Exodus 39
1 And of the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, they made coloured garments, to minister in the sanctuary; and they make the holy garments which [are] for Aaron, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Or Béséléel fit aussi d’hyacinthe, de pourpre, et d’écarlate et de lin fin, les vêtements dont devait être revêtu Aaron, quand il servait dans les lieux saints, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
2 And he maketh the ephod, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen,
Il fit donc l’éphod d’or, d’hyacinthe, de pourpre, d’écarlate deux fois teinte, et de fin lin retors,
3 and they expand the plates of gold, and have cut off wires to work in the midst of the blue, and in the midst of the purple, and in the midst of the scarlet, and in the midst of the linen — work of a designer;
D’un ouvrage de tisseur en diverses couleurs, et il tailla des feuilles d’or, et les réduisit en fils, pour qu’elles pussent être retordues dans le tissu des couleurs précédentes.
4 shoulder-pieces they have made for it, joining; at its two ends it is joined.
Il fit de plus les deux bords de l’éphod joints l’un à l’autre aux deux côtés des sommités,
5 And the girdle of his ephod which [is] on it is of the same, according to its work, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Et la ceinture des mêmes couleurs, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
6 And they prepare the shoham stones, set, embroidered [with] gold, opened with openings of a signet, by the names of the sons of Israel;
Il prépara aussi les deux pierres d’onyx, attachées et enchâssées dans de l’or et portant les noms des enfants d’Israël gravés selon l’art d’un lapidaire;
7 and he setteth them on the shoulders of the ephod — stones of memorial for the sons of Israel, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Puis il les plaça aux côtés de l’éphod, en souvenir des fils d’Israël, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
8 And he maketh the breastplate, work of a designer, like the work of the ephod, of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen;
Il fit encore le rational, d’un ouvrage de tisseur en diverses couleurs, selon le travail de l’éphod, d’or, d’hyacinthe, de pourpre, d’écarlate deux fois teinte, et de fin lin retors.
9 it hath been square; double they have made the breastplate, a span its length, and a span its breadth, doubled.
Il le fit carré, double, de la mesure d’une palme.
10 And they fill in it four rows of stones; a row of a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle [is] the one row;
Et il posa quatre rangs de pierres précieuses. À la première rangée il y avait une sardoine, une topaze, une émeraude;
11 and the second row an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;
À la seconde, une escarboucle, un saphir et un jaspe;
12 and the third row an opal, an agate, and an amethyst;
À la troisième, un ligure, une agate et une améthyste;
13 and the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper — set, embroidered [with] gold, in their settings.
À la quatrième, un chrysolithe, un onyx et un béryl, après les avoir environnés d’or et les y avoir enchâssés, selon leurs rangs.
14 And the stones, according to the names of the sons of Israel, are twelve, according to their names, openings of a signet, each according to his name, for the twelve tribes.
Et ces douze pierres elles-mêmes portaient gravés les douze noms des tribus d’Israël, chaque pierre chaque nom.
15 And they make on the breastplate wreathed chains, work of thick bands, of pure gold;
Ils firent aussi au rational deux chaînettes, se tenant l’une à l’autre, d un or très-pur;
16 and they make two embroidered things of gold, and two rings of gold, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate,
Deux agrafes et autant d’anneaux d’or. Or, ils posèrent aux deux côtés du rational les anneaux.
17 and they put the two thick bands of gold on the two rings on the ends of the breastplate;
Desquels pendaient les deux chaînes d’or qu’ils attachèrent aux agrafes qui sortaient des angles de l’éphod.
18 and the two ends of the two thick bands they have put on the two embroidered things, and they put them on the shoulders of the ephod, over-against its front.
