2 Samuel 22
1 And David speaketh to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah hath delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul,
യഹോവ ദാവീദിനെ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ എല്ലാ ശത്രുക്കളുടെയും ശൗലിന്റെയും കൈകളിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ച അവസരത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചു.
2 and he saith: 'Jehovah [is] my rock, And my bulwark, and a deliverer to me,
അദ്ദേഹം പാടി: “യഹോവ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ വിമോചകനും ആകുന്നു;
3 My God [is] my rock — I take refuge in Him; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, My high tower, and my refuge! My Saviour, from violence Thou savest me!
എന്റെ ദൈവം എന്റെ ശില, അങ്ങയിൽ ഞാൻ അഭയംതേടുന്നു, എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ സുരക്ഷിതസ്ഥാനവും അവിടന്നാണ്, എന്റെ അഭയസ്ഥാനവും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനുംതന്നെ— അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ക്രൂരതയിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
4 The Praised One, I call Jehovah: And from mine enemies I am saved.
“സ്തുത്യർഹനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ രക്ഷനേടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
5 When the breakers of death compassed me, The streams of the worthless terrify me,
മരണത്തിരമാലകൾ എനിക്കുചുറ്റും ആർത്തിരമ്പി; നാശപ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകി.
പാതാളത്തിന്റെ കയറുകൾ എന്നെ വരിഞ്ഞുകെട്ടി; മരണക്കുരുക്കുകൾ എന്റെമേൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു. (Sheol h7585)
7 In mine adversity I call Jehovah, And unto my God I call, And He heareth from His temple my voice, And my cry [is] in His ears,
“എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ഞാൻ നിലവിളിച്ചു. തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു. എന്റെ നിലവിളി അവിടത്തെ കാതുകളിൽ എത്തി.
8 And shake and tremble doth the earth, Foundations of the heavens are troubled, And are shaken, for He hath wrath!
ഭൂമി പ്രകമ്പനത്താൽ കുലുങ്ങി, ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വിറകൊണ്ടു; അവിടത്തെ കോപത്താൽ അവ ഇളകിയാടി.
9 Gone up hath smoke by His nostrils. And fire from His mouth devoureth, Brands have been kindled by it.
അവിടത്തെ നാസാരന്ധ്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ധൂമപടലമുയർന്നു; സംഹാരാഗ്നി അവിടത്തെ വായിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെട്ടു, തീക്കനലുകൾ അവിടെ കത്തിജ്വലിച്ചു.
10 And He inclineth heaven, and cometh down, And thick darkness [is] under His feet.
അവിടന്ന് ആകാശം ചായ്ച്ച് ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു; കാർമുകിലുകൾ അവിടത്തെ തൃപ്പാദങ്ങൾ താങ്ങിനിന്നു.
11 And He rideth on a cherub, and doth fly, And is seen on the wings of the wind.
അവിടന്നു കെരൂബിൻമുകളിലേറി പറന്നു; കാറ്റിൻചിറകേറി അങ്ങ് കുതിച്ചുയർന്നു.
12 And He setteth darkness Round about Him — tabernacles, Darkness of waters — thick clouds of the skies.
അവിടന്ന് അന്ധകാരത്തെ തനിക്കുചുറ്റും വിതാനമാക്കി നിർത്തി— ആകാശത്തിലെ കൊടുംകാർമുകിലുകളെത്തന്നെ.
13 From the brightness before Him Were brands of fire kindled!
അവിടത്തെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൻ പ്രഭയിൽനിന്ന് മിന്നൽപ്പിണരുകൾ കത്തിജ്വലിച്ചു.
14 Thunder from the heavens doth Jehovah, And the Most High giveth forth His voice.
യഹോവ സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നു മേഘനാദം മുഴക്കി; പരമോന്നതൻ തന്റെ ശബ്ദംകേൾപ്പിച്ചു.
15 And He sendeth forth arrows, And scattereth them; Lightning, and troubleth them;
അവിടന്നു തന്റെ അസ്ത്രമയച്ച് ശത്രുക്കളെ ചിതറിച്ചു, മിന്നൽപ്പിണരുകളാൽ അവരെ തുരത്തിയോടിച്ചു.
16 And seen are the streams of the sea, Revealed are foundations of the world, By the rebuke of Jehovah, From the breath of the spirit of His anger.
സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടുകൾ ദൃശ്യമാക്കപ്പെട്ടു ഭൂമിയുടെ അസ്തിവാരം അനാവൃതമാക്കപ്പെട്ടു യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ ശാസനയാൽ, അങ്ങയുടെ നാസികയിൽനിന്നുള്ള നിശ്വാസത്താൽത്തന്നെ.
