Exodus 6
1 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Now dost thou see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he doth send them away, yea, with a strong hand he doth cast them out of his land.'
Da sagte der HERR zu Mose: »Jetzt sollst du sehen, was ich mit dem Pharao machen werde: Durch eine starke Hand gezwungen, wird er sie ziehen lassen, ja durch eine starke Hand gezwungen, wird er sie aus seinem Lande wegtreiben!«
2 And God speaketh unto Moses, and saith unto him, 'I [am] Jehovah,
Da redete Gott mit Mose und sagte zu ihm: »Ich bin der HERR.
3 and I appear unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; as to My name Jehovah, I have not been known to them;
Ich bin dem Abraham, Isaak und Jakob als ›der allmächtige Gott‹ erschienen, aber mit meinem Namen ›Gott der HERR‹ habe ich mich ihnen nicht geoffenbart.
4 and also I have established My covenant with them, to give to them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;
Auch habe ich meinen Bund mit ihnen geschlossen, ihnen das Land Kanaan zu geben, das Land ihrer Fremdlingschaft, in dem sie als Gäste sich aufgehalten haben.
5 and also I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.
Ich habe auch die Klagen der Israeliten gehört, die von den Ägyptern geknechtet werden, und habe meines Bundes gedacht.
6 'Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I [am] Jehovah, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by a stretched-out arm, and by great judgments,
Darum sage zu den Israeliten: ›Ich bin der HERR und will euch von dem Druck der Fronarbeiten der Ägypter frei machen und euch aus ihrem Zwangsdienst erretten und euch erlösen mit hoch erhobenem Arm und mit gewaltigen Strafgerichten.
7 and have taken you to Me for a people, and I have been to you for God, and ye have known that I [am] Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;
Und ich will euch zu meinem Volk annehmen und will euer Gott sein, und ihr sollt erkennen, daß ich der HERR, euer Gott, bin, der euch vom Druck des Frondienstes der Ägypter frei macht.
8 and I have brought you in unto the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you — a possession; I [am] Jehovah.'
Ich will euch auch in das Land bringen, dessen Verleihung ich dem Abraham, Isaak und Jakob durch einen feierlichen Eid zugesagt habe, und will es euch zum erblichen Besitz geben, ich, der HERR!‹«
9 And Moses speaketh so unto the sons of Israel, and they hearkened not unto Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.
Mose berichtete dies den Israeliten; aber sie hörten nicht auf ihn aus Kleinmut und wegen des harten Frondienstes.
10 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
Da sagte Gott zu Mose:
11 'Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he doth send the sons of Israel out of his land;
»Gehe hin, fordere den Pharao, den König von Ägypten, auf, die Israeliten aus seinem Lande ziehen zu lassen!«
12 and Moses speaketh before Jehovah, saying, 'Lo, the sons of Israel have not hearkened unto me, and how doth Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?'
Aber Mose sprach sich vor dem HERRN offen so aus: »Nicht einmal die Israeliten haben auf mich gehört: wie sollte da der Pharao mich anhören, zumal da ich im Reden ungewandt bin!«
13 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and chargeth them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.
Da redete der HERR mit Mose und Aaron und ordnete sie ab an die Israeliten und an den Pharao, den König von Ägypten, um die Israeliten aus Ägypten wegzuführen.
14 These [are] heads of the house of their fathers: Sons of Reuben first-born of Israel [are] Hanoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these [are] families of Reuben.
Dies sind ihre Familienhäupter: Die Söhne Rubens, des erstgeborenen Sohnes Israels, waren: Hanoch und Pallu, Hezron und Karmi; dies sind die Geschlechter Rubens.
15 And sons of Simeon [are] Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess: these [are] families of Simeon.
Und die Söhne Simeons waren: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar und Saul, der Sohn der Kanaanäerin; dies sind die Geschlechter Simeons.
16 And these [are] the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi [are] a hundred and thirty and seven years.
Und dies sind die Namen der Söhne Levis nach ihren Geschlechtern: Gerson, Kehath und Merari; Levi aber wurde 137 Jahre alt.
17 The sons of Gershon [are] Libni, and Shimi, as to their families.
Die Söhne Gersons waren: Libni und Simei nach ihren Familien.
18 And the sons of Kohath [are] Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath [are] a hundred and thirty and three years.
Die Söhne Kehaths waren: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Ussiel; Kehath aber wurde 133 Jahre alt.
19 And the sons of Merari [are] Mahli and Mushi: these [are] families of Levi, as to their births.
Und die Söhne Meraris waren: Mahli und Musi; das sind die Familien Levis nach ihren Geschlechtern.
20 And Amram taketh Jochebed his aunt to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram [are] a hundred and thirty and seven years.
Amram aber heiratete seine Muhme Jochebed; die gebar ihm Aaron und Mose; Amram wurde dann 137 Jahre alt.
21 And sons of Izhar [are] Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
Die Söhne Jizhars aber waren: Korah, Nepheg und Sichri;
22 And sons of Uzziel [are] Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.
und die Söhne Ussiels waren: Misael, Elzaphan und Sithri.
23 And Aaron taketh Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she beareth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Aaron aber heiratete Eliseba, die Tochter Amminadabs, die Schwester Nahsons; die gebar ihm Nadab und Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
24 And sons of Korah [are] Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these [are] families of the Korhite.
Und die Söhne Korahs waren: Assir, Elkana und Abiasaph; dies sind die Familien der Korahiten.
25 And Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him [one] of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.
Eleasar aber, der Sohn Aarons, heiratete eine von den Töchtern Putiels; die gebar ihm den Pinehas. Dies sind die Stammhäupter der Leviten nach ihren Geschlechtern. –
26 This [is] Aaron — and Moses — to whom Jehovah said, 'Bring ye out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts;'
Dieser Aaron und dieser Mose sind es, denen der HERR geboten hatte: »Führt die Israeliten aus dem Lande Ägypten hinaus nach ihren Heerscharen!«
27 these are they who are speaking unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this [is] Moses — and Aaron.
Diese sind es, die mit dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, verhandelten, um die Israeliten aus Ägypten wegzuführen: dieser Mose und dieser Aaron.
28 And it cometh to pass in the day of Jehovah's speaking unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
Damals nun, als der HERR mit Mose im Lande Ägypten redete,
29 that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, 'I [am] Jehovah, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking unto thee.'
sagte der HERR zu Mose folgendes: »Ich bin der HERR! Vermelde dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, alles, was ich dir sagen werde.«
30 And Moses saith before Jehovah, 'Lo, I [am] of uncircumcised lips, and how doth Pharaoh hearken unto me?'
Mose aber antwortete vor dem HERRN: »Ach, ich bin im Reden ungewandt: wie sollte da der Pharao auf mich hören!«
