2 Samuel 22
1 And David speaketh to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah hath delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul,
யெகோவா அவனை எல்லாப் பகைவரின் கைகளிலிருந்தும் சவுலின் கையிலிருந்தும் விடுவித்தபோது இப்பாடலின் வார்த்தைகளை தாவீது யெகோவாவுக்குப் பாடினான்.
2 and he saith: 'Jehovah [is] my rock, And my bulwark, and a deliverer to me,
அவன் சொன்னது: “யெகோவா என் கன்மலை, என் கோட்டை, என்னை விடுவிக்கிறவர்;
3 My God [is] my rock — I take refuge in Him; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, My high tower, and my refuge! My Saviour, from violence Thou savest me!
என் இறைவன் நான் தஞ்சம் அடையும் என் கன்மலை, என் கேடயம், என் மீட்பின் கொம்பு. என் அரண், என் அடைக்கலம், நீர் என்னை வன்முறையாளர்களிடமிருந்து காப்பாற்றுகிற என் இரட்சகர்.
4 The Praised One, I call Jehovah: And from mine enemies I am saved.
“துதிக்கப்படத்தக்கவரான யெகோவாவை நோக்கி நான் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; என் பகைவரிடமிருந்து நான் காப்பாற்றப்படுகிறேன்.
5 When the breakers of death compassed me, The streams of the worthless terrify me,
மரண அலைகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டன, அழிவின் அலைகள் என்னை அமிழ்த்திவிட்டன.
பிரேதக் குழியின் கயிறுகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டன; மரணத்தின் கண்ணிகள் என்னை எதிர்த்து வந்தன. (Sheol h7585)
7 In mine adversity I call Jehovah, And unto my God I call, And He heareth from His temple my voice, And my cry [is] in His ears,
“என் துயரத்தில் நான் யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன். என் இறைவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன். அவர் தமது ஆலயத்திலிருந்து என் குரலைக் கேட்டார். என் அழுகுரல் அவர் செவிகளில் எட்டியது.
8 And shake and tremble doth the earth, Foundations of the heavens are troubled, And are shaken, for He hath wrath!
பூமி நடுங்கி அதிர்ந்து, வானத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் அசைந்தன; அவர் கோபமடைந்ததால் அவை நடுங்கின.
9 Gone up hath smoke by His nostrils. And fire from His mouth devoureth, Brands have been kindled by it.
அவருடைய நாசியிலிருந்து புகை எழும்பிற்று; அவருடைய வாயிலிருந்து சுட்டெரிக்கும் நெருப்புப் புறப்பட்டது; நெருப்புத் தழல் அதிலிருந்து தெறித்தன.
10 And He inclineth heaven, and cometh down, And thick darkness [is] under His feet.
அவர் வானங்களைப் பிரித்து, கீழே இறங்கினார்; கார்மேகங்கள் அவருடைய பாதங்களின்கீழ் இருந்தன.
11 And He rideth on a cherub, and doth fly, And is seen on the wings of the wind.
அவர் கேருபீனின்மேல் ஏறிப் பறந்தார்; அவர் காற்றின் சிறகுகளைக்கொண்டு பறந்தார்.
12 And He setteth darkness Round about Him — tabernacles, Darkness of waters — thick clouds of the skies.
அவர் இருளைத் தன்னைச் சுற்றி ஒரு கூடாரமாக்கினார். வானத்தின் இருண்ட மழைமேகங்கள் அவரைச் சுற்றியிருந்தது.
13 From the brightness before Him Were brands of fire kindled!
அவரின் சமுகத்தின் பிரகாசத்திலிருந்து மின்னலின் தாக்குதல் வீசுண்டன.
14 Thunder from the heavens doth Jehovah, And the Most High giveth forth His voice.
யெகோவா வானத்திலிருந்து இடியை முழக்கினார்; மகா உன்னதமானவரின் குரல் எதிரொலித்தது.
15 And He sendeth forth arrows, And scattereth them; Lightning, and troubleth them;
அவர் தமது அம்புகளை எய்து பகைவரைச் சிதறடித்தார்; மின்னல் கீற்றுக்களை அனுப்பி, அவர்களை முறியடித்தார்.
16 And seen are the streams of the sea, Revealed are foundations of the world, By the rebuke of Jehovah, From the breath of the spirit of His anger.
யெகோவாவினுடைய நாசியிலிருந்து வந்த மூச்சின் தாக்கத்தாலும் அவரின் கண்டிப்பினாலும் கடல்களின் அடிப்பரப்பு வெளிப்பட்டன; பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் வெளியே தெரிந்தன.
17 He sendeth from above — He taketh me, He draweth me out of many waters.
“அவர் என்னை உயரத்திலிருந்து எட்டிப் பிடித்தார்; ஆழமான தண்ணீரிலிருந்து என்னை வெளியே தூக்கினார்.