Tout cela était ajusté devant et derrière, de manière que l’éphod et le rational se tenaient unis l’un à l’autre,
19 And they make two rings of gold, and set [them] on the two ends of the breastplate, on its border, which [is] on the side of the ephod within;
Etant serrés près de la ceinture, et fortement liés par des anneaux que joignaient ensemble un ruban d’hyacinthe, afin qu’ils ne fussent point lâches, et qu’ils ne s’écartassent pas l’un de l’autre, comme a ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
20 and they make two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulders of the ephod below, over-against its front, over-against its joining, above the girdle of the ephod;
Ils firent aussi la tunique de l’éphod toute d’hyacinthe,
21 and they bind the breastplate by its rings unto the rings of the ephod, with a ribbon of blue, to be above the girdle of the ephod, and the breastplate is not loosed from off the ephod, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Une ouverture à la partie supérieure vers le milieu, et un bord tissu autour de l’ouverture;
22 And he maketh the upper robe of the ephod, work of a weaver, completely of blue;
Mais au bas, vers les pieds, des grenades d’hyacinthe, de pourpre, d’écarlate et de fin lin retors;
23 and the opening of the upper robe [is] in its midst, as the opening of a habergeon, a border [is] to its opening round about, it is not rent;
Et des sonnettes d’un or pur, qu’ils posèrent entre les grenades, à la partie inférieure de la tunique, tout autour:
24 and they make on the hems of the upper robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, twined.
Une sonnette d’or et une grenade; c’est revêtu de ces ornements que le pontife exerçait les fonctions de son ministère, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
25 And they make bells of pure gold, and put the bells in the midst of the pomegranates, on the hems of the upper robe, round about, in the midst of the pomegranates;
Ils firent encore les tuniques tissues de fin lin pour Aaron et ses fils,
26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, [are] on the hems of the upper robe, round about, to minister in, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Les mitres avec leurs petites couronnes de fin lin;
27 And they make the coats of linen, work of a weaver, for Aaron and for his sons,
Et aussi de fin lin, les caleçons de lin,
28 and the mitre of linen, and the beautiful bonnets of linen, and the linen trousers, of twined linen,
Mais la ceinture de fin lin retors, d’hyacinthe, de pourpre et d’écarlate deux fois teintes, en broderie, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
29 and the girdle of twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, work of an embroiderer, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Ils firent de plus la lame de la sainte vénération, d’un or très pur, et ils y écrivirent en ouvrage de lapidaire: La sainteté du Seigneur;
30 And they make the flower of the holy crown of pure gold, and write on it a writing, openings of a signet, 'Holy to Jehovah;'
Et ils la lièrent à la mitre avec un ruban d’hyacinthe, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
31 and they put on it a ribbon of blue, to put [it] on the mitre above, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Ainsi, tout l’ouvrage du tabernacle et du toit de témoignage fut achevé; et les enfants d’Israël firent tout ce qu’avait ordonné le Seigneur à Moïse.
32 And all the service of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting is completed; and the sons of Israel do according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses; so they have done.
Et ils présentèrent le tabernacle et son toit et toutes ses dépendances, les anneaux, les ais, les leviers, les colonnes et les soubassements;
33 And they bring in the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all its vessels, its hooks, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets;
La couverture de peaux de béliers teintes en rouge, et l’autre couverture de peaux violettes;
34 and the covering of rams' skins, which are made red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering;
Le voile, l’arche, les leviers, le propitiatoire;
35 the ark of the testimony and its staves, and the mercy-seat;
La table et ses vases et les pains de proposition,
36 the table, all its vessels, and the bread of the presence;
Le chandelier, les lampes, et leurs ustensiles avec l’huile;
37 the pure candlestick, its lamps, the lamps of arrangement, and all its vessels, and the oil for the light.
L’autel d’or, le parfum à oindre et le parfum à brûler, composé d’aromates;
38 And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the spice-perfume, and the covering of the opening of the tent;
Le voile à l’entrée du tabernacle;
39 the brazen altar and the brazen grate which it hath, its staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its base.
L’autel d’airain, la grille, les leviers et tous ses vases; le bassin avec sa base; les rideaux du parvis, et les colonnes avec leurs soubassements;
40 The hangings of the court, its pillars, and its sockets; and the covering for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pins; and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
Le voile à l’entrée du parvis, ses cordages et ses pieux. Rien ne manqua des choses que, pour le service du tabernacle et pour le toit d’alliance. Dieu avait commandé de faire.
41 the coloured clothes to minister in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to act as priest in.
Et aussi les vêtements dont les prêtres se servent dans le sanctuaire, c’est-à-dire Aaron et ses fils,
42 According to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses, so have the sons of Israel done all the service;
Les enfants d’Israël les présentèrent, comme avait ordonné le Seigneur.
43 and Moses seeth all the work, and lo, they have done it as Jehovah hath commanded; so they have done. And Moses doth bless them.
Après que Moïse eut vu toutes ces choses achevées, il les bénit.
