2 Kings 7
1 And Elisha saith, 'Hear ye a word of Jehovah: thus said Jehovah, About this time to-morrow, a measure of fine flour [is] at a shekel, and two measures of barley at a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.'
১ইলীচাই ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই যি কৈছে, তাক শুনক। যিহোৱাই কৈছে, ‘অহাকালি, প্রায় এনে সময়ত চমৰিয়া নগৰৰ দুৱাৰ মুখত এক চেয়া পৰিমাণৰ ময়দা আৰু দুই চেয়া পৰিমাণৰ যৱ কেৱল এক চেকলকৈ বিক্রী হ’ব।
2 And the captain whom the king hath, by whose hand he hath been supported, answereth the man of God and saith, 'Lo, Jehovah is making windows in the heavens — shall this thing be?' and he saith, 'Lo, thou art seeing it with thine eyes, and thereof thou dost not eat.'
২তেতিয়া যিজন সেনাপতিৰ সাহার্যৰ ওপৰত ৰজা নির্ভৰ কৰিছিল, তেওঁ সেই ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকক উত্তৰ দিলে, “চাওঁক, যিহোৱাই যদি আকাশৰ খিড়িকিবোৰো খুলি দিয়ে, তথাপিও জানো এনেকুৱা হ’ব পাৰে?” উত্তৰত ইলীচাই ক’লে, “চাই থাকক, আপুনি নিজৰ চকুৰে তাক দেখিব, কিন্তু আপুনি তাৰ অলপো খাবলৈ নাপাব।”
3 And four men have been leprous, at the opening of the gate, and they say one unto another, 'What — we are sitting here till we have died;
৩সেই সময়ত নগৰৰ প্রৱেশদ্বাৰৰ বাহিৰত চাৰিজন কুষ্ঠৰোগত আক্রান্ত লোক আছিল; তেওঁলোকে ইজনে সিজনক ক’লে, “আমি নমৰালৈকে ইয়াতে কিয় বহি থাকিব লাগে?
4 if we have said, We go in to the city, then the famine [is] in the city, and we have died there; and if we have sat here, then we have died; and now, come and we fall unto the camp of Aram; if they keep us alive, we live, and if they put us to death — we have died.'
৪আমি যদি কওঁ যে, নগৰলৈকে সোমাই যাওঁ, তেন্তে তাতো আকাল হৈছে আৰু আমি সেই ঠাইতো মৰিম। এতিয়া ইয়াতো যদি বহি থাকোঁ, তেন্তে ইয়াতো মৰিম। এই হেতুকে আহাঁ, আমি অৰামীয়াসকলৰ ছাউনিলৈকে যাওঁ; তেওঁলোকে যদি আমাক জীয়াই ৰাখে, তেন্তে জী থাকিম আৰু যদি মাৰে, তেন্তে মৰিম।”
5 And they rise in the twilight, to go in unto the camp of Aram, and they come in unto the extremity of the camp of Aram, and lo, there is not a man there,
৫কথামতে সেইদিনা সন্ধিয়াৰ সময়ত কুষ্ঠৰোগী কেইজন অৰামীয়াসকলৰ ছাউনিত গৈ উপস্থিত হ’ল। তেওঁলোকে ছাউনিৰ কাষলৈ গৈ তাত কাকো দেখা নাপালে।
6 seeing Jehovah hath caused the camp of Aram to hear a noise of chariot and a noise of horse — a noise of great force, and they say one unto another, 'Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of Egypt, to come against us.'
৬কিয়নো তেতিয়া অৰামীয়া সৈন্যসকলক যিহোৱাই অনেক ৰথ, ঘোঁৰা আৰু আন বিশাল সৈন্যদলৰ শব্দ শুনাইছিল আৰু সেয়ে, অৰামীয়া সৈন্যসকলৰ এজনে আন জনক ক’বলৈ ধৰিলে, “চোৱা, আমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আক্ৰমণ কৰিবৰ কাৰণে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই হিত্তীয়া আৰু মিচৰীয় ৰজাসকলক পইচা দি আনিছে।”
7 And they rise and flee in the twilight, and forsake their tents, and their horses, and their asses — the camp as it [is] — and flee for their life.
৭সেইবাবে তেওঁলোকে সন্ধিয়া হওঁতেই নিজৰ তম্বু, ঘোঁৰা আৰু গাধ সকলোবোৰ এৰি থৈ পলাই গৈছিল আৰু ছাউনি যেনে আছিল, তেনেকৈয়েই এৰি থৈ তেওঁলোক প্রাণৰ ভয়ত পলাই গৈছিল।
8 And these lepers come in unto the extremity of the camp, and come in unto one tent, and eat, and drink, and lift up thence silver, and gold, and garments, and go and hide; and they turn back and go in unto another tent, and lift up thence, and go and hide.
