Deuteronomy 33
1 And this [is] the blessing [with] which Moses the man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death,
यो आफ्नो मृत्युअगि परमेश्वरका मानिस मोशाले इस्राएलीहरूलाई दिएको आशिष् हो ।
2 and he saith: — 'Jehovah from Sinai hath come, And hath risen from Seir for them; He hath shone from mount Paran, And hath come [with] myriads of holy ones; At His right hand [are] springs for them.
तिनले भनेः “परमप्रभु सीनैबाट आउनुभयो, र तिनीहरूमाथि सेइरबाट उदय हुनुभयो । उहाँ पारान पर्वतबाट चम्कनुभयो, र उहाँ दसौँ हजार पवित्र जनसित आउनुभयो । उहाँको दाहिने हातमा बिजुलीको प्रकाश थियो ।
3 Also He [is] loving the peoples; All His holy ones [are] in thy hand, And they — they sat down at thy foot, [Each] He lifteth up at thy words.
वास्तवमा उहाँले मानिसहरूलाई प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ । उहाँका सबै पवित्र जन उहाँको हातमा छन्, र तिनीहरूले तपाईंको पाउमा शिर निहुराउँछन् । तिनीहरूले तपाईंका वचनहरू प्राप्त गरे ।
4 A law hath Moses commanded us, A possession of the assembly of Jacob.
मोशाले हामीलाई व्यवस्था दिए, जुन याकूबको समुदायको सम्पत्ति हो ।
5 And he is in Jeshurun king, In the heads of the people gathering together, The tribes of Israel!
तब मानिसका अगुवाहरू र इस्राएलका सबै कुल एकै ठाउँमा जम्मा हुँदा यशूरूनमा राजा हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।
6 Let Reuben live, and not die, And let his men be a number.
रूबेन बाँचून्, र नमरून, तर तिनका मानिसहरू थोरै होऊन् ।
7 And this [is] for Judah; and he saith: — Hear, O Jehovah, the voice of Judah, And unto his people do Thou bring him in; His hand hath striven for him, And an help from his adversaries art Thou.
यो यहूदाको निम्ति आशिष् हो । मोशाले भनेः हे परमप्रभु, यहूदाको सोर सुन्नुहोस्, र तिनलाई फेरि आफ्ना मानिसहरूकहाँ ल्याउनुहोस् । तिनको पक्षमा लड्नुहोस् । तिनका शत्रुहरूको विरुद्धमा सहायता बन्नुहोस् ।
8 And of Levi he said: — Thy Thummim and thy Urim [are] for thy pious one, Whom Thou hast tried in Massah, Thou dost strive with Him at the waters of Meribah;
लेवीको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः तपाईंको तुम्मीम र तपाईंको ऊरीम तपाईंको राजकीय जनसित छ, जसलाई तपाईंले मस्साहमा जाँच्नुभयो, जोसित तपाईंले मेरीबाको पानीमा झगडा गर्नुभयो ।
9 Who is saying of his father and his mother, I have not seen him; And his brethren he hath not discerned, And his sons he hath not known; For they have observed Thy saying, And Thy covenant they keep.
तिनले आफ्ना बुबा र आमाको विषयमा भने, “मैले उहाँहरूलाई देखेको छैनँ ।” न तिनले आफ्ना दाजुभाइहरूलाई स्वीकर गरे, न त तिनले आफ्नै सन्तानको वास्ता गरे । किनकि तिनले तपाईंको वचनको रखवाली गरे, र तपाईंको सन्दूकलाई सुरक्षा दिए ।
10 They teach Thy judgments to Jacob, And Thy law to Israel; They put perfume in Thy nose, And whole burnt-offering on Thine altar.
तिनले याकूबलाई तपाईंका विधिहरू र इस्राएललाई तपाईंको व्यवस्था सिकाउँछन् । तिनले तपाईंको सामु धूप बाल्छन्, र तपाईंको वेदीमा सबै होमबलि चढाउँछन् ।
11 Bless, O Jehovah, his strength, And the work of his hands Thou acceptest, Smite the loins of his withstanders, And of those hating him — that they rise not!
