ராணுவக்கூட்டம் பாய்ந்துவிழும்; அவனோ முடிவிலே அதின்மேல் பாய்ந்துவிழுவான்.

20 Out of Asher his bread [is] fat; And he giveth dainties of a king.

௨0ஆசேருடைய ஆகாரம் கொழுமையாயிருக்கும்; ராஜாக்களுக்கு வேண்டிய ருசிகரமானவைகளை அவன் தருவான்.

21 Naphtali [is] a hind sent away, Who is giving beauteous young ones.

௨௧நப்தலி விடுதலைபெற்ற பெண்மான்; இன்பமான வசனங்களை வசனிப்பான்.

22 Joseph [is] a fruitful son; A fruitful son by a fountain, Daughters step over the wall;

௨௨யோசேப்பு கனிதரும் செடி; அவன் நீரூற்றின் அருகில் உள்ள கனிதரும் செடி; அதின் கொடிகள் சுவரின்மேல் படரும்.

23 And embitter him — yea, they have striven, Yea, hate him do archers;

௨௩வில்வீரர்கள் அவனை மனவருத்தமாக்கி, அவன்மேல் எய்து, அவனைப் பகைத்தார்கள்.

24 And his bow abideth in strength, And strengthened are the arms of his hands By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, Whence is a shepherd, a son of Israel.

௨௪ஆனாலும், அவனுடைய வில் உறுதியாக நின்றது; அவனுடைய புயங்கள் யாக்கோபுடைய வல்லவரின் கைகளால் பலமடைந்தன; இதினால் அவன் மேய்ப்பனும் இஸ்ரவேலின் கன்மலையும் ஆனான்.

25 By the God of thy father who helpeth thee, And the Mighty One who blesseth thee, Blessings of the heavens from above, Blessings of the deep lying under, Blessings of breasts and womb; —

௨௫உன் தகப்பனுடைய தேவனாலே அப்படியாயிற்று, அவர் உனக்குத் துணையாயிருப்பார்; சர்வவல்லவராலே அப்படியாயிற்று, அவர் உயர வானத்திலிருந்து உண்டாகும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களினாலும், கீழே ஆழத்தில் உண்டாகும் ஆசீர்வாதங்களினாலும், மார்பகங்களுக்கும் கர்ப்பங்களுக்கும் உரிய ஆசீர்வாதங்களினாலும் உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

26 Thy father's blessings have been mighty Above the blessings of my progenitors, Unto the limit of the heights age-during They are for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of the one Separate [from] his brethren.

௨௬உன் தகப்பனுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் என் பிதாக்களுடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களுக்கு மேற்பட்டதாயிருந்து, நித்திய பர்வதங்களின் முடிவுவரைக்கும் எட்டுகின்றன; அவைகள் யோசேப்புடைய தலையின் மேலும், தன் சகோதரர்களில் விசேஷித்தவனுடைய உச்சந்தலையின்மேலும் வருவதாக.

27 Benjamin! a wolf teareth; In the morning he eateth prey, And at evening he apportioneth spoil.'

௨௭பென்யமீன் பீறுகிற ஓநாய்; காலையில் தன் இரையை அழிப்பான், மாலையில் தான் கொள்ளையிட்டதைப் பங்கிடுவான்” என்றான்.

28 All these [are] the twelve tribes of Israel, and this [is] that which their father hath spoken unto them, and he blesseth them; each according to his blessing he hath blessed them.

௨௮இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் இஸ்ரவேலின் பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரத்தார்; அவர்களுடைய தகப்பன் அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்போது, அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னது இதுதான்; அவனவனுக்குரிய ஆசீர்வாதம் சொல்லி அவனவனை ஆசீர்வதித்தான்.

29 And he commandeth them, and saith unto them, 'I am being gathered unto my people; bury me by my fathers, at the cave which [is] in the field of Ephron the Hittite;

௨௯பின்னும் அவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: “நான் என் ஜனத்தாரோடு சேர்க்கப்படப்போகிறேன்; ஏத்தியனான எப்பெரோனின் நிலத்திலுள்ள குகையிலே என்னை என் பிதாக்களருகில் அடக்கம் செய்யுங்கள்” என்று கட்டளையிட்டு;

30 in the cave which [is] in the field of Machpelah, which [is] on the front of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burying-place;

௩0அந்தக் குகை கானான் தேசத்திலே மம்ரேக்கு எதிராக மக்பேலா எனப்பட்ட நிலத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அதை நமக்குச் சொந்தக் கல்லறைப் பூமியாக இருக்கும்படி, ஆபிரகாம் ஏத்தியனான எப்பெரோன் கையில் அதற்குரிய நிலத்துடனே வாங்கினார்.

31 (there they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah);

௩௧அங்கே ஆபிரகாமையும் அவர் மனைவியாகிய சாராளையும் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அங்கே ஈசாக்கையும் அவர் மனைவியாகிய ரெபெக்காளையும் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அங்கே லேயாளையும் அடக்கம்செய்தேன்.

32 the purchase of the field and of the cave which [is] in it, [is] from Sons of Heth.'

௩௨அந்த நிலமும் அதில் இருக்கிற குகையும் ஏத்தின் மகன்களிடமிருந்து வாங்கப்பட்டது” என்றான்.

33 And Jacob finisheth commanding his sons, and gathereth up his feet unto the bed, and expireth, and is gathered unto his people.

௩௩யாக்கோபு தன் மகன்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டு முடிந்தபின்பு, அவன் தன் கால்களைக் கட்டிலின்மேல் மடக்கிக்கொண்டு உயிர்போய், தன் மக்களோடு சேர்க்கப்பட்டான்.
