Ezekiel 22
1 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು:
2 'And thou, son of man, dost thou judge? dost thou judge the city of blood? then thou hast caused it to know all its abominations,
“ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಈಗ ನೀನು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆಯಾ? ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧವುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆಯಾ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಅದರ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವೆ.
3 and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: The city is shedding blood in its midst, For the coming in of its time, And it hath made idols on it for defilement.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ನೀನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ‘ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ದಂಡನೆಯ ಕಾಲ ಬರುವಂತೆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
4 By thy blood that thou hast shed thou hast been guilty, And by thine idols that thou hast made thou hast been defiled, And thou causest thy days to draw near, And art come in unto thine years, Therefore I have given thee a reproach to nations, And a derision to all the lands.
ನೀನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾದೆ; ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿರುವೆ; ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೂ ನಿಂದೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
5 The near and the far-off from thee scoff at thee, O defiled of name — abounding in trouble.
ಕುಖ್ಯಾತ ನಗರವೇ, ಬಹಳ ತೊಂದರೆಗೊಳಗಾದವಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರದವರೂ, ದೂರದವರೂ ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವರು.
6 Lo, princes of Israel — each according to his arm Have been in thee to shed blood.
“‘ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತ್ಯಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 Father and mother made light of in thee, To a sojourner they dealt oppressively in thy midst, Fatherless and widow they oppressed in thee.
ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ, ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಿಚಿತರಿಗೆ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನನ್ನೂ, ವಿಧವೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪೀಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
8 My holy things thou hast despised, And My sabbaths thou hast polluted.
ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಿ.
9 Men of slander have been in thee to shed blood, And on the mountains they have eaten in thee, Wickedness they have done in thy midst.
ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ಚೆಲ್ಲುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಚಾಡಿ ಹೇಳುವವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
10 The nakedness of a father hath one uncovered in thee, The defiled of impurity they humbled in thee.
ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಿಸುವವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧಳಾದವಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
11 And each with the wife of his neighbour hath done abomination, And each his daughter-in-law hath defiled through wickedness, And each his sister, his father's daughter, hath humbled in thee.
ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರದಿಂದ ಸೊಸೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಗಳಾದ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯನ್ನೇ ಮಾನಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
12 A bribe they have taken in thee to shed blood, Usury and increase thou hast taken, And cuttest off thy neighbour by oppression, And Me thou hast forgotten, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!
ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ಚೆಲ್ಲುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಲಂಚ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನು ಲಾಭವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ದುರ್ಲಾಭ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
13 And lo, I have smitten My hand, Because of thy dishonest gain that thou hast gained, And for thy blood that hath been in thy midst.
“‘ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ದುರ್ಲಾಭದಿಂದಲೂ, ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧದಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
14 Doth thy heart stand — are thy hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with thee? I, Jehovah, have spoken and have done [it].
ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ನಡೆಸುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳು ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವುವೋ? ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನೇ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನಾನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
15 And I have scattered thee among nations, And have spread thee out among lands, And consumed thy uncleanness out of thee.
ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸಿ, ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು.
16 And thou hast been polluted in thyself Before the eyes of nations, And thou hast known that I [am] Jehovah.'
ಆಗ ನೀನು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನೇ ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವಿ; ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.’”
17 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, 'Son of man,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು:
18 The house of Israel hath been to Me for dross, All of them [are] brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace — dross hath silver been,
“ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ನನಗೆ ಕಸದ ಹಾಗಾದರೂ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಾಮ್ರ, ತವರ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸೀಸದ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಕಸದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
19 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of your all becoming dross, Therefore, lo, I am gathering you unto the midst of Jerusalem,
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ‘ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
20 A gathering of silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, Unto the midst of a furnace — to blow on it fire, to melt it, So do I gather in Mine anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.
ಅವರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ತಾಮ್ರ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ಸೀಸ ಮತ್ತು ತಗಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಒರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿ ಕರಗಿಸುವರೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ರೋಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಗರದೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಕರಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
21 And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath, And ye have been melted in its midst.
ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ರೋಷದ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಊದುವೆನು. ನೀವು ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಕರಗಿಹೋಗುವಿರಿ.
22 As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So are ye melted in its midst, And ye have known that I, Jehovah, I have poured out My fury upon you.'
ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯು ಕುಲುಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಗುವಿರಿ. ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.’”
23 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಮತ್ತೆ ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು,
24 'Son of man, say to it, Thou [art] a land, It [is] not cleansed nor rained on in a day of indignation.
“ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ‘ದೇವರ ರೌದ್ರದ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಯಾಗದ ದೇಶವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಮಳೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇಶವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವೆ.’
25 A conspiracy of its prophets [is] in its midst, as a roaring lion tearing prey; The soul they have devoured, Wealth and glory they have taken, Its widows have multiplied in its midst.
ಬೇಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಉಂಟು; ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ, ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನೂ ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರು ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಜನರನ್ನು ವಿಧವೆಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
26 Its priests have wronged My law, And they pollute My holy things, Between holy and common they have not made separation, And between the unclean and the clean they have not made known, And from my sabbaths they have hidden their eyes, And I am pierced in their midst.
ಅದರ ಯಾಜಕರು ನನ್ನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ, ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾದದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಬೇಧವೆಣಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಶುದ್ಧ, ಅಶುದ್ಧಗಳ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
27 Its princes in its midst [are] as wolves, Tearing prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, For the sake of gaining dishonest gain.
ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಸುಲಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ರಕ್ತ ಸುರಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬೇಟೆಯ ತೋಳಗಳಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
28 And its prophets have daubed for them with chalk, Seeing a vain thing, and divining for them a lie, Saying, 'Thus said the Lord Jehovah:' And Jehovah hath not spoken.
ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಶಕುನ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಾತನಾಡದಿದ್ದರೂ, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ’ ಎಂದು ಅವರ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸುಣ್ಣ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ.
29 The people of the land have used oppression, And have taken plunder violently away, And humble and needy have oppressed, And the sojourner oppressed — without judgment.
ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಡವನನ್ನೂ, ದರಿದ್ರರನ್ನೂ ಪೀಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಹೌದು, ಅವರು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಕೊಡದೆ ವಿದೇಶಿಯರನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
30 And I seek of them a man making a fence, And standing in the breach before Me, In behalf of the land — not to destroy it, And I have not found.
“ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ನಾಡನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡದಂತೆ ನಾಡಿನ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಯ ಬಿರುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ನಾನು ಹುಡುಕಿದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಯಾರೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
31 And I pour out on them mine indignation, By fire of My wrath I have consumed them, Their way on their own head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರ ದುರ್ನಡತೆಯ ಹೊಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ತಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.”
