Ezekiel 27
1 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:
Seyè a pale avè m', li di m' konsa:
2 'And thou, son of man, lift up concerning Tyre a lamentation, and thou hast said to Tyre:
-Nonm o! Chante pou plenn sò lavil Tir!
3 O dweller on the entrances of the sea, Merchant of the peoples unto many isles, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, thou — thou hast said: I [am] the perfection of beauty.
W'a pale ak moun lavil Tir yo, lavil ki kanpe bò lanmè a, lavil k'ap fè kòmès ak dènye moun ki rete bò lanmè, w'a di yo men mesaj Seyè sèl Mèt la voye ba yo: -Nou menm, moun lavil Tir, k'ap mache di: Pa gen pi bèl peyi pase peyi nou an!
4 In the heart of the seas [are] thy borders, Thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
Fwontyè nou rive jouk nan mitan lanmè. Moun ki bati lavil la te bati l' tankou yon bèl batiman.
5 Of firs of Senir they have built to thee all thy double-boarded ships, Of cedars of Lebanon they have taken to make a mast for thee,
Yo te pran bwapen sou mòn Seni fè planch pou sèvi bòday nou yo. Yo pran yon bwa sèd peyi Liban pou fè ma pou nou.
6 Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars, Thy bench they have made of ivory, A branch of Ashurim from isles of Chittim.
Yo pran bwadchenn peyi Bazan pou fè zaviwon. Yo voye chache bwa sèd nan lil Chip pou fè pon an. Lèfini, yo plake moso ivwa sou tout pon an.
7 Of fine linen with embroidery from Egypt hath been thy sail, To be to thee for an ensign, Of blue and purple from isles of Elishah hath been thy covering.
Vwal batiman an te fèt ak bèl twal fin blan bwode ki soti peyi Lejip. Se te drapo pa nou sa! Kabin sou pon an te kouvri ak bèl twal violèt, bèl twal wouj ki soti nan lil Elicha.
8 Inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad have been rowers to thee, Thy wise men, O Tyre, have been in thee, They [are] thy pilots.
Se gason ki soti lavil Sidon ak lavil Avad k'ap naje zaviwon pou ou. Men, se moun lavil la menm ki te fò anpil nan lamarin ki te maren sou batiman an.
9 Elders of Gebal and its wise men have been in thee, Strengthening thy breach; All ships of the sea and their mariners, Have been in thee, to trade [with] thy merchandise.
Se ansyen gwo bòs chapant lavil Gebal ak bon ouvriye yo ki te abò batiman an pou fè reparasyon. Maren tout batiman ki sou lanmè a vin fè trafik lakay ou.
10 Persian and Lud and Phut Have been in thy forces — thy men of war. Shield and helmet they hung up in thee, They — they have given out thine honour.
Nan lame ou la se renk moun peyi Pès, moun peyi Loud ak moun peyi Pout ki t'ap sèvi. Yo konn fè lagè. Se nan kazèn ou yo yo te konn mete gwo plak fè pwotèj yo ak kas an fè yo. Se moun sa yo ki te fè ou rive nan tout bèl pozisyon sa a.
11 The sons of Arvad, and thy force, [Are] on thy walls round about, And short swordsmen in thy towers have been, Their shields they have hung up on thy walls round about, They — they have perfected thy beauty.
Sòlda ki soti lavil Avad ap veye sou tout miray ranpa ou yo. Sòlda ki soti lavil Gamad t'ap fè faksyonnè sou tout gwo fò won ou yo. Yo pandye plak fè pwotèj yo sou tout miray yo. Se moun sa yo ki te fè ou bèl kont bèl ou.
12 Tarshish [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For silver, iron, tin, and lead, They have given out thy remnants.
Moun lavil Tasis nan peyi Lespay vin fè kòmès ak ou, paske ou te gen tout kalite bèl bagay an kantite. Yo vann ou ajan, fè, fèblan ak plon pou yo te ka achte machandiz ou yo.
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech — they [are] thy merchants, For persons of men, and vessels of brass, They have given out thy merchandise.
Ou fè kòmès ak peyi Lagrès, ak lavil Toubal, ak lavi Mechèk. Yo vann ou esklav ak tout kalite bagay fèt an kwiv pou machandiz pa ou yo.
14 They of the house of Togarmah, [For] horses, and riding steeds, and mules, They have given out thy remnants.
Ou fè trafik ak moun Togama. Ou vann yo machandiz pa ou. Pou peye ou, yo ba ou chwal pou travay, chwal pou fè lagè ak milèt.
15 Sons of Dedan [are] thy merchants, Many isles [are] the mart of thy hand, Horns of ivory and ebony they sent back thy reward.
Moun lavil Wòd yo fè kòmès avèk ou tou. Moun anpil lòt peyi ki bò gwo lanmè a te fè pratik ak ou. Ou ba yo machandiz ou yo, yo peye ak gwo kòn ivwa ak bwa nwa.
16 Aram [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of thy works, For emerald, purple, and embroidery, And fine linen, and coral, and agate, They have given out thy remnants.
Moun peyi Siri yo fè komès avèk ou paske ou te gen anpil machandiz. Yo vann ou bèl pyè ki koute chè, bèl twal wouj, twal bwode, grenn koray, twal fin blan, ak pyè woubi. Ou menm, ou vann yo machandiz pa ou.
17 Judah and the land of Israel — they [are] thy merchants, For wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, And honey, and oil, and balm, They have given out thy merchandise.
Moun peyi Jida ak moun peyi Izrayèl yo te fè kòmès avè ou tou. Pou peye ou, yo ba ou ble, pitimi, siwo myèl, lwil oliv ak zepis.
