Exodus 40
1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
El Señor le dijo a Moisés:
2 'On the first day of the month, in the first month, thou dost raise up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,
“Levanta el Tabernáculo de Reunión, el primer día del primer mes del año.
3 and hast set there the ark of the testimony, and hast covered over the ark with the vail,
Coloca el Arca del Testimonio dentro de ella. Asegúrate de que el Arca esté detrás del velo.
4 and hast brought in the table, and set its arrangement in order, and hast brought in the candlestick, and caused its lamps to go up.
Trae la mesa y pon sobre ella lo que sea necesario. Trae también el candelabro y coloca sus lámparas.
5 'And thou hast put the golden altar for perfume before the ark of the testimony, and hast put the covering of the opening to the tabernacle,
Pon el altar de oro del incienso delante del Arca del Testimonio, y pon el velo a la entrada del Tabernáculo.
6 and hast put the altar of the burnt-offering before the opening of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,
Coloca el altar de los holocaustos frente a la entrada del Tabernáculo, el Tabernáculo de Reunión.
7 and hast put the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and hast put water there.
Coloca la palangana entre el Tabernáculo de Reunión y el altar, y pon agua en ella.
8 'And thou hast set the court round about, and hast placed the covering of the gate of the court,
“Prepara el patio que lo rodea y pon la cortina para la entrada del patio.
9 and hast taken the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle, and all that [is] in it, and hallowed it, and all its vessels, and it hath been holy;
“Usa el aceite de la unción para ungir el Tabernáculo y todo lo que hay en él. Dedícalo y todos sus muebles para hacerlo sagrado.
10 and thou hast anointed the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctified the altar, and the altar hath been most holy;
Unge el altar de los holocaustos y todos sus utensilios. Dedica el altar y será especialmente santo.
11 and thou hast anointed the laver and its base, and sanctified it.
Ungirás y dedicarás la pila con su soporte.
12 'And thou hast brought near Aaron and his sons unto the opening of the tent of meeting, and hast bathed them with water;
“Lleva a Aarón y a sus hijos a la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión y lávalos allí con agua.
13 and thou hast clothed Aaron with the holy garments, and anointed him, and sanctified him, and he hath acted as priest to Me.
Luegovistea Aarón con los vestidos sagrados, úngelo y dedícalo, para que me sirva de sacerdote.
14 'And his sons thou dost bring near, and hast clothed them with coats,
Que sus hijos se acerquen y los vistan con túnicas.
15 and anointed them as thou hast anointed their father, and they have acted as priests to Me, and their anointing hath been to be to them for a priesthood age-during, to their generations.'
Úngelos de la misma manera que ungiste a su padre, para que también me sirvan como sacerdotes. Su unción hará que su linaje de sacerdotes sea eterno, para las generaciones futuras”.
16 And Moses doth according to all that Jehovah hath commanded him; so he hath done.
Moisés llevó a cabo todas las instrucciones del Señor.
17 And it cometh to pass, in the first month, in the second year, in the first of the month, the tabernacle hath been raised up;
El tabernáculo se levantó el primer día del primer mes del segundo año.
18 and Moses raiseth up the tabernacle, and setteth its sockets, and placeth its boards, and placeth its bars, and raiseth its pillars,
Cuando Moisés levantó el tabernáculo, colocó sus soportes, fijó sus marcos, conectó sus travesaños y erigió sus postes.
19 and spreadeth the tent over the tabernacle, and putteth the covering of the tent upon it above, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Luego extendió la tienda sobre el tabernáculo y colocó la cubierta sobre la tienda, como el Señor le había ordenado.
20 And he taketh and putteth the testimony unto the ark, and setteth the staves on the ark, and putteth the mercy-seat on the ark above;
Moisés tomó el testimonio y lo puso en el arca. Ató los postes al Arca, y colocó la tapa de expiación en la parte superior del Arca.
21 and bringeth in the ark unto the tabernacle, and placeth the vail of the covering, and covereth over the ark of the testimony, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Luego llevó el Arca al Tabernáculo. Levantó el velo y se aseguró de que el Arca del Testimonio estuviera detrás de ella, como el Señor le había ordenado.
22 And he putteth the table in the tent of meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, at the outside of the vail,
Moisés colocó la mesa dentro del Tabernáculo de Reunión en el lado norte del Tabernáculo, fuera del velo.
23 and setteth in order upon it the arrangement of bread, before Jehovah, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Puso el pan sobre ella en presencia del Señor, como el Señor le había ordenado.
24 And he putteth the candlestick in the tent of meeting, over-against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward,
Colocó el candelabro en la tienda de la Reunión, frente a la mesa, en el lado sur del Tabernáculo
25 and causeth the lamps to go up before Jehovah, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
y levantó las lámparas en presencia del Señor, como el Señor le había ordenado.
26 And he setteth the golden altar in the tent of meeting, before the vail,
Moisés levantó el altar de oro en el Tabernáculo de Reunión, frente al velo,
27 and maketh perfume on it — spice-perfume — as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
y quemó incienso aromático en él, como el Señor le había ordenado.
28 And he setteth the covering of the opening to the tabernacle,
Luego levantó el velo a la entrada del Tabernáculo.
29 and the altar of the burnt-offering he hath set at the opening of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and causeth the burnt-offering to go up upon it, and the present, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Levantó el altar del holocausto cerca de la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión, y presentó el holocausto y la ofrenda de grano, como el Señor le había ordenado.
30 And he putteth the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and putteth water there for washing,
Puso la palangana entre el Tabernáculo de Reunión y el altar y puso agua para lavar.
31 and Moses and Aaron and his sons have washed their hands and their feet at the same;
Moisés, Aarón y sus hijos la usaron para lavarse las manos y los pies.
32 in their going in unto the tent of meeting, and in their drawing near unto the altar, they wash, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Se lavaban cada vez que entraban en el Tabernáculo de Reunión o se acercaban al altar, como el Señor le había ordenado a Moisés.
33 And he raiseth up the court round about the tabernacle, and about the altar, and placeth the covering of the gate of the court; and Moses completeth the work.
Moisés levantó el patio alrededor del Tabernáculo y del altar, y puso la cortina para la entrada del patio. Esto marcó el final del trabajo hecho por Moisés.
34 And the cloud covereth the tent of meeting, and the honour of Jehovah hath filled the tabernacle;
Entonces la nube cubrió la Tienda de la Reunión, y la gloria del Señor llenó el Tabernáculo.
35 and Moses hath not been able to go in unto the tent of meeting, for the cloud hath tabernacled on it, and the honour of Jehovah hath filled the tabernacle.
Moisés no pudo entrar en el Tabernáculo de Reunión porque la nube permaneció sobre ella, y la gloria del Señor llenó el Tabernáculo.
36 And in the going up of the cloud from off the tabernacle the sons of Israel journey in all their journeys;
Cada vez que la nube se levantaba del Tabernáculo, los israelitas se ponían en marcha de nuevo en su viaje.
37 and if the cloud go not up then they journey not, until the day of its going up:
Si la nube no se levantaba, no se ponían en marcha hasta que la nube se levantara.
38 for the cloud of Jehovah [is] on the tabernacle by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.
La nube del Señor permanecía sobre el Tabernáculo durante el día, y el fuego ardía dentro de la nube durante la noche, de modo que podía ser visto por todos los israelitas dondequiera que viajaran.
