Ezekiel 28

1 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

پیغام دیگری از جانب خداوند به من داده شد:

2 'Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart hath been high, And thou dost say: A god I [am], The habitation of God I have inhabited, In the heart of the seas, And thou [art] man, and not God, And thou givest out thy heart as the heart of God,

«ای پسر انسان، به حاکم صور بگو که خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: تو به قدری مغرور شده‌ای که فکر می‌کنی خدا هستی و در قلمرو خود که جزیره‌ای است در وسط دریا، مانند یک خدا بر تخت نشسته‌ای! هر چند به خود می‌بالی که مثل خدا هستی، ولی بدان که انسانی بیش نیستی. تو می‌گویی از دانیال داناتری و هیچ رازی از تو مخفی نیست.

3 Lo, thou [art] wiser than Daniel, No hidden thing have they concealed from thee.

4 By thy wisdom and by thine understanding Thou hast made for thee wealth, And makest gold and silver in thy treasuries.

با حکمت و دانایی خود، مال و ثروت زیاد جمع کرده‌ای و طلا و نقره و گنجهای بسیار اندوخته‌ای.

5 By the abundance of thy wisdom, Through thy merchandise, Thou hast multiplied thy wealth, And high is thy heart through thy wealth.

حکمت تو، تو را بسیار ثروتمند و مغرور کرده است.

6 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of thy giving out thy heart as the heart of God,

«پس خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: چون ادعا می‌کنی که مانند خدا دانا هستی،

7 Therefore, lo, I am bringing in against thee strangers, The terrible of the nations, And they have drawn out their swords Against the beauty of thy wisdom, And they have pierced thy brightness.

من سپاه دشمن بی‌رحمی را که مایهٔ وحشت قومهاست می‌فرستم تا شکوه و زیبایی تو را که به حکمت خود به دست آورده‌ای از بین ببرند.

8 To destruction they bring thee down, Thou diest by the deaths of the wounded, in the heart of the seas.

آنها تو را به قعر جهنم می‌فرستند و تو در قلب دریا خواهی مرد.

9 Dost thou really say, 'I [am] God,' Before him who is slaying thee? And thou [art] man, and not God, In the hand of him who is piercing thee.

آیا در حضور قاتلان خود باز ادعای خدایی خواهی کرد؟ نه، بلکه در آن هنگام تو یک انسان خواهی بود و نه خدا.

10 The deaths of the uncircumcised thou diest, By the hand of strangers, for I have spoken, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

مثل یک شخص مطرود، به دست بیگانه‌ها کشته خواهی شد. من که خداوند یهوه هستم این را گفته‌ام.»

11 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

بار دیگر خداوند به من فرمود:

12 'Son of man, lift up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, And thou hast said to him: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Thou art sealing up a measurement, Full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

«ای پسر انسان، برای پادشاه صور گریه کن. به او بگو که خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: تو مظهر کمال حکمت و زیبایی بودی

13 In Eden, the garden of God, thou hast been, Every precious stone thy covering, Ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle, and gold, The workmanship of thy tabrets, and of thy pipes, In thee in the day of thy being produced, have been prepared.

و در عدن که باغ خدا بود، قرار داشتی. خود را با انواع سنگهای گرانبها از قبیل عقیق سرخ، یاقوت زرد، الماس، زبرجد، جزع، یشم، یاقوت کبود، یاقوت سرخ و زمرد تزیین می‌کردی. زیورهای تو همه از طلا بود. تمام اینها در آن روزی که به وجود آمدی به تو داده شد.

14 Thou [art] an anointed cherub who is covering, And I have set thee in the holy mount, God thou hast been, In the midst of stones of fire thou hast walked up and down.

تو را به عنوان فرشتهٔ نگهبان انتخاب کردم. تو در کوه مقدّس من بودی و در میان سنگهای درخشان راه می‌رفتی.

15 Perfect [art] thou in thy ways, From the day of thy being produced, Till perversity hath been found in thee.

«از روزی که آفریده شدی در تمام کارهایت کامل و بی‌نقص بودی تا اینکه شرارت در تو راه یافت.

16 By the abundance of thy merchandise They have filled thy midst with violence, And thou dost sin, And I thrust thee from the mount of God, And I destroy thee, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire.