17 He sendeth from above — He taketh me, He draweth me out of many waters.
“അവിടന്ന് ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്ന് കൈനീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു; പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു.
18 He delivereth me from my strong enemy, From those hating me, For they were stronger than I.
ശക്തരായ എന്റെ ശത്രുവിൽനിന്ന്, എന്റെ വൈരിയിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു, അവർ എന്നെക്കാൾ പ്രബലരായിരുന്നു.
19 They are before me in a day of my calamity, And Jehovah is my support,
എന്റെ അനർഥനാളുകളിൽ അവർ എന്നോട് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി, എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എന്നെ താങ്ങിനിർത്തി.
20 And He bringeth me out to a large place, He draweth me out for He delighted in me.
അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നിൽ പ്രസാദിച്ചതിനാൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു.
21 Jehovah recompenseth me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He doth return to me.
“എന്റെ നീതിക്ക് അനുസൃതമായി യഹോവ എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലംതന്നു; എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ നിർമലതയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ച് അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ആദരിച്ചു.
22 For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not done wickedly against my God.
കാരണം ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ പാതകളിൽത്തന്നെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ വിട്ടകലുമാറ് ഞാൻ ദോഷം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചില്ല.
23 For all His judgments [are] before me, As to His statutes, I turn not from them.
അവിടത്തെ ന്യായവിധികളെല്ലാം എന്റെ മുൻപിലുണ്ട്; അവിടത്തെ ഉത്തരവുകളിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ വ്യതിചലിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
24 And I am perfect before Him, And I keep myself from mine iniquity.
തിരുമുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ നിഷ്കളങ്കതയോടെ ജീവിച്ചു ഞാൻ പാപത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്വയം അകന്നുനിൽക്കുന്നു.
25 And Jehovah returneth to me, According to my righteousness, According to my cleanness before His eyes.
എന്റെ നീതിക്കനുസൃതമായി യഹോവ എനിക്കു പാരിതോഷികം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ എന്നിലുള്ള വിശുദ്ധിക്കനുസരിച്ചുതന്നെ.
26 With the kind Thou shewest Thyself kind, With the perfect man Thou shewest Thyself perfect,
“വിശ്വസ്തരോട് അവിടന്ന് വിശ്വസ്തത കാട്ടുന്നു, നിഷ്കളങ്കരോട് അവിടന്ന് നിഷ്കളങ്കതയോടെ ഇടപെടുന്നു.
27 With the pure Thou shewest Thyself pure, And with the perverse Thou shewest Thyself a wrestler.
നിർമലരോട് അവിടന്ന് നിർമലതയോടും എന്നാൽ വക്രതയുള്ളവരോട് അവിടന്ന് കൗശലത്തോടും പെരുമാറുന്നു.
28 And the poor people Thou dost save, And Thine eyes on the high causest to fall.
വിനയാന്വിതരെ അവിടന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നാൽ നിഗളിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നവരെ താഴ്ത്തേണ്ടതിന് അങ്ങ് അവരുടെമേൽ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുന്നു.
29 For Thou [art] my lamp, O Jehovah, And Jehovah doth lighten my darkness.
യഹോവേ, അവിടന്നാണ് എന്റെ വിളക്ക്; യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശപൂരിതമാക്കുന്നു.
30 For by Thee I run — a troop, By my God I leap a wall.
അങ്ങയുടെ സഹായത്താൽ എനിക്കൊരു സൈന്യത്തിനെതിരേ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലാൻ കഴിയും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താൽ എനിക്കു കോട്ടമതിൽ ചാടിക്കടക്കാം.
31 God! Perfect [is] His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield He [is] to all those trusting in Him.
“ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മാർഗം പൂർണതയുള്ളത്: യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കുറ്റമറ്റത്; തന്നിൽ അഭയം തേടുന്നവരെയെല്ലാം അവിടന്ന് സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
32 For who is God save Jehovah? And who a Rock save our God?
യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളൂ? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമല്ലാതെ ആ ശില ആരാണ്?
33 God — my bulwark, [my] strength, And He maketh perfect my way;
ശക്തിയാൽ യഹോവ എന്നെ യുദ്ധസജ്ജനാക്കുന്നു എന്റെ വഴി സുരക്ഷിതമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു ദൈവമാണ്.
