< Genesis 25 >
1 And Abraham addeth and taketh a wife, and her name [is] Keturah;
Abrayami abalaki mwasi mosusu, kombo na ye « Ketura. »
2 and she beareth to him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
Ketura abotelaki ye: Zimirani, Yokishani, Medani, Madiani, Ishibaki mpe Shuwa.
3 And Jokshan hath begotten Sheba and Dedan; and the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim;
Yokishani azalaki tata ya Saba mpe Dedani. Tala bato oyo bazalaki bakitani ya Dedani: Bato ya Ashuri, ya Letushi mpe ya Lewumi.
4 and the sons of Midian [are] Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah: all these [are] sons of Keturah.
Madiani azalaki tata ya Efa, ya Eferi, ya Enoki, ya Abida mpe ya Elida. Bato oyo nyonso bazalaki bakitani ya Ketura.
5 And Abraham giveth all that he hath to Isaac;
Abrayami atikaki biloko na ye nyonso na maboko ya Izaki.
6 and to the sons of the concubines whom Abraham hath, Abraham hath given gifts, and sendeth them away from Isaac his son (in his being yet alive) eastward, unto the east country.
Kasi wana Abrayami azalaki nanu na bomoi, apesaki bakado epai ya bana mibali ya bamakangu na ye mpe atindaki bango na mokili ya este, mosika ya mwana na ye ya mobali Izaki.
7 And these [are] the days of the years of the life of Abraham, which he lived, a hundred and seventy and five years;
Abrayami awumelaki na bomoi mibu nkama moko na tuku sambo na mitano.
8 and Abraham expireth, and dieth in a good old age, aged and satisfied, and is gathered unto his people.
Bongo Abrayami akataki motema mpe akufaki. Sima na ye kotonda mikolo mpe kokoma mobange makasi, akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye.
9 And Isaac and Ishmael his sons bury him at the cave of Machpelah, at the field of Ephron, son of Zoar the Hittite, which [is] before Mamre —
Bana na ye ya mibali, Izaki mpe Isimaeli, bakundaki ye na lilita ya mabanga ya Makipela pene ya Mamire, kati na elanga ya Efroni, mwana mobali ya Tsoari, moto ya Iti.
10 the field which Abraham bought from the sons of Heth — there hath Abraham been buried, and Sarah his wife.
Abrayami asombaki elanga yango epai ya bato ya Iti. Ezalaki kuna nde bakundaki mwasi na ye Sara.
11 And it cometh to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blesseth Isaac his son; and Isaac dwelleth by the Well of the Living One, my Beholder.
Sima na kufa ya Abrayami, Nzambe apambolaki Izaki, mwana mobali ya Abrayami. Izaki azalaki kovanda pene ya Lakai-Royi.
12 And these [are] births of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, hath borne to Abraham;
Tala molongo ya bakitani ya Isimaeli, mwana mobali ya Abrayami, oyo Agari, moto ya Ejipito mpe mwasi mosali ya Sara, abotelaki Abrayami.
13 and these [are] the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their births: first-born of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
Tala bakombo ya bana mibali ya Isimaeli kolanda ndenge babotamela: Nebayoti, mwana mobali ya liboso ya Isimaeli; Kedari, Adibeli, Mibisami,
14 and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
Mishima, Duma, Masa,
15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
Adadi, Tema, Yeturi, Nafishi mpe Kedima.
16 these are sons of Ishmael, and these their names, by their villages, and by their towers; twelve princes according to their peoples.
Bango nde bazalaki bana mibali zomi na mibale ya Isimaeli. Moko na moko azalaki mokambi ya libota, mpe apesaki kombo na ye na mboka na ye mpe na molako na ye.
17 And these [are] the years of the life of Ishmael, a hundred and thirty and seven years; and he expireth, and dieth, and is gathered unto his people;
Isimaeli awumelaki na bomoi mibu nkama moko na tuku misato na sambo. Akataki motema mpe akufaki; akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye.
18 and they tabernacle from Havilah unto Shur, which [is] before Egypt, in [thy] going towards Asshur; in the presence of all his brethren hath he fallen.
Bakitani na ye bazalaki kovanda na mokili oyo ezalaki kati na Avila mpe Shuri, pene ya Ejipito, na nzela oyo ekenda na Asiri. Bazalaki tango nyonso kovanda lokola banguna ya bandeko na bango nyonso.
