Colossians 4
1 The masters! that which is righteous and equal to the servants give ye, having known that ye also have a Master in the heavens.
യജമാനന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾക്കും സ്വർഗത്തിൽ ഒരു യജമാനനുണ്ടെന്നോർത്ത് ദാസരോടു നീതിയും ന്യായവും പുലർത്തുക.
2 In the prayer continue ye, watching in it in thanksgiving;
ജാഗ്രതയോടും നന്ദിയോടുംകൂടെ പ്രാർഥനയിൽ തുടരുക.
3 praying at the same time also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the secret of the Christ, because of which also I have been bound,
ഞാൻ തടവിലാകാൻ കാരണമായ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള രഹസ്യം ഇനിയും അറിയിക്കാൻ ദൈവം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വചനപ്രഘോഷണത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ഒരു വാതിൽ തുറന്നുതരണം.
4 that I may manifest it, as it behoveth me to speak;
എനിക്ക് അതു വേണ്ടുംപോലെ വ്യക്തമായി ഘോഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയുകയുംവേണം. ഇതിനായി ഞങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രാർഥിക്കുക.
5 in wisdom walk ye toward those without, the time forestalling;
ലഭിക്കുന്ന അവസരങ്ങളൊന്നും പാഴാക്കാതെ പരമാവധി പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് അവിശ്വാസികളോട് വിവേകപൂർവം പെരുമാറുക.
6 your word always in grace — with salt being seasoned — to know how it behoveth you to answer each one.
ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയോടും എങ്ങനെ ഉചിതമായി ഉത്തരം പറയണമെന്നു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ സംഭാഷണം ഉപ്പിനാൽ രുചി വരുത്തിയതുപോലെ, എപ്പോഴും കൃപ നിറഞ്ഞതായിരിക്കട്ടെ.
7 All the things concerning me make known to you shall Tychicus — the beloved brother, and faithful ministrant, and fellow-servant in the Lord —
പ്രിയസഹോദരനും കർത്താവിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തശുശ്രൂഷകനും സഹഭൃത്യനുമായ തിഹിക്കൊസ് എന്റെ വാർത്തയെല്ലാം നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കും.
8 whom I did send unto you for this very thing, that he might know the things concerning you, and might comfort your hearts,
ഞങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നവിവരം നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശ്വാസം പകരേണ്ടതിനാണ് ഞാൻ അയാളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്തേക്കയയ്ക്കുന്നത്.
9 with Onesimus the faithful and beloved brother, who is of you; all things to you shall they make known that [are] here.
നിങ്ങളിൽ ഒരാളായ ഒനേസിമൊസ് എന്ന വിശ്വസ്തനും പ്രിയനുമായ സഹോദരനോടൊപ്പമാണ് അദ്ദേഹം അങ്ങോട്ടു വരുന്നത്; ഇവിടത്തെ വസ്തുതകളെല്ലാം അവർ നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കും.
10 Salute you doth Aristarchus, my fellow-captive, and Marcus, the nephew of Barnabas, (concerning whom ye did receive commands — if he may come unto you receive him, )
എന്റെ സഹതടവുകാരനായ അരിസ്തർഹൊസും ബർന്നബാസിന്റെ ബന്ധുവായ മർക്കോസും നിങ്ങളെ അഭിവാദനംചെയ്യുന്നു. മർക്കോസിനെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങൾക്കു നിർദേശം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ. നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്വാഗതംചെയ്യുക.
11 and Jesus who is called Justus, who are of the circumcision: these only [are] fellow-workers for the reign of God who did become a comfort to me.
യുസ്തൊസ് എന്നു വിളിപ്പേരുള്ള യേശുവും നിങ്ങളെ വന്ദനംചെയ്യുന്നു. ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിനുവേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ സഹപ്രവർത്തകരിൽ ഇവർമാത്രമാണ് യെഹൂദന്മാർ. ഇവർ എനിക്ക് ആശ്വാസമായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
12 Salute you doth Epaphras, who [is] of you, a servant of Christ, always striving for you in the prayers, that ye may stand perfect and made full in all the will of God,
നിങ്ങളിൽ ഒരാളും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ദാസനുമായ എപ്പഫ്രാസ് നിങ്ങൾക്കു വന്ദനം നേരുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവഹിതത്തെപ്പറ്റി പൂർണനിശ്ചയമുള്ളവരായി നിലനിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന് അദ്ദേഹം നിങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി അത്യന്തം ജാഗ്രതയോടുകൂടെ നിരന്തരം പ്രാർഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
13 for I do testify to him, that he hath much zeal for you, and those in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.
നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും ലവൊദിക്യയിലും ഹിയരപ്പൊലിസിലും ഉള്ളവരെക്കുറിച്ചും അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു വളരെ ഹൃദയഭാരമുണ്ട് എന്നതിനു ഞാൻ സാക്ഷി.
14 Salute you doth Lukas, the beloved physician, and Demas;
നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയ വൈദ്യനായ ലൂക്കോസും ദേമാസും നിങ്ങളെ അഭിവാദനംചെയ്യുന്നു.
15 salute ye those in Laodicea — brethren, and Nymphas, and the assembly in his house;
ലവൊദിക്യയിലുള്ള സഹോദരങ്ങളെയും നുംഫയെയും അവരുടെ ഭവനത്തിലെ സഭയെയും എന്റെ സ്നേഹാന്വേഷണം അറിയിക്കുക.
16 and when the epistle may be read with you, cause that also in the assembly of the Laodiceans it may be read, and the [epistle] from Laodicea that ye also may read;
ഈ ലേഖനം നിങ്ങൾ വായിച്ചതിനുശേഷം ലവൊദിക്യസഭയിൽ വായിപ്പിക്കുകയും ലവൊദിക്യയിൽനിന്നുള്ള ലേഖനം നിങ്ങൾ വായിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യണം.
17 and say to Archippus, 'See to the ministration that thou didst receive in the Lord, that thou mayest fulfil it.'
“കർത്താവിൽ നിനക്കു ലഭിച്ച ശുശ്രൂഷ നിറവേറ്റുക” എന്ന് അർഹിപ്പൊസിനോടു പറയണം.
18 The salutation by the hand of me, Paul; remember my bonds; the grace [is] with you. Amen.
പൗലോസ് എന്ന ഞാൻ സ്വന്തം കൈകൊണ്ട് ഈ വന്ദനവചസ്സുകൾ എഴുതുന്നു. എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ ഓർക്കുക. കൃപ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.