34 Making my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand,
അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാൻപേടയുടെ കാലുകൾക്കു സമമാക്കുന്നു; ഉന്നതികളിൽ പാദമൂന്നിനിൽക്കാൻ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
35 Teaching my hands for battle, And brought down was a bow of brass by mine arms,
എന്റെ കരങ്ങളെ അവിടന്ന് യുദ്ധമുറകൾ പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ കൈകൾക്കു വെങ്കലവില്ലുകുലയ്ക്കാൻ കഴിവുലഭിക്കുന്നു.
36 And Thou givest to me the shield of Thy salvation, And Thy lowliness maketh me great.
അവിടത്തെ രക്ഷ എനിക്കു പരിചയായി നൽകി; അവിടത്തെ സഹായം എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
37 Thou enlargest my step under me, And mine ankles have not slidden.
അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ കാലടികൾക്കായി രാജവീഥി ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു, അതിനാൽ എന്റെ കണങ്കാലുകൾ വഴുതുന്നതുമില്ല.
38 I pursue mine enemies and destroy them, And I turn not till they are consumed.
“ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിൻതുടർന്നു, ഞാൻ അവരെ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അവരെ ഉന്മൂലനംചെയ്യുന്നതുവരെ ഞാൻ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.
39 And I consume them, and smite them, And they rise not, and fall under my feet.
ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റുവരാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ നിശ്ശേഷം തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അവരെന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ വീണടിഞ്ഞു.
40 And Thou girdest me [with] strength for battle, Thou causest my withstanders to bow under me.
ശക്തിയാൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ യുദ്ധസജ്ജനാക്കുന്നു അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എന്റെ പാദത്തിൽ നമിക്കുന്നവരാക്കിത്തീർത്തു.
41 And mine enemies — Thou givest to me the neck, Those hating me — and I cut them off.
യുദ്ധത്തിൽ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ അങ്ങ് പുറംതിരിഞ്ഞോടുമാറാക്കി, എന്റെ എതിരാളികളെ ഞാൻ സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
42 They look, and there is no saviour; Unto Jehovah, and He hath not answered them.
സഹായത്തിനായവർ കേണപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്നാൽ അവരെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല— യഹോവയോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്നാൽ അവിടന്ന് ഉത്തരം നൽകിയതുമില്ല.
43 And I beat them as dust of the earth, As mire of the streets I beat them small — I spread them out!
ഞാൻ അവരെ പൊടിച്ച് ഭൂമിയിലെ പൊടിപടലംപോലെയാക്കി; തെരുക്കോണിലെ ചെളിപോലെ ഞാനവരെ ചവിട്ടിക്കുഴച്ചു.
44 And — Thou dost deliver me From the strivings of my people, Thou placest me for a head of nations; A people I have not known do serve me.
“എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ആക്രമണങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾക്ക് അധിപതിയായി വേർതിരിച്ചു; ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു,
45 Sons of a stranger feign obedience to me, At the hearing of the ear they hearken to me.
വിദേശികൾ എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ നടുങ്ങുന്നു; അവരെന്നെ കേൾക്കുന്നമാത്രയിൽത്തന്നെ അനുസരിക്കുന്നു.
46 Sons of a stranger fade away, And gird themselves by their close places.
അവരുടെ ആത്മധൈര്യം ചോർന്നുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഒളിത്താവളങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് വിറച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പുറത്തുവരുന്നു.
47 Jehovah liveth, and blessed [is] my Rock, And exalted is my God — The Rock of my salvation.
“യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു! എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടട്ടെ! എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും പാറയുമായ എന്റെ ദൈവം അത്യുന്നതൻ.
48 God — who is giving vengeance to me, And bringing down peoples under me,
അവിടന്ന് എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരംചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം, അവിടന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളെ എനിക്കു വിധേയപ്പെടുത്തി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു,
49 And bringing me forth from mine enemies, Yea, above my withstanders Thou raisest me up. From a man of violence Thou deliverest me.
അവിടന്നെന്നെ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ വൈരികൾക്കുമേൽ അവിടന്നെന്നെ ഉയർത്തി; അക്രമികളിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്നെന്നെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു.
50 Therefore I confess Thee, O Jehovah, among nations. And to Thy name I sing praise.
അതുകൊണ്ട്, യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യേ പുകഴ്ത്തും; അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിനു സ്തുതിപാടും.
51 Magnifying the salvations of His king, And doing loving-kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed — unto the age!'
“അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ രാജാവിനു മഹാവിജയം നൽകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ അഭിഷിക്തനോട് അചഞ്ചലമായ ദയ പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, ദാവീദിനോടും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾക്കും എന്നേക്കുംതന്നെ.”