19 And these [are] births of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham hath begotten Isaac;
Tala libota ya Izaki, mwana mobali ya Abrayami. Abrayami azalaki tata ya Izaki,
20 and Isaac is a son of forty years in his taking Rebekah, daughter of Bethuel the Aramaean, from Padan-Aram, sister of Laban the Aramaean, to him for a wife.
mpe Izaki azalaki na mibu tuku minei ya mbotama tango abalaki Rebeka, mwana mwasi ya Betweli, moto ya Arami ya Padani-Arami, mpe ndeko mwasi ya Labani, moto ya Arami.
21 And Isaac maketh entreaty to Jehovah before his wife, for she [is] barren: and Jehovah is entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceiveth,
Izaki abondelaki Yawe mpo na Rebeka, mwasi na ye, oyo azalaki ekomba. Yawe ayanolaki libondeli na ye, mpe Rebeka akomaki na zemi.
22 and the children struggle together within her, and she saith, 'If [it is] right — why [am] I thus?' and she goeth to seek Jehovah.
Kati na libumu na ye, bana bazalaki kowelana. Alobaki: « Likambo nini oyo ekomeli ngai? » Boye, akendeki kotuna Yawe.
23 And Jehovah saith to her, 'Two nations [are] in thy womb, and two peoples from thy bowels are parted; and the [one] people than the [other] people is stronger; and the elder doth serve the younger.'
Yawe alobaki na ye: « Bikolo mibale ezali kati na libumu na yo, mpe mabota mibale ekabwana ekobima na libumu na yo; ekolo moko ekoleka ekolo mosusu na makasi, mpe kulutu akosalela leki. »
24 And her days to bear are fulfilled, and lo, twins [are] in her womb;
Wana tango na ye ya kobota ekokaki, azalaki na mapasa mibale kati na libumu na ye.
25 and the first cometh out all red as a hairy robe, and they call his name Esau;
Lipasa ya liboso oyo abimaki azalaki motane mpe nzoto na ye mobimba ezalaki etonda na bapwale lokola elamba ya bapwale; yango wana babengaki ye « Ezawu. »
26 and afterwards hath his brother come out, and his hand is taking hold on Esau's heel, and one calleth his name Jacob; and Isaac [is] a son of sixty years in her bearing them.
Sima na yango, ndeko na ye mpe abimaki, loboko na ye ekanga litindi ya Ezawu; yango wana bapesaki ye kombo « Jakobi. » Izaki azalaki na mibu tuku motoba ya mbotama tango Rebeka abotaki.
27 And the youths grew, and Esau is a man acquainted [with] hunting, a man of the field; and Jacob [is] a plain man, inhabiting tents;
Bana mibali yango bakolaki. Ezawu akomaki mobomi makasi ya banyama mpe azalaki kolekisa tango mingi na zamba; Jakobi azalaki moto ya kimia, azalaki kosepela kovanda na ndako.
28 and Isaac loveth Esau, for [his] hunting [is] in his mouth; and Rebekah is loving Jacob.
Izaki abandaki kosepela mingi na misuni, yango wana alingaki mingi Ezawu; mpe Rebeka alingaki mingi Jakobi.
29 And Jacob boileth pottage, and Esau cometh in from the field, and he [is] weary;
Mokolo moko, wana Jakobi azalaki kolamba elubu, Ezawu oyo awutaki na bilanga ayaki na kolemba.
30 and Esau saith unto Jacob, 'Let me eat, I pray thee, some of this red red thing, for I [am] weary;' therefore hath [one] called his name Edom [Red];
Ezawu alobaki na Jakobi: — Nalembi makasi; tika ngai nalia elubu oyo, elubu oyo kaka. Yango wana bazalaki mpe kobenga ye Edomi.
31 and Jacob saith, 'Sell to-day thy birthright to me.'
Jakobi azongisaki: — Tekela ngai liboso boyaya na yo.
32 And Esau saith, 'Lo, I am going to die, and what is this to me — birthright?'
Ezawu azongisaki: — Tala, nakokufa na nzala. Boyaya na ngai ekopesa ngai nini?
33 and Jacob saith, 'Swear to me to-day:' and he sweareth to him, and selleth his birthright to Jacob;
Kasi Jakobi alobaki: — Lapa liboso ndayi. Ezawu alapaki ndayi epai ya Jakobi; mpe na nzela wana, atekaki boyaya na ye epai ya Jakobi.
34 and Jacob hath given to Esau bread and pottage of lentiles, and he eateth, and drinketh, and riseth, and goeth; and Esau despiseth the birthright.
Jakobi apesaki Ezawu lipa mpe elubu ya misili. Ezawu aliaki mpe amelaki, bongo atelemaki mpe akendeki. Ezali ndenge wana nde Ezawu atiolaki boyaya na ye.