تجارت زیاد تو با دیگران باعث شد تو ظالم و گناهکار شوی. به این سبب تو را از کوه خود بیرون انداختم. ای فرشتهٔ نگهبان، من تو را از میان سنگهای درخشان بیرون انداخته، هلاک ساختم.

17 High hath been thy heart, because of thy beauty, Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom because of thy brightness, On the earth I have cast thee, Before kings I have set thee, to look on thee,

دل تو از زیبایی‌ات مغرور شد، و شکوه جلالت باعث شد حکمتت به حماقت تبدیل شود. به همین علّت تو را بر زمین انداختم و در برابر چشمان پادشاهان، درمانده‌ات کردم.

18 From the abundance of thy iniquity, By the perversity of thy traffic, Thou hast polluted thy sanctuaries, And I bring forth fire from thy midst, It hath devoured thee, And I make thee become ashes on the earth, Before the eyes of all beholding thee.

تقدس خود را به سبب حرص و طمع از دست دادی. پس، از میان خودت آتشی بیرون آوردم و پیش چشمان کسانی که تماشا می‌کردند، تو را سوزاندم و به خاک و خاکستر تبدیل نمودم.

19 All knowing thee among the peoples Have been astonished at thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not — to the age.'

تمام کسانی که تو را می‌شناختند، از آنچه که بر سرت آمده است حیران و وحشتزده شده‌اند. تو برای همیشه از بین رفته‌ای.»

20 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

پیغامی دیگر از جانب خداوند به من رسید:

21 'Son of man, set thy face unto Zidon, and prophesy concerning it;

«ای پسر انسان، به سوی شهر صیدون نگاه کرده، بر ضد آن پیشگویی کن و بگو

22 and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against thee, O Zidon, And I have been honoured in thy midst, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah, In My doing in her judgments, And I have been sanctified in her.

خداوند یهوه چنین می‌فرماید: «ای صیدون، من دشمن تو هستم و قدرتم را به تو نشان خواهم داد. وقتی با مجازات کردن تو قدوسیت خود را آشکار کنم، آنگاه خواهند دانست که من یهوه هستم.

23 And I have sent into her pestilence, And blood into her out-places, The wounded hath been judged in her midst, By the sword upon her round about, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah.

امراض مسری بر تو می‌فرستم و سربازان دشمن از هر طرف به تو حمله کرده، ساکنان تو را از دم شمشیر خواهند گذراند و خون در کوچه‌هایت جاری خواهد شد. آنگاه خواهی دانست که من یهوه هستم.

24 And there is no more to the house of Israel A pricking brier, and paining thorn, Of all round about them — despising them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.

تو و سایر همسایگان اسرائیل، دیگر مثل خار، قوم اسرائیل را زخمی نخواهید کرد، هر چند که قبلاً آنها را خوار شمردید و با ایشان بدرفتاری کردید.

25 Thus said the Lord Jehovah: In My gathering the house of Israel, Out of the peoples among whom they were scattered, I have been sanctified in them, Before the eyes of the nations, And they have dwelt on their ground, That I gave to My servant, to Jacob,

«خداوند یهوه می‌فرماید: قوم اسرائیل بار دیگر در سرزمین خود ساکن خواهند شد؛ بله، در سرزمینی که به پدرشان یعقوب دادم. زیرا ایشان را از سرزمینهای دور که آنها را در آنجا پراکنده ساخته‌ام برمی‌گردانم و بدین ترتیب به قومهای جهان نشان می‌دهم که من قدوس هستم.

26 And they have dwelt on it confidently, And builded houses, and planted vineyards, And dwelt confidently — in My doing judgments, On all those despising them round about, And they have known that I, Jehovah, [am] their God!'

قوم من با صلح و امنیت در سرزمین خود ساکن می‌شوند، برای خود خانه‌ها می‌سازند و تاکستانها غرس می‌کنند. وقتی همهٔ قومهای همسایه را به سبب رفتار توهین‌آمیزشان با قوم اسرائیل تنبیه کنم، آنگاه خواهند دانست که من یهوه خدای قوم اسرائیل هستم.»