18 He delivereth me from my strong enemy, From those hating me, For they were stronger than I.
அவர் சக்திவாய்ந்த என் பகைவனிடமிருந்தும் என்னிலும் அதிகம் பலமான எதிரிகளிடமிருந்தும் என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.
19 They are before me in a day of my calamity, And Jehovah is my support,
அவர்கள் என்னுடைய பேராபத்தின் நாளிலே, எனக்கெதிராய் எழுந்தார்கள்; ஆனால் யெகோவா என் ஆதரவாயிருந்தார்.
20 And He bringeth me out to a large place, He draweth me out for He delighted in me.
அவர் என்னை விசாலமான ஒரு இடத்திற்கு வெளியே கொண்டுவந்தார்; அவர் என்னில் பிரியமாய் இருந்தபடியால் என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.
21 Jehovah recompenseth me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He doth return to me.
“யெகோவா என் நீதிக்கு ஏற்றபடி என்னை நடத்தியிருக்கிறார்; என் கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்கு தக்கதாய், அவர் எனக்குப் பலனளித்திருக்கிறார்.
22 For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not done wickedly against my God.
ஏனெனில் நான் யெகோவாவினுடைய வழிகளை கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்; என் இறைவனைவிட்டு விலகி நான் குற்றம் செய்யவில்லை.
23 For all His judgments [are] before me, As to His statutes, I turn not from them.
அவருடைய நீதிநெறிகள் அனைத்தும் எனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கின்றன; அவருடைய விதிமுறைகளிலிருந்து நான் விலகவேயில்லை.
24 And I am perfect before Him, And I keep myself from mine iniquity.
நான் அவருக்கு முன்பாக குற்றமற்றவனாக இருந்து, பாவத்திலிருந்து என்னை விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.
25 And Jehovah returneth to me, According to my righteousness, According to my cleanness before His eyes.
யெகோவா என் நீதிக்கு ஏற்றவாறு பலனளித்திருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய பார்வையில் நான் குற்றமற்றவனாயிருந்தேன்.
26 With the kind Thou shewest Thyself kind, With the perfect man Thou shewest Thyself perfect,
“உண்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு நீர் உம்மை உண்மையுள்ளவராகவே காண்பிக்கிறீர்; உத்தமர்களுக்கு நீர் உம்மை உத்தமராகவே காண்பிக்கிறீர்.
27 With the pure Thou shewest Thyself pure, And with the perverse Thou shewest Thyself a wrestler.
தூய்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு நீர் உம்மைத் தூய்மையுள்ளவராகவேக் காண்பிக்கிறீர்; ஆனால் கபடமுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ நீர் உம்மை விவேகமுள்ளவராய்க் காண்பிக்கிறீர்.
28 And the poor people Thou dost save, And Thine eyes on the high causest to fall.
நீர் தாழ்மையுள்ளோரைக் காப்பாற்றுகிறீர்; ஆனால் உம்முடைய கண்கள் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தும்.
29 For Thou [art] my lamp, O Jehovah, And Jehovah doth lighten my darkness.
யெகோவாவே, நீர் என் விளக்கு; யெகோவா என் இருளை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறார்.
30 For by Thee I run — a troop, By my God I leap a wall.
உமது உதவியுடன் என்னால் ஒரு படையை எதிர்த்து முன்னேற முடியும்; என் இறைவனுடன் ஒரு மதிலைத் தாண்டுவேன்.
31 God! Perfect [is] His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield He [is] to all those trusting in Him.
“இறைவனுடைய வழி முழு நிறைவானது: யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தையோ குறைபாடற்றது; அவரிடத்தில் தஞ்சமடைவோர் அனைவருக்கும் அவர் கேடயமாயிருக்கிறார்.
32 For who is God save Jehovah? And who a Rock save our God?
யெகோவாவைத்தவிர இறைவன் யார்? நமது இறைவனேயல்லாமல் வேறு கன்மலை யார்?
33 God — my bulwark, [my] strength, And He maketh perfect my way;
இறைவன் எனக்கு பெலமுள்ள கோட்டையாய் இருந்து, என் வழியை குறைவற்றதாய் ஆக்குகிறார்.
34 Making my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand,
அவர் என் கால்களை மானின் கால்களைப் போல துரிதப்படுத்தி, உயர்ந்த இடங்களில் என்னை நிற்கப்பண்ணுகிறார்.
35 Teaching my hands for battle, And brought down was a bow of brass by mine arms,
யுத்தம் செய்ய என் கைகளைப் பயிற்றுவிக்கிறார்; என் கரங்களால் ஒரு வெண்கல வில்லையும் வளைக்க முடியும்.
