Ezekiel 29
1 In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], in the twelfth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,
Tamin’ ny andro faharoa ambin’ ny folo tamin’ ny volana fahafolo tamin’ ny taona fahafolo dia tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
2 'Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy concerning him, and concerning Egypt — all of it.
Ry zanak’ olona, manandrifia an’ i Farao, mpanjakan’ i Egypta, ka maminania ny hamelezana azy mbamin’ i Egypta rehetra.
3 Speak, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt! The great dragon that is crouching in the midst of his floods, Who hath said, My flood [is] my own, And I — I have made it [for] myself.
Mitenena, ka ataovy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Indro, avy hamely anao Aho, ry Farao, mpanjakan’ i Egypta, ilay dragona makadiry mamitsaka ao amin’ ny Neiliny, dia ilay efa nanao hoe: Ahy ny Neiliko, fa izaho no namorona azy ho an’ ny tenako.
4 And I have put hooks in thy jaws, And I have caused the fish of thy floods to cleave to thy scales, And I have caused thee to come up from the midst of thy floods, And every fish of thy floods to thy scales doth cleave.
Ary hasiako farango ny valanoranonao, sady hampiraiketiko amin’ ny kiranao ny hazandrano ao amin’ ny Neilinao, dia hampiakariko avy eo afovoan’ ny Neilinao ianao, ary ny hazandrano rehetra amin’ ny Neilinao dia hiraikitra amin’ ny kiranao.
5 And I have left thee in the wilderness, Thou and every fish of thy floods, On the face of the field thou dost fall, Thou art not gathered nor assembled, To the beast of the earth and to the fowl of the heavens I have given thee for food.
Ary hariako any an-efitra ianao, dia ianao sy ny hazandrano rehetra avy amin’ ny Neilinao; hitsitsitra eny an-tanety ianao ka tsy hovorina na hangonina; Efa nomeko hohanin’ ny bibi-dia sy ny voro-manidina ianao.
6 And known have all inhabitants of Egypt That I [am] Jehovah, Because of their being a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
dia ho fantatry ny mponina rehetra any Egypta fa Izaho no Jehovah, satria efa tehina volotara ho an’ ny taranak’ Isiraely izy.
7 In their taking hold of thee by thy hand, — thou art crushed, And hast rent to them all the shoulder, And in their leaning on thee thou art broken, And hast caused all their thighs to stand.
(Nony mandray anao amin’ ny tànany izy, dia folaka ianao, ka voatsindronao ny helik’ izy rehetra; Ary nony mitehina aminao izy, dia tapaka ianao ka mampilefidefitra ny valahan’ izy rehetra.)
8 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am bringing in against thee a sword, And have cut off from thee man and beast.
Dia izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Indro, hahatonga sabatra hamely anao Aho, ka hofongorako tsy ho aminao ny olona sy ny biby.
9 And the land of Egypt hath been for a desolation and a waste, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah. Because he said: The flood [is] mine, and I made [it].
Ary ny tany Egypta ho rava sy lao; Ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah. Satria hoy izy: Ahy Neily, ary izaho no nanao azy,
10 Therefore, lo, I [am] against thee, and against thy floods, And have given the land of Egypt for wastes, A waste, a desolation, from Migdol to Syene, And unto the border of Cush.
Dia, indro, avy hamely anao sy ny Neilinao Aho, ary ny tany Egypta hataoko lao tokoa, eny, sady ho lao no ho rava, hatrany Migdola ka hatrany Syena, dia hatramin’ ny sisin’ i Etiopia.
11 Not pass over into it doth a foot of man, Yea, the foot of beast doth not pass into it, Nor is it inhabited forty years.
Tsy hodiavin-tongotr’ olona ny tany, ary ny tongo-biby aza tsy handia azy, sady tsy honenana efa-polo taona izy.
12 And I have made the land of Egypt a desolation, In the midst of desolate lands, And its cities, in the midst of waste cities, Are a desolation forty years, And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have dispersed them through lands.
Ary hataoko tany rava dia rava ny tany Egypta, ary ho lao dia ho lao efa-polo taona ny tanànany; Eny, haeliko ho any amin’ ny firenena samy hafa ny Egyptiana, ary hahahako any amin’ ny tany samy hafa.
13 But thus said the Lord Jehovah: At the end of forty years I gather the Egyptians Out of the peoples whither they have been scattered,
Fa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Rehefa afaka efa-polo taona, dia hangoniko avy any amin’ ny firenena izay nielezany ny Egyptiana:
14 And I have turned back [to] the captivity of Egypt, And I have brought them back [To] the land of Pathros, to the land of their birth, And they have been there a low kingdom.
Ary haveriko avy amin’ ny fahababoany izy, ka hampodiko any amin’ ny tany Patrosa, tany nihaviany, izy; Ary ho fanjakana ambany Egypta;
15 Of the kingdoms it is lowest, And it lifteth not up itself any more above the nations, And I have made them few, So as not to rule among nations.
Eny, ho ambany noho ny fanjakana hafa izy ka tsy hisandratra ambonin’ ny firenena hafa intsony; Fa hohakeleziko izy ka tsy hampanompo ny firenena intsony.
16 And it is no more to the house of Israel for a confidence, Bringing iniquity to remembrance, By their turning after them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.'
Dia tsy ho tokin’ ny taranak’ Isiraely intsony izy ho fampahatsiarovana ny helony amin’ ny andehanan’ ireo hanaraka azy; Ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah Tompo.
17 And it cometh to pass, in the twenty and seventh year, in the first [month], in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying:
Ary tamin’ ny andro voalohany tamin’ ny volana voalohany tamin’ ny taona fahafito amby roa-polo dia tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
18 'Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, Hath caused his force to serve a great service against Tyre, Every head [is] bald — every shoulder peeled, And reward he had none, nor his force, out of Tyre, For the service that he served against it.
Ry zanak’ olona, mafy ny fanompoana izay nampanaovin’ i Nebokadnezara, mpanjakan’ i Babylona, ny miaramilany tamin’ ny namelezany an’ i Tyro, ka efa samy tonga sola avokoa ny lohany, sady niendaka ny sorony, nefa tsy nahazo karama avy tany Tyro izy sy ny miaramilany noho ny fanompoana izay nataony tamin’ ny namelezany azy.
19 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah, Lo, I am giving to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon the land of Egypt, And he hath taken away its store, And hath taken its spoil, and taken its prey, And it hath been a reward to his force.
Koa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Indro, homeko an’ i Nebokadnezara, mpanjakan’ i Babylona, ny tany Egypta, dia halainy ny hareny, ary hobaboiny izay hita ao, ka hataony sambotra izay azo ao, koa izany no ho karaman’ ny miaramilany.
20 His wage for which he laboured I have given to him, The land of Egypt — in that they wrought for Me, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
Ho valin’ ny fanompoana nataony tany Tyro no nanomezako azy ny tany Egypta, satria nataony ho Ahy izany, hoy Jehovah Tompo.
21 In that day I cause to shoot up a horn to the house of Israel, And to thee I give an opening of the mouth in their midst, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah!'
Amin’ izany andro izany dia hampitsimoka tandroka ho an’ ny taranak’ Isiraely Aho, ary hampiloahiko vava eo aminy ianao; ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah.
