< Ezekiel 29 >

1 In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], in the twelfth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,
Ní ọjọ́ kejìlá, oṣù kẹwàá, ọdún kẹwàá, ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá wí pé:
2 'Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy concerning him, and concerning Egypt — all of it.
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, kọjú sí Farao ọba Ejibiti kí ó sì sọ àsọtẹ́lẹ̀ sí i àti sí gbogbo Ejibiti.
3 Speak, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt! The great dragon that is crouching in the midst of his floods, Who hath said, My flood [is] my own, And I — I have made it [for] myself.
Sọ̀rọ̀, kí ó sì wí pé, ‘Báyìí ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: “‘Èmi lòdì sí ọ, Farao ọba Ejibiti ìwọ ẹ̀mí búburú ńlá inú òkun tí ó dùbúlẹ̀ sí àárín àwọn odò ṣíṣàn rẹ. Èyí tí ó sọ wí pé, “Tèmi ni odò Naili; èmi ni ó sì ṣe é fún ara mi.”
4 And I have put hooks in thy jaws, And I have caused the fish of thy floods to cleave to thy scales, And I have caused thee to come up from the midst of thy floods, And every fish of thy floods to thy scales doth cleave.
Ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò fi ìwọ̀ mú ẹnu rẹ èmi yóò sì mú ẹja inú odò rẹ gbogbo lẹ̀ mọ́ ìpẹ́ ara rẹ. Èmi yóò fà ọ́ síta kúrò láàrín àwọn odò rẹ, àti gbogbo ẹja odò rẹ yóò lẹ̀ mọ́ ìpẹ́ ara rẹ.
5 And I have left thee in the wilderness, Thou and every fish of thy floods, On the face of the field thou dost fall, Thou art not gathered nor assembled, To the beast of the earth and to the fowl of the heavens I have given thee for food.
Èmi yóò sọ ọ́ nù sí aginjù ìwọ àti gbogbo ẹja inú odò rẹ: ìwọ yóò ṣubú sí gbangba oko a kì yóò sì ṣà ọ́ jọ tàbí gbé ọ sókè. Èmi ti fi ọ ṣe oúnjẹ fún àwọn ẹranko igbó àti fún àwọn ẹyẹ ojú ọ̀run láti jẹ.
6 And known have all inhabitants of Egypt That I [am] Jehovah, Because of their being a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
Nígbà náà gbogbo àwọn olùgbé ni Ejibiti yóò mọ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa. “‘Ìwọ ti jẹ́ ọ̀pá ìyè fún ilé Israẹli.
7 In their taking hold of thee by thy hand, — thou art crushed, And hast rent to them all the shoulder, And in their leaning on thee thou art broken, And hast caused all their thighs to stand.
Nígbà tí wọn fi ọwọ́ agbára wọn dì ọ́ mú. Ìwọ fọ́, ìwọ sì ya gbogbo èjìká wọn; nígbà tí wọn fi ara tì ọ́, ìwọ sẹ́, ìwọ sì mú gbogbo ẹ̀gbẹ́ wọn gbọ̀n.
8 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am bringing in against thee a sword, And have cut off from thee man and beast.
“‘Nítorí náà, èyí ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Kíyèsi, Èmi yóò mú idà kan wá sórí rẹ tí yóò sì gé ènìyàn àti ẹran kúrò nínú rẹ.
9 And the land of Egypt hath been for a desolation and a waste, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah. Because he said: The flood [is] mine, and I made [it].
Ilẹ̀ Ejibiti yóò di aginjù àti ahoro, nígbà náà ní wọn yóò sì mọ̀ wí pé èmi ní Olúwa. “‘Nítorí tí ìwọ wí pé, “Tèmi ni odò Naili, Èmi ni mo ṣe é,”
10 Therefore, lo, I [am] against thee, and against thy floods, And have given the land of Egypt for wastes, A waste, a desolation, from Migdol to Syene, And unto the border of Cush.
nítorí náà, mo lòdì sí ọ àti sí àwọn odò rẹ, èmi yóò sì mú kí ilẹ̀ Ejibiti di píparun àti ahoro, pátápátá, láti Migdoli lọ dé Siene, dé ààlà ilẹ̀ Kuṣi.
11 Not pass over into it doth a foot of man, Yea, the foot of beast doth not pass into it, Nor is it inhabited forty years.