৮তাৰবাবে কুষ্ঠৰোগী কেইজনে ছাউনিৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ এটা তম্বুৰ ভিতৰত সোমাই খোৱা-বোৱা কৰিলে আৰু তাৰ পৰা সোণ, ৰূপ আৰু কাপোৰ-কানিবোৰ লৈ গৈ লুকুৱাই ৰাখিলে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে পুনৰ ঘূৰি আহি আন এটা তম্বুত সোমাই তাৰ পৰাও বহুত বস্তু লৈ গৈ লুকুৱাই ৰাখিলে।
9 And they say one unto another, 'We are not doing right this day; a day of tidings it [is], and we are keeping silent; and — we have waited till the light of the morning, then hath punishment found us; and now, come and we go in and declare to the house of the king.'
৯পাছত তেওঁলোকে ইজনে সিজনে কোৱাকুই কৰিলে, “আমি হ’লে ভাল কাম কৰা নাই। আজিৰ এই দিনটো হৈছে এটা সুখবৰৰ দিন আৰু আমি এই বিষয়ে কাকো একো নকৈ মনে মনে আছোঁ। যদি আমি ৰাতিপুৱালৈকে পলম কৰি থাকোঁ, তেন্তে শাস্তি আমাৰ ওপৰতে আহিব; সেয়ে, ব’লা আমি এতিয়াই ৰাজগৃহত কথাটো জনাওঁগৈ।”
10 And they come in, and call unto the gatekeeper of the city, and declare for themselves, saying, 'We have come in unto the camp of Aram, and lo, there is not there a man, or sound of man, but the bound horse, and the bound ass, and tents as they [are].'
১০তাতে তেওঁলোকে গৈ প্রৱেশদ্বাৰৰ প্রহৰীসকলক মাতি ক’লে, “আমি অৰামীয়াসকলৰ ছাউনিলৈ গৈছিলোঁ; তাত কোনো মানুহ নাই আৰু কাৰো সাৰ-শব্দও নাই; কেৱল ঘোঁৰা আৰু গাধবোৰ বন্ধা আছে, আৰু তম্বুবোৰো যেনে আছিল তেনেভাৱেই আছে।”
11 and he calleth the gatekeepers, and they declare to the house of the king within.
১১প্রৱেশদ্বাৰৰ প্রহৰীসকলে এই সম্বাদ চিঞঁৰি চিঞঁৰি জনাই দিলে আৰু পাছত ৰাজগৃহৰ ভিতৰতো জনোৱা হ’ল।
12 And the king riseth by night, and saith unto his servants, 'Let me declare, I pray you, to you that which the Aramaeans have done to us; they have known that we are famished, and they are gone out from the camp to be hidden in the field, saying, When they come out from the city, then we catch them alive, and unto the city we enter.'
১২তেতিয়া ৰজাই ৰাতি উঠি তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰক ক’লে, “মই এতিয়া তোমালোকক ক’ম যে, অৰামীয়াসকলে আমালৈ কি কৰিছে। আমি যে ভোকত আছোঁ অৰামীয়াসকলে জানে আৰু সেইবাবে তেওঁলোকে ছাউনি এৰি পথাৰৰ মাজত গৈ লুকাই আছে। তেওঁলোকে ভাৱিছে, ‘ইস্রায়েলীয়াসকল যেতিয়া নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই আহিব, তেতিয়া আমি তেওঁলোকক জীৱিত অৱস্থাতে ধৰিম আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ নগৰৰ ভিতৰত সোমাম’।”
13 And one of his servants answereth and saith, 'Then let them take, I pray thee, five of the horses that are left, that have been left in it — lo, they [are] as all the multitude of Israel who have been left in it; lo, they are as all the multitude of Israel who have been consumed — and we send and see.'
