< Exodus 6 >
1 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'

2 And God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, 'I [am] Jehovah,

3 and I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;
Pea naʻaku fakahā au kia ʻEpalahame, mo ʻAisake, pea mo Sēkope, ko e ʻOtua Māfimafi, ka ko hoku huafa KO SIHOVA, naʻe ʻikai ke ʻilo ai au ʻekinautolu.
4 and also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

5 and also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

6 'Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I [am] Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,

7 and have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I [am] Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;
Pea te u maʻu ʻakimoutolu kiate au ko hoku kakai, pea teu ʻiate kimoutolu ko homou ʻOtua: pea te mou ʻilo ko au ko Sihova ko homou ʻOtua, ʻoku ou ʻomi ʻakimoutolu kituʻa mei he ngaahi kavenga ʻae kakai ʻIsipite.
8 and I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you — a possession; I [am] Jehovah.'
Pea te u ʻomi ʻakimoutolu ki he fonua, ʻaia naʻaku fuakava ai ke foaki ia kia ʻEpalahame, mo ʻAisake, pea mo Sēkope; pea te u foaki ia kiate kimoutolu ko e tofiʻa: Ko au ko Sihova.’”
9 And Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.
Pea naʻe lea pehē ʻe Mōsese ki he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli: ka naʻe ʻikai te nau tokanga kia Mōsese ko e meʻa ʻi he feinga ʻa honau laumālie, mo e māmani ʻo honau pōpula.
10 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, ʻo pehē,
11 'Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;
“ʻAlu, ʻo lea kia Felo ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻIsipite, ke ne tukuange ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ke ʻalu mei hono fonua.”
12 and Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, 'Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'
Pea naʻe lea ʻa Mōsese ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova, ʻo pehē, “Vakai, ʻoku ʻikai tokanga ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli kiate au: pea ʻe tokanga fēfeeʻi ʻa Felo kiate au, ko e loungutu taʻekamu ko au?”
13 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.
Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, pea mo ʻElone, “ʻO ne tuku kiate kinaua ʻae fekau ki he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, pea kia Felo ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻIsipite, ke ʻomi ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli mei he fonua ko ʻIsipite.”
14 These [are] heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel [are] Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these [are] families of Reuben.
Pea ko e ngaahi ʻeiki eni ʻoe fale ʻo ʻenau ngaahi tamai: Ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Lupeni ko e ʻuluaki foha ʻo ʻIsileli; ko Henoke, mo Falu, mo Hesiloni, mo Kalimi; ko e ngaahi faʻahinga eni ʻo Lupeni.
15 And sons of Simeon [are] Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these [are] families of Simeon.
Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Simione; ko Semueli, mo Samini, mo ʻOhati, mo Sakini mo Sohali, mo Saula, ko e tama ʻae fefine Kēnani: ko e ngaahi faʻahinga eni ʻo Simione.
16 And these [are] the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi [are] a hundred and thirty and seven years.
Pea ko e hingoa eni ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo Livai ʻo fakatatau ki honau ngaahi toʻutangata; ko Kesoni, mo Kohate, mo Melali: pea ko e ngaahi taʻu ʻoe moʻui ʻa Livai ko e taʻu ʻe teau mo e taʻu ʻe tolungofulu ma fitu.
17 The sons of Gershon [are] Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.
Ko e ongo foha ʻo Kesoni: ko Sipinai, mo Simi, ʻo fakatatau ki hona faʻahinga:
18 And the sons of Kohath [are] Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath [are] a hundred and thirty and three years.
Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Kohate; ko ʻAmilami, mo ʻIsa, mo Hepeloni, mo ʻUsili: pea ko e ngaahi taʻu ʻoe moʻui ʻa Kohate, ko e taʻu ʻe teau mo e taʻu ʻe tolungofulu ma tolu.
19 And the sons of Merari [are] Mahli and Mushi: these [are] families of Levi, as to their births.
Pea ko e ongo foha ʻo Melali; ko Mali mo Musi: ko e ngaahi faʻahinga eni ʻo Livai ʻi honau ngaahi toʻutangata.
20 And Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram [are] a hundred and thirty and seven years.
Pea naʻe ʻomi ʻe ʻAmilami ʻa Sokapeti ko e tuofefine ʻo ʻene tamai ʻo na mali; pea ne fanauʻi kiate ia ʻa ʻElone mo Mōsese: pea ko e ngaahi taʻu ʻoe moʻui ʻa ʻAmilami ko e taʻu ʻe teau mo e taʻu ʻe tolungofulu ma fitu.
21 And sons of Izhar [are] Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo ʻIsa: ko Kola, mo Nefaki, mo Sikili.
22 And sons of Uzziel [are] Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.
Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo ʻUsili; ko Miseli, mo ʻElisefani, mo Sitili.
23 And Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Pea naʻe ʻomi ʻe ʻElone ʻa ʻElisipa, ko e ʻofefine ʻo ʻAminatape, ko e tuofefine ʻo Neasoni, ʻo na mali; pea naʻe fānau kiate ia ʻa Natipi mo ʻApiu, mo ʻEliesa, mo ʻItama.
24 And sons of Korah [are] Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these [are] families of the Korhite.
Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Kola; ko ʻAsili, mo ʻElikena, mo ʻApiasafi: ko e ngaahi faʻahinga eni ʻo Kola.
25 And Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him [one] of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.
Pea naʻe maʻu ʻe ʻEliesa ko e foha ʻo ʻElone ʻae tokotaha ʻoe ʻofefine ʻo Piuteli ʻo na mali: pea ne fanauʻi kiate ia ʻa Finiasi: ko ʻeni ʻae ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoe kau mātuʻa ʻoe kau Livai ʻi honau ngaahi faʻahinga.
26 This [is] Aaron — and Moses — to whom Jehovah said, 'Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'
Ko eni ʻae ʻElone mo e Mōsese ko ia, naʻe folofola ki ai ʻa Sihova, “Mo omi kituaʻā mei he fonua ko ʻIsipite ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ʻi honau ngaahi kongakau.
27 these are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this [is] Moses — and Aaron.
Ko kinaua ʻeni ʻaia naʻa na lea kia Felo ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻIsipite, ke ʻomi kituaʻā ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli mei ʻIsipite: ko eni ʻae Mōsese mo e ʻElone ko ia.”
28 And it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
Pea naʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻi he ʻaho ko ia naʻe folofola ai ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese ʻi he fonua ko ʻIsipite,
29 that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, 'I [am] Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'
Naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, ʻo pehēange, “Ko au ko Sihova: ke ke tala ʻe koe kia Felo ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻIsipite, ʻaia kotoa pē ʻoku ou lea ʻaki kiate koe.”
30 And Moses saith before Jehovah, 'Lo, I [am] of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'
Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Mōsese ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova, “Vakai, ko e loungutu taʻekamu au, pea ʻe tokanga fēfeeʻi ʻa Felo kiate au?”