Kò sí ẹsẹ̀ ènìyàn tàbí tí ẹranko tí yóò gba ibẹ̀ kọjá; ẹni kankan kò ní gbé ibẹ̀ fún ogójì ọdún.
12 And I have made the land of Egypt a desolation, In the midst of desolate lands, And its cities, in the midst of waste cities, Are a desolation forty years, And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have dispersed them through lands.
Èmi yóò sọ ilẹ̀ Ejibiti di ọ̀kan ní àárín àwọn ìlú tí ó di ahoro, fún ogójì ọdún, Èmi yóò sì fọ́n àwọn ara Ejibiti ká sáàárín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, èmi yóò sì tú wọn ká sáàárín gbogbo ilẹ̀.
13 But thus said the Lord Jehovah: At the end of forty years I gather the Egyptians Out of the peoples whither they have been scattered,
“‘Ṣùgbọ́n báyìí ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Ní òpin ogójì ọdún, èmi yóò ṣa àwọn ará Ejibiti jọ láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ènìyàn níbi tí a fọ́n wọn ká sí.
14 And I have turned back [to] the captivity of Egypt, And I have brought them back [To] the land of Pathros, to the land of their birth, And they have been there a low kingdom.
Èmi yóò sì tún mú ìgbèkùn Ejibiti padà bọ̀, èmi yóò sì dá wọn padà sí ilẹ̀ Paturosi, ilẹ̀ àwọn baba ńlá wọn. Wọn yóò wà níbẹ̀ bí ìjọba tí a rẹ̀ sílẹ̀.
15 Of the kingdoms it is lowest, And it lifteth not up itself any more above the nations, And I have made them few, So as not to rule among nations.
Ibẹ̀ yóò jẹ́ ìjọba tí ó rẹlẹ̀ jùlọ nínú àwọn ìjọba, kì yóò sì gbé ara rẹ̀ ga mọ́ sórí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè: nítorí èmi ni ó dín wọn kù, tiwọn kì yóò fi ṣe olórí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè yòókù mọ́.
16 And it is no more to the house of Israel for a confidence, Bringing iniquity to remembrance, By their turning after them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.'
Ejibiti kí yóò sì jẹ orísun ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé fún ilé Israẹli mọ́ ṣùgbọ́n, yóò jẹ́ ìrántí fún àìṣedéédéé wọn, nígbà tí yóò bá wò wọ́n fún ìrànlọ́wọ́. Nígbà náà, wọn yóò mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa Olódùmarè.’”
17 And it cometh to pass, in the twenty and seventh year, in the first [month], in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying:
Ó sì ṣe ní ọjọ́ kìn-ín-ní, oṣù kìn-ín-ní, ọdún kẹtàdínlọ́gbọ̀n, ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá wí pé:
18 'Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, Hath caused his force to serve a great service against Tyre, Every head [is] bald — every shoulder peeled, And reward he had none, nor his force, out of Tyre, For the service that he served against it.
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, Nebukadnessari ọba Babeli mú kí ogun rẹ sin ìrú ńlá fún Tire. Gbogbo orí pá, àti gbogbo èjìká bó, síbẹ̀, òun àti àwọn ogun rẹ̀, kò rí owó ọ̀yà gbà láti Tire fún wa, fún ìrú ti a ti sìn.
19 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah, Lo, I am giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, And he hath taken away its store, And hath taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it hath been a reward to his force.
Nítorí náà, báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Kíyèsi i, Èmi yóò fi Ejibiti fún Nebukadnessari ọba Babeli, òun yóò sì kó ọrọ̀ rẹ̀ lọ. Òun yóò bo ilé, yóò sì ṣe ìkógun ilẹ̀ náà gẹ́gẹ́ bí owó iṣẹ́ tí a san fún ológun rẹ̀.
20 His wage for which he laboured I have given to him, The land of Egypt — in that they wrought for Me, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
Èmi ti fi Ejibiti fún un gẹ́gẹ́ bí èrè wàhálà rẹ̀ nítorí òun àti àwọn ológun rẹ ṣe é fún mi, ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí.
21 In that day I cause to shoot up a horn to the house of Israel, And to thee I give an opening of the mouth in their midst, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah!'
“Ní ọjọ́ náà, èmi yóò mú kí ìwo Israẹli ru jáde, èmi yóò sì fún ọ ní ẹnu ọ̀rọ̀ ní àárín wọn. Nígbà náà ni wọn yóò mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa.”