हे परमप्रभु, तिनका सबै सम्पत्तिमा आशिष् दिनुहोस्, र तिनका हातका काम स्वीकार गर्नुहोस् । तिनको विरुद्धमा खडा हुनेहरू र तिनलाई घृण गर्नेहरूका कम्मरमा हिर्काउनुहोस् ताकि तिनीहरू फेरि उठ्न नसकून् ।
12 Of Benjamin he said: — The beloved of Jehovah doth tabernacle confidently by him, Covering him over all the day; Yea, between his shoulders He doth tabernacle.
बेन्यामीनको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः परमप्रभुका प्रिय उहाँको छेउमा सुरक्षित रहून् । परमप्रभुले तिनको जीवनभर रक्षा गर्नुहुन्छ, र तिनी परमप्रभुको पाखुराको बिचमा बस्छन् ।
13 And of Joseph he said: — Blessed of Jehovah [is] his land, By precious things of the heavens, By dew, and by the deep crouching beneath,
योसेफको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः माथि आकाशबाट झर्ने अनमोल शीत र तल गहिराइको पानीले तिनको देश परमप्रभुद्वारा आशिषित् होस् ।
14 And by precious things — fruits of the sun, And by precious things — cast forth by the moons,
तिनको देश सूर्यको ताप र महिनैपिच्छेका उब्जनीका अनमोल कुराहरूले आशिषित् होस् ।
15 And by chief things — of the ancient mountains, And by precious things — of the age-during heights,
साथै, प्राचीन पर्वतहरूका उत्तम कुराहरू, र अनन्तका पर्वतहरूका अनमोल कुराहरूले आशिषित् होस् ।
16 And by precious things — of earth and its fulness, And the good pleasure Of Him who is dwelling in the bush, — Let it come for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of him Who is separate from his brethren.
तिनको देश पृथ्वीका अनमोल कुराहरू र यसको प्रचुरता अनि जलिरहेको पोथ्रामा बस्नुहुनेको निगाहले आशिषित् होस् । योसेफको शिरमा आशिष् आओस्, र आफ्ना दाजुभाइहरूमाथिका राजकुमारको शिरमा आशिष् आओस् ।
17 His honour [is] a firstling of his ox, And his horns [are] horns of a reem; By them peoples he doth push together To the ends of earth; And they [are] the myriads of Ephraim, And they [are] the thousands of Manasseh.
ऐश्वर्यमा तिनी पहिले बियाएका बाछोझैँ छन्, र तिनका सिङ अर्नाका सिङ हुन् । तीद्वारा नै तिनले सबै मानिसलाई पृथ्वीको पल्लो छेउसम्म हान्ने छन् । यी एफ्राइमका दसौँ हजार हुन् र मनश्शेका हजारौँ हुन् ।
18 And of Zebulun he said: — Rejoice, O Zebulun, in thy going out, And, O Issachar, in thy tents;
जबूलूनको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः ए जबूलून तिमी बाहिर जाँदा र ए इस्साखार तिमी आफ्ना पालहरूमा बस्दा आनन्दित होओ ।
19 Peoples [to] the mountain they call, There they sacrifice righteous sacrifices; For the abundance of the seas they suck, And hidden things hidden in the sand.
तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूलाई पर्वतमा बोलाउने छन् । त्यहाँ तिनीहरूले धार्मिकताका बलिदानहरू चढाउने छन् । किनकि तिनीहरूले समुद्रको प्रचुरता र समुद्रीतटको बालुको सम्पत्ति उपभोग गर्ने छन् ।
20 And of Gad he said: — Blessed of the Enlarger [is] Gad, As a lioness he doth tabernacle, And hath torn the arm — also the crown!