১৩তেতিয়া ৰজাৰ এজন দাসে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “মই আপোনাক মিনতি কৰোঁ, কেইজনমান লোকক নগৰত যি কেইটা ঘোঁৰা অৱশিষ্ট আছে, তাৰ মাজৰ পৰা পাচঁটা ঘোঁৰা লৈ যাবলৈ দিয়ক। যিহেতু ইস্রায়েলৰ অধিক লোকেই মৰিল। ইয়াত অৱশিষ্ট থকা সকলো ইস্রায়েলবাসীৰ দৰে তেওঁলোকৰো মৃত্যু হ’ব। সেয়ে কি ঘটিছে, তাক চাবলৈ আমি তেওঁলোকক পঠিয়াই দিওঁ।”
14 And they take two chariot-horses, and the king sendeth after the camp of Aram, saying, 'Go, and see.'
১৪তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ঘোঁৰাবোৰেৰে সৈতে দুখন ৰথ ল’লে, আৰু ৰজাই অৰামীয়া সৈন্যবোৰৰ সন্ধানত তেওঁলোকক পঠিয়াই দি ক’লে, “তোমালোকে গৈ চাই আঁহাগৈ।”
15 And they go after them unto the Jordan, and lo, all the way is full of garments and vessels that the Aramaeans have cast away in their haste, and the messengers turn back and declare to the king.
১৫তাতে তেওঁলোকে যৰ্দ্দন নদী পর্যন্ত অৰামীয়াসকলক বিচাৰি গৈ দেখিলে যে অৰামীয়াসকলে লৰালৰিকৈ পলাই যোৱাৰ কাৰণে গোটেই পথটোতে কাপোৰ-কানি আৰু বস্তু-বাহানিবোৰ পৰি ভৰি আছিল। যিসকলক পঠোৱা হৈছিল, তেওঁলোকে উভটি আহি ৰজাৰ আগত এই সকলো সম্বাদ দিলে।
16 And the people go out and spoil the camp of Aram, and there is a measure of fine flour at a shekel, and two measures of barley at a shekel, according to the word of Jehovah.
১৬তেতিয়া লোকসকলে বাহিৰলৈ গৈ অৰামীয়াসকলৰ ছাউনি লুট কৰিলে; তাতে যিহোৱাৰ বাক্যৰ দৰে, এক চেয়া পৰিমাণৰ ময়দা এক চেকল ৰূপত আৰু দুই চেয়া পৰিমান যৱ ধান এক চেকল ৰূপত বিক্রী হ’ল।
17 And the king hath appointed the captain, by whose hand he is supported, over the gate, and the people tread him down in the gate, and he dieth, as the man of God spake, which he spake in the coming down of the king unto him,
১৭যিজন সেনাপতিৰ সাহার্যৰ হাতত ৰজা নির্ভৰশীল আছিল, সেই সেনাপতিজনক ৰজাই নগৰৰ দুৱাৰ পৰিদর্শনৰ ভাৰ দিলে; কিন্তু লোক সকলে হুৰমূৰকৈ নগৰৰ বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই যাওঁতে প্রৱেশদ্বাৰৰ পথতে লোক সকলৰ ভৰিৰ গচকত তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল। ঈশ্বৰৰ লোক ইলীচাৰ ওচৰলৈ ৰজা যেতিয়া নামি অহিছিল, তেতিয়া ইলীচাই ৰজাক যি কথা কৈছিল, সেনাপতিজন সেইদৰেই মৰিল।
18 yea, it cometh to pass, according to the speaking of the man of God unto the king, saying, 'Two measures of barley at a shekel, and a measure of fine flour at a shekel are, at this time to-morrow, in the gate of Samaria;'
১৮ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকে ৰজাক যি কৈছিলে সেইভাৱেই এই ঘটনাটো ঘটিল। তেওঁ কৈছিল, “অহাকালি এনে সময়ত চমৰিয়াৰ দুৱাৰ মুখত দুই চেয়া যৱ ধান এক চেকলত, আৰু এক চেয়া ময়দা এক চেকলত বেচা যাব।”
19 and the captain answereth the man of God, and saith, 'And lo, Jehovah is making windows in the heavens — it is according to this word?' and he saith, 'Lo, thou art seeing with thine eyes, and thereof thou dost not eat;'
১৯সেই সেনাপতিয়ে উত্তৰত ঈশ্বৰৰ লোকক কৈছিল, “চাওঁক, যিহোৱাই যদি আকাশৰ খিড়িকিবোৰো খুলি দিয়ে, তথাপিও জানো এনেকুৱা হ’ব পাৰে?” ইলীচাই কৈছিল, “চাই থাকক, আপুনি নিজৰ চকুৰে তাক দেখিব, কিন্তু আপুনি তাৰ অলপো খাবলৈ নাপাব।”
20 and it cometh to him so, and the people tread him down in the gate, and he dieth.
২০তেওঁলৈ ঠিক তেনেদৰেই ঘটিল। কিয়নো দুৱাৰৰ পথত লোকসকলৰ ভৰিৰ গচকত তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল।