36 And Thou givest to me the shield of Thy salvation, And Thy lowliness maketh me great.
நீர் உமது இரட்சிப்பை எனக்கு கேடயமாகத் தந்தீர், உமது உதவி என்னைப் பெரியவனாக்குகிறது.
37 Thou enlargest my step under me, And mine ankles have not slidden.
என் கணுக்கால்கள் புரளாதபடி, நான் நடக்கும் பாதையை நீர் அகலமாக்குகிறீர்.
38 I pursue mine enemies and destroy them, And I turn not till they are consumed.
“நான் என் பகைவரை துரத்திச்சென்று, அவர்களை அழித்துப்போட்டேன்; அவர்கள் முற்றிலும் அழியும்வரை, நான் திரும்பி வரவில்லை.
39 And I consume them, and smite them, And they rise not, and fall under my feet.
அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்காதபடி நான் அவர்களை முழுவதும் நசுக்கினேன்; அவர்கள் என் காலடியில் விழுந்தார்கள்.
40 And Thou girdest me [with] strength for battle, Thou causest my withstanders to bow under me.
யுத்தம் செய்வதற்கான வல்லமையை நீர் எனக்குத் தரிப்பித்தீர்; என் எதிரிகளை எனக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்த்தினீர்.
41 And mine enemies — Thou givest to me the neck, Those hating me — and I cut them off.
நீர் என் பகைவரை புறமுதுகிட்டு ஓடச்செய்தீர்; நான் அவர்களை அழித்தேன்.
42 They look, and there is no saviour; Unto Jehovah, and He hath not answered them.
அவர்கள் உதவிகேட்டு கூப்பிட்டார்கள், ஆனால் அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்ற ஒருவருமே இருக்கவில்லை; யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள், அவரோ பதில் கொடுக்கவில்லை.
43 And I beat them as dust of the earth, As mire of the streets I beat them small — I spread them out!
நான் அவர்களை அடித்துப் பூமியின் புழுதியைப்போலாக்கினேன்; நான் அவர்களை மிதித்து வீதியிலுள்ள சேற்றைப்போல் வெளியே வாரியெறிந்தேன்.
44 And — Thou dost deliver me From the strivings of my people, Thou placest me for a head of nations; A people I have not known do serve me.
“நீர் மக்களின் தாக்குதல்களிலிருந்து என்னை விடுவித்திருக்கிறீர்; நாடுகளுக்கு என்னைத் தலைவனாக வைத்திருக்கிறீர். நான் அறியாத மக்கள் எனக்கு கீழ்ப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.
45 Sons of a stranger feign obedience to me, At the hearing of the ear they hearken to me.
வேறுநாட்டைச் சேர்ந்தவரும் எனக்கு முன்பாக அடங்கி ஒடுங்குகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் என்னைக் குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டவுடனே எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறார்கள்.
46 Sons of a stranger fade away, And gird themselves by their close places.
அவர்கள் அனைவரும் மனந்தளர்ந்து, தங்கள் அரண்களிலிருந்து நடுக்கத்துடன் வருகிறார்கள்.
47 Jehovah liveth, and blessed [is] my Rock, And exalted is my God — The Rock of my salvation.
“யெகோவா வாழ்கிறார்! என் கன்மலையானவருக்குத் துதி உண்டாவதாக! என் கன்மலையும் இரட்சகருமாகிய இறைவன் உயர்த்தப்படுவாராக!
48 God — who is giving vengeance to me, And bringing down peoples under me,
எனக்காகப் பழிவாங்கும் இறைவன் அவரே, நாடுகளை எனக்குக்கீழ் வைக்கிறவர் அவரே.
49 And bringing me forth from mine enemies, Yea, above my withstanders Thou raisest me up. From a man of violence Thou deliverest me.
அவர் என்னை என் பகைவரிடமிருந்து விடுவித்தார். யெகோவாவே நீர் என்னை என் எதிரிகளுக்கு மேலாக உயர்த்தியிருக்கிறீர். என்னை வன்முறையாளர்களிடமிருந்து பாதுகாத்தீர்.
50 Therefore I confess Thee, O Jehovah, among nations. And to Thy name I sing praise.
ஆகையால் யெகோவாவே, நாடுகளுக்கு மத்தியில் நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது பெயருக்குத் துதிகள் பாடுவேன்.
51 Magnifying the salvations of His king, And doing loving-kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed — unto the age!'
“அவர் தாம் ஏற்படுத்திய அரசனுக்கு மாபெரும் வெற்றிகளைக் கொடுக்கிறார்; அவர் தாம் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணின தாவீதுக்கும் அவனுடைய சந்ததிகளுக்கும் தமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பை என்றைக்கும் காண்பிக்கிறார்.”
