< Daniel 12 >
1 'And at that time stand up doth Michael, the great head, who is standing up for the sons of thy people, and there hath been a time of distress, such as hath not been since there hath been a nation till that time, and at that time do thy people escape, every one who is found written in the book.
“Mu biro ebyo Mikayiri omulangira omukulu akuuma abantu bo aligolokoka, ne yeeyimirira abantu bo. Waliba ekiseera eky’okubonaaboneramu ekitabangawo okuva ku kutondebwa kw’amawanga. Naye mu biro ebyo, omuntu aliba awandiikiddwa mu kitabo, alirokolebwa.
2 'And the multitude of those sleeping in the dust of the ground do awake, some to life age-during, and some to reproaches — to abhorrence age-during.
Bangi ku beebase mu nfuufu ey’ensi baligolokoka, abamu eri obulamu obutaggwaawo, n’abalala eri ensonyi n’okuswazibwa okutaggwaawo.
3 And those teaching do shine as the brightness of the expanse, and those justifying the multitude as stars to the age and for ever.
Abo abalina okutegeera balyakaayakana ng’okumasamasa kw’omu bbanga; n’abo abakyusa abangi okudda eri obutuukirivu, balyakaayakana ng’emmunyeenye emirembe n’emirembe.
4 And thou, O Daniel, hide the things, and seal the book till the time of the end, many do go to and fro, and knowledge is multiplied.'
Naye ggwe Danyeri, bikka era osse envumbo ku kitabo okutuusa ekiseera eky’enkomerero lwe kirituuka. Bangi balitambula eno n’eri, era n’okumanya n’amagezi kulyeyongera.”
5 And I have looked — I, Daniel — and lo, two others are standing, one here at the edge of the flood, and one there at the edge of the flood,
Nze Danyeri ne ndyoka ndaba, laba babiri abalala nga bayimiridde mu maaso gange, omu ku lubalama lw’omugga olumu, n’omulala ku lubalama lw’omugga olulwolekedde.
6 and he saith to the one clothed in linen, who [is] upon the waters of the flood, 'Till when [is] the end of these wonders?'
Omu ku bo n’agamba omusajja, eyali waggulu w’amazzi g’omugga ng’ayambadde linena nti, “Kiritwala bbanga ki ebyewuunyisa ebyo byonna okutuukirira?”
7 And I hear the one clothed in linen, who [is] upon the waters of the flood, and he doth lift up his right hand and his left unto the heavens, and sweareth by Him who is living to the age, that, 'After a time, times, and a half, and at the completion of the scattering of the power of the holy people, finished are all these.'
Omusajja eyali waggulu w’amazzi g’omugga ng’ayambadde linena, n’ayimusa omukono gwe ogwa ddyo n’omukono gwe ogwa kkono eri eggulu, ne mmuwulira ng’alayira eri oyo abeera omulamu emirembe n’emirembe, ng’ayogera nti, “Waliyitawo ebbanga lya myaka esatu n’ekitundu. Era amaanyi g’abantu abatukuvu bwe galimalibwawo, ebintu ebyo byonna ne biryoka bituukirira.”
8 And I have heard, and I do not understand, and I say, 'O my lord, what [is] the latter end of these?'
Ne mpulira naye ne sitegeera. Kyennava mbuuza nti, “Mukama wange, biki ebiriva mu ebyo byonna?”
9 And he saith, 'Go, Daniel; for hidden and sealed [are] the things till the time of the end;
N’anziramu nti, “Weetambulire makubo go, Danyeri, kubanga ebigambo bibikiddwako era n’ekitabo kissibbwako envumbo okutuusa ekiseera eky’enkomerero.
10 Purify themselves, yea, make themselves white, yea, refined are many: and the wicked have done wickedly, and none of the wicked understand, and those acting wisely do understand;
Bangi balitukuzibwa ne balongoosebwa obutabaako na bbala, naye abatali batuukirivu balyeyongera okukola ebibi. Ku batali batuukirivu tekuliba ategeera, naye ab’amagezi baliba n’okutegeera.
11 and from the time of the turning aside of the perpetual [sacrifice], and to the giving out of the desolating abomination, [are] days a thousand, two hundred, and ninety.
“N’okuva mu kiseera ekya ssaddaaka eya buli lunaku ng’eggyiddwawo n’eby’emizizo ebizikiriza nga biteekeddwawo, waliyitawo ennaku lukumi mu bibiri mu kyenda.
12 O the blessedness of him who is waiting earnestly, and doth come to the days, a thousand, three hundred, thirty and five.
Alina omukisa oyo alirindirira n’atuuka ku nkomerero ey’ennaku olukumi mu bisatu mu asatu mu ttaano.
13 And thou, go on to the end, then thou dost rest, and dost stand in thy lot at the end of the days.'
“Naye ggwe tambula makubo go okutuusa enkomerero lwe lituuka. Oliwummula, ne ku nkomerero oligolokoka n’oweebwa omugabo gwo gwe wategekerwa.”
