2 Samuel 9
1 And David saith, 'Is there yet any left to the house of Saul, and I do with him kindness because of Jonathan?'
“Nikhat David in adongin, Saul insung mite khat beh ahing naum nalai’u vem? Jonathan jal'a keiman khutona kamusah thei ding tin adongin ahile,
2 And the house of Saul hath a servant, and his name [is] Ziba, and they call for him unto David; and the king saith unto him, 'Art thou Ziba?' and he saith, 'Thy servant.'
Saul insunga soh natong ho lah a mi khat anaum khan ama chu amin Ziba akiti; Hichun lengpan jong amapa chu adongin, “Nang hi Ziba nahi hinam?” tin adongin ahileh. Hichun Ziba in jong adonbut in“Henge keima Ziba chu kahinai,” ati.
3 And the king saith, 'Is there not yet a man to the house of Saul, and I do with him the kindness of God?' And Ziba saith unto the king, 'Jonathan hath yet a son — lame.'
Chuin lengpan adongin, “Saul insung mi khat beh ahingdoh um nalailou ham? Aum leh, keiman Pathen mi khutona chu kamusah nom uve atileh; Ziban jong lengpa ahindonbut in, henge, “Jonathan chapa khat aum nan, ama hi akengphang te ni chatmoa kibai ahi,” atipeh e.
4 And the king saith to him, 'Where [is] he?' and Ziba saith unto the king, 'Lo, he [is] in the house of Machir, son of Ammiel, in Lo-Debar.'
Chuphat in lengpan jong, “Ama chu hoiya umham?” tin ahin dong tan ahileh; Ziban lengpa chu aseipeh in, “Ama chu Lodebar khoa Ammiel chapa Makir In a um ahi,” ati.
5 And king David sendeth, and taketh him out of the house of Machir son of Ammiel, of Lo-Debar,
Hichun David lengpan mi asolin, ama chu Makir In na konin agapuidoh sah tai.
6 and Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, son of Saul, cometh unto David, and falleth on his face, and doth obeisance, and David saith, 'Mephibosheth;' and he saith, 'Lo, thy servant.'
Hiti hin Saul tupa Jonathan chapa Mephibosheth kitipa chu David koma ahungin alu kunin jana apen ahi. Chuin David chun ahoupin, “Mephibosheth atileh; aman jong, “keima nasohpa kahi,” tin adonbut’e.
7 And David saith to him, 'Be not afraid; for I certainly do with thee kindness because of Jonathan thy father, and have given back to thee all the field of Saul thy father, and thou dost eat bread at my table continually.'
Hichun David’in akoma hitin aseiye, “Kicha hih in, keiman napa Jonathan jal a nanghi kakhoto ding, chujongle khatvei napu Saul neilegou anahikhasa jouse chu aboncha nangma kapeh kit ding nahi; chule nangman hiche leng ankong phunga hi keima toh an naneh khom ding ahiye,” ati.
8 And he boweth himself, and saith, 'What [is] thy servant, that thou hast turned unto the dead dog — such as I?'
Hichun Mephibosheth jong chun jana ape kit’in aseikit’e, “Nasohpa kei hi ipi kahiya nangin hiche uicha thisa tobang chunga hi khutona neimusah khoh ding ham?” atitai.
9 And the king calleth unto Ziba servant of Saul, and saith unto him, 'All that was to Saul and to all his house, I have given to the son of thy lord,
David lengpan Saul sohpa Ziba chu akouvin akoma hitin aseipeh’e, “Ipi hijongle Saul thilkeo anei jouse leh ama insung mite nei jouse chu aboncha hiche napu chapa hi kapeh ahitai.
10 and thou hast served for him the land, thou and thy sons, and thy servants, and hast brought in, and there hath been to the son of thy lord bread, and he hath eaten it; and Mephibosheth son of thy lord doth eat continually bread at my table;' and Ziba hath fifteen sons and twenty servants.
Hijeh a chu napu chapa hin anneh akimu jouna dinga nangma le nachapate, chule nasohten ama dinga lou nabol peh dingu ahin, alousoh ga nahin poh pehji dingu ahi; ahin hiche Mephibosheth napu tupa vang hin keima ankong phunga an aneh jing jeng ding ahi,” tin thu apetai. Ziba kitipa hin chapa som le nga ananeiyin, soh jong som ni jen aneiyin ahi.
11 And Ziba saith unto the king, 'According to all that my lord the king commandeth his servant, so doth thy servant;' as to Mephibosheth, 'he is eating at my table ([saith the king]) as one of the sons of the king.'
Chuin Ziba in lengpa koma aseijin, “Kapu lengpan nasohpa keima neithupeh bang bang chun nasohpa hin gabol nange,” ati. Hiti chun hiche nikho apet chun Mephobisheth hin lengpa chate lah a khatpen bang in David ankong phunga chun an anejing jeng tan ahi.
12 And Mephibosheth hath a young son, and his name [is] Micha, and every one dwelling in the house of Ziba [are] servants to Mephibosheth.
Mephibosheth jong hin chapa gollhang khat aneiyin, amin jong chu Mica ahi. Chunikho apet chun Mephibosheth soh natong din Ziba insung mite abonchan apang tauvin ahi.
13 And Mephibosheth is dwelling in Jerusalem, for at the table of the king he is eating continually, and he [is] lame of his two feet.
Hiti hin Mephibosheth akengphang te ni kibai pachu Jerusalem a achangin, chule aniseh in leng ankong ah an anejing tan ahi.