18 Damascus [is] thy merchant, For the abundance of thy works, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For wine of Helbon, and white wool.
Moun Damas yo achte machandiz ou yo ak tout kalite bèl bagay ou te gen an kantite. Yo te vann ou diven ki soti Elbon ak lenn ki soti Saar.
19 Vedan and Javan go about with thy remnants, They have given shining iron, cassia, and cane, In thy merchandise it hath been.
Moun soti depi lavil Wazal, yo ba ou diven, fè fòje, kannèl ak zepis pou machandiz ou yo.
20 Dedan [is] thy merchant, For clothes of freedom for riding.
Moun lavil Dadan yo ba ou sèl ak chabrak pou machandiz ou yo.
21 Arabia, and all princes of Kedar, They [are] the traders of thy hand, For lambs, and rams, and he-goats, In these thy merchants.
Moun peyi Arabi yo ak chèf peyi Keda yo te pratik ou tou. Yo te vann ou ti mouton, belye mouton ak bouk kabrit.
22 Merchants of Sheba and Raamah — they [are] thy merchants, For the chief of all spices, And for every precious stone, and gold, They have given out thy remnants.
Machann ki soti Seba ak Rema vin vann ou bon kalite zepis, bèl pyè ki koute chè ak lò.
23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, merchants of Sheba, Asshur — Chilmad — [are] thy merchants,
Moun lavil Aran, moun lavil Kane, moun lavil Edenn, machann ki soti lavil Seba, lavil Asou ak lavil Chilman, yo tout t'ap fè kòmès avè ou.
24 They [are] thy merchants for perfect things, For wrappings of blue, and embroidery, And for treasuries of rich apparel, With cords bound and girded, for thy merchandise,
Yo vann ou bèl twal ki koute chè, twal wouj, twal bwode, bèl tapi tout koulè, bon kòd trese byen solid.
25 Ships of Tarshish [are] thy double walls of thy merchandise, And thou art filled and honoured greatly, In the heart of the seas.
Gwo batiman Tasis yo t'ap vwayaje toupatou al vann machandiz ou yo. Ou te tankou yon batiman chaje kouleba, nan mitan lanmè.
26 Into great waters have they brought thee, Those rowing thee, The east wind hath broken thee in the heart of the seas.
Moun ki t'ap naje zaviwon yo te mennen ou byen lwen nan fon lanmè. Yon sèl van lès te fè ou koule byen lwen nan mitan lanmè.
27 Thy wealth and thy remnants, Thy merchandise, thy mariners, And thy pilots, strengtheners of thy breach, And the traders of thy merchandise, And all thy men of war, who [are] in thee, And in all thine assembly that [is] in thy midst, Fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy fall,
Tout richès ou yo, tout machandiz ou yo, ak tout pwovizyon ou yo ansanm ak tout maren ak tout moun k'ap travay pou ou yo, bòs chapant ki pou fè reparasyon pou ou yo, machann ou yo, tout sòlda ki te abò ou yo ansanm ak tout foul moun ki te nan batiman an, yo tout, wi, yo tout pèdi nan lanmè lè batiman ou lan koule.
28 At the voice of the cry of thy pilots shake do the suburbs.
Rèl maren k'ap neye yo fè moun ki rete sou rivaj yo pran tranble.
29 And come down from their ships have all handling an oar, Mariners, all the pilots of the sea, on the land they stand,
Tout moun ki t'ap naje zaviwon yo desann atè, yo kite batiman yo. Tout maren yo rete atè.
30 And have sounded for thee with their voice, And cry bitterly, and cause dust to go up on their heads, In ashes they do roll themselves.
Y'ap kriye pou ou, y'ap plenn sò ou. Y'ap voye pousyè tè sou tèt yo, y'ap woule kò yo nan sann dife, tèlman y'ap nan lapenn.
31 And they have made for thee baldness, And they have girded on sackcloth, And they have wept for thee, In bitterness of soul — a bitter mourning.
Yo koupe tout cheve nan tèt yo. Yo mete rad sak sou yo. Sa fè yo mal anpil pou ou. Yo dekouraje, y'ap plenn sò ou.
32 And lifted up for thee have their sons a lamentation, And they have lamented over thee, who [is] as Tyre? As the cut-off one in the midst of the sea?
Nan lapenn yo y'ap chante sou ou. Yo pral plenn sò ou ak dlo nan je. Y'ap di: Pa te gen tankou lavil Tir ki koulye a koule nan fon lanmè!
33 With the outgoing of thy remnants from the seas, Thou hast filled many peoples, With the abundance of thy riches, and thy merchandise, Thou hast made rich things of earth.
Lè ou voye machandiz ou yo vann lòt bò dlo, tout nasyon yo jwenn sa yo bezwen. Avèk kantite machandiz ak danre ou yo, ou te fè anpil wa vin rich.
34 The time of [thy] being broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, Thy merchandise and all thy assembly in thy midst have fallen.
Koulye a, ou koule nan fon lanmè. Tout machandiz ou yo, tout moun ki t'ap travay pou ou yo disparèt ansanm avè ou nan lanmè.
35 All inhabitants of the isles have been astonished at thee, And their kings have been sore afraid, They have been troubled in countenance.
Tout moun ki rete nan peyi bò gwo lanmè a sezi tande sa ki rive ou. Ata wa yo gen kè sote. Yo kagou sitèlman yo pè.
36 Merchants among the peoples have shrieked for thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not — to the age!'
Moun k'ap fè kòmès nan lòt peyi yo sezi, yo pè pou sa ki rive ou la pa rive yo tou. Wi, ou fini, ou fini nèt.