गादको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः गादलाई वृद्धि गर्ने धन्यका हुन् । त्यहाँ तिनी सिंहिनीझैँ बस्ने छन्, र तिनले मुखियाको पाखुरा लुछिदिने छन् ।
21 And he provideth the first part for himself, For there the portion of the lawgiver is covered, And he cometh [with] the heads of the people; The righteousness of Jehovah he hath done, And His judgments with Israel.
तिनले आफ्नो निम्ति सबैभन्दा उत्तम जग्गा छाने, किनकि नायकको हिस्सा तिनको निम्ति अलग गरिएको थियो । तिनी मानिसहरूका अगुवाहरूसँगै आए । तिनले इस्राएलसितै परमप्रभुको न्याय र उहाँका विधिहरू पुरा गरे ।
22 And of Dan he said: — Dan [is] a lion's whelp; he doth leap from Bashan.
दानको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः दान बाशानबाट हामफाल्दै आउने सिंहको डमरु हो ।
23 And of Naphtali he said: — O Naphtali, satisfied with pleasure, And full of the blessing of Jehovah, West and south possess thou.
नप्तालीको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः नप्ताली परमप्रभुको आशिष्को भरिपूर्णता र स्नेहद्वारा सन्तुष्ट भएका छन् । तिनले पश्चिम र दक्षिणको देश अधिकार गर्ने छन् ।
24 And of Asher he said: — Blessed with sons [is] Asher, Let him be accepted by his brethren, And dipping in oil his foot.
आशेरको विषयमा मोशाले भनेः आशेर अन्य छोराहरूमध्ये सबैभन्दा बढी आशिषित् होऊन् । तिनी आफ्ना दाजुभाइहरूकहाँ स्वीकारयोग्य होऊन्, र तिनले आफ्नो खुट्टा जैतूनको तेलमा धोऊन् ।
25 Iron and brass [are] thy shoes, And as thy days — thy strength.
तिनको सहरका बारहरू फलाम र काँसाका होऊन् । तिमी बाँचुञ्जेसम्म तिम्रो सुरक्षा हुने छ ।
26 There is none like the God of Jeshurun, Riding the heavens in thy help, And in His excellency the skies.
यशूरूनमा परमेश्वरजस्तो कोही छैन । उहाँ सत्य हुनुहुन्छ जो तिम्रो सहायताको लागि आफ्नो प्रतापमा बादलमाथि स्वर्गबाट सवार भएर आउनुहुन्छ ।
27 A habitation [is] the eternal God, And beneath [are] arms age-during. And He casteth out from thy presence the enemy, and saith, 'Destroy!'
अनन्त परमेश्वर शरणस्थान हुनुहुन्छ, र मुनितिरचाहिँ अनन्त पाखुरा छन् । उहाँले तिमीहरूका सामुन्नेबाट शत्रुलाई धपाउनुहुने छ, र उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “नाश पार्!”
28 And Israel doth tabernacle [in] confidence alone; The eye of Jacob [is] unto a land of corn and wine; Also His heavens drop down dew.
इस्राएल सुरक्षामा बस्यो । अन्न र नयाँ मद्यको देशमा याकूबको सन्तान सुरक्षित थियो । वास्तवमा तिनको आकाशले तिनमाथि शीत झारून् ।
29 O thy happiness, O Israel! who is like thee? A people saved by Jehovah, The shield of thy help, And He who [is] the sword of thine excellency: And thine enemies are subdued for thee, And thou on their high places dost tread.'
ए इस्राएल, तिम्रा आशिष्हरू अनगिन्ती छन् । परमप्रभुद्वारा बचाइएको जाति तिमीजस्तै को छ र? उहाँ तिम्रो सहायताको ढाल हुनुहुन्छ, र तिम्रो प्रतापको तरवार हुनुहुन्छ । तिम्रा शत्रुहरू काँप्दै तिमीकहाँ आउँछन् । तिमीले तिनीहरूका अग्ला-अग्ला ठाउँहरूमा कुल्चने छौ ।
