2 Kings 6
1 And sons of the prophet say unto Elisha, 'Lo, we pray thee, the place where we are dwelling before thee is too strait for us;
Oo qoonkii nebiyada ahaana waxay Eliishaa ku yidhaahdeen, Bal eeg, meesha hortaada ah ee aannu deggan nahay waa nagu cidhiidhi.
2 let us go, we pray thee, unto the Jordan, and we take thence each one beam, and we make for ourselves there a place to dwell there;' and he saith, 'Go.'
Haddaba waannu ku baryaynaaye aannu tagno xagga Urdun oo halkaas nin waluba dogob ha ka qaado, oo aannu halkaas ka dhisanno meel aan degno. Oo isna wuxuu ugu jawaabay, Orda oo taga.
3 And the one saith, 'Be pleased, I pray thee, and go with thy servants;' and he saith, 'I — I go.'
Oo midba wuxuu yidhi, Waan ku baryayaaye raalli ahow oo na raac annagoo addoommadaada ah. Oo isna wuxuu ugu jawaabay, Waan idin raacayaa.
4 And he goeth with them, and they come in to the Jordan, and cut down the trees,
Sidaas daraaddeed wuu raacay. Oo iyana markay Urdun yimaadeen ayay geedo jareen.
5 and it cometh to pass, the one is felling the beam, and the iron hath fallen into the water, and he crieth and saith, 'Alas! my lord, and it asked!'
Laakiinse midba intuu qori jarayay ayaa faaskii intii birta ahayd biyihii ku dhex dhacday, oo isna intuu qayliyey ayuu yidhi, Sayidkaygiiyow, hoogay! Waayo, deyn buu igu ahaa.
6 And the man of God saith, 'Whither hath it fallen?' and he sheweth him the place, and he cutteth a stick, and casteth thither, and causeth the iron to swim,
Markaasaa ninkii Ilaah wuxuu yidhi, War xaggee bay ku dhacday? Oo isna markaasuu meeshii tusay. Markaasuu ul soo goostay oo meeshii ku riday, birtiina waa soo dabaalatay.
7 and saith, 'Raise to thee;' and he putteth forth his hand and taketh it.
Wuxuuna yidhi, War haddaba soo qaado. Sidaas daraaddeed gacantii buu fidiyey oo soo qaatay.
8 And the king of Aram hath been fighting against Israel, and taketh counsel with his servants, saying, 'At such and such a place [is] my encamping.'
Haddaba boqorkii Suuriya wuxuu la diriray dadkii Israa'iil, oo intuu addoommadiisii la tashaday ayuu ku yidhi, Meesha saa iyo saa ah ayaa xeradaydu ahaan doonta.
9 And the man of God sendeth unto the king of Israel, saying, 'Take heed of passing by this place, for thither are the Aramaeans coming down;
Markaasaa ninkii Ilaah u cid diray boqorkii dalka Israa'iil oo wuxuu ku yidhi, War iska jir oo ha soo marin meesha saas ah, waayo, reer Suuriya meeshaasay ku dhaadhacayaan.
10 and the king of Israel sendeth unto the place of which the man of God spake to him, and warned him, and he is preserved there not once nor twice.
Oo boqorkii dalka Israa'iilna cid buu u diray meeshii ninkii Ilaah isaga u sheegay oo uu uga digay, oo isna intuu halkaas iska nabadgeliyey mar iyo laba toona ma aha.
11 And the heart of the king of Aram is tossed about concerning this thing, and he calleth unto his servants, and saith unto them, 'Do ye not declare to me who of us [is] for the king of Israel?'
Oo boqorkii Suuriyana qalbigiisu waxyaalahan aad buu uga welwelsanaa; oo wuxuu isugu yeedhay addoommadiisii, oo ku yidhi, War maad ii sheegtaan midkeenna la jira boqorkii dalka Israa'iil?
12 And one of his servants saith, 'Nay, my lord, O king, for Elisha the prophet, who [is] in Israel, declareth to the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in the inner part of thy bed-chamber.'

13 And he saith, 'Go ye and see where he [is], and I send and take him;' and it is declared to him, saying, 'Lo — in Dothan.'

14 And he sendeth thither horses and chariot, and a heavy force, and they come in by night, and go round against the city.
Sidaas daraaddeed wuxuu halkaas u diray fardo, iyo gaadhifardood, iyo ciidan faro badan; oo iyana intay habeennimo yimaadeen ayay magaaladii hareereeyeen.
15 And the servant of the man of God riseth early, and goeth out, and lo, a force is surrounding the city, and horse and chariot, and his young man saith unto him, 'Alas! my lord, how do we do?'
Oo ninkii Ilaah shaqeeyihiisii markuu aroortii soo toosay oo uu baxay, bal eeg, waxaa la arkay ciidan fardo iyo gaadhifardood wata oo magaaladii ku wareegsan. Markaasaa midiidinkiisii wuxuu isagii ku yidhi, Sayidow, hoogaye! sidee baynu yeeli doonnaa?
16 And he saith, 'Fear not, for more [are] they who [are] with us than they who [are] with them.'
Oo isna wuxuu ugu jawaabay, Ha cabsan, waayo, kuwa inala jiraa way ka sii badan yihiin kuwa iyaga la jira.
17 And Elisha prayeth, and saith, 'Jehovah, open, I pray Thee, his eyes, and he doth see;' and Jehovah openeth the eyes of the young man, and he seeth, and lo, the hill is full of horses and chariots of fire, round about Elisha.
Markaasaa Eliishaa baryootamay oo yidhi, Rabbiyow, waxaan kaa baryayaa inaad ninkan indhaha u furtid wax ha arkee. Markaasaa Rabbigu ninkii dhallinyarada ahaa indhihii u furay, wax buuna arkay; oo wuxuu u jeeday fardo iyo gaadhifardood dab ah oo buurta ka buuxa ee Eliishaa ku wareegsan.
18 And they come down unto it, and Elisha prayeth unto Jehovah, and saith, 'Smite, I pray Thee, this nation with blindness;' and He smiteth them with blindness, according to the word of Elisha.
Oo iyana markay isagii u soo dhaadhaceen ayaa Eliishaa Rabbiga baryay oo yidhi, Rabbiyow, waxaan kaa baryayaa inaad dadkan indhabbeel ku riddid. Oo isna indhabbeel ayuu ugu riday sidii eraygii Eliishaa u ahaa.
19 And Elisha saith unto them, 'This [is] not the way, nor [is] this the city; come after me, and I lead you unto the man whom ye seek;' and he leadeth them to Samaria.
Markaasaa Eliishaa wuxuu iyagii ku yidhi, War jidkanu ma aha jidkii, magaaladanuna ma aha magaaladii. Haddaba i soo raaca oo waxaan idiin geeynayaa ninkaad doonaysaan. Oo isna wuxuu u hor kacay xagga Samaariya.
20 And it cometh to pass, at their coming in to Samaria, that Elisha saith, 'Jehovah, open the eyes of these, and they see;' and Jehovah openeth their eyes, and they see, and lo, in the midst of Samaria!
Oo markay Samaariya soo galeen ayaa Eliishaa yidhi, Rabbiyow, nimankan indhaha u fur, wax ha arkeene. Kolkaasaa Rabbigu indhaha u furay, wax bayna arkeen, oo waxay u jeedeen inay Samaariya dhex joogaan.
21 And the king of Israel saith unto Elisha, at his seeing them, 'Do I smite — do I smite — my father?'
Markaasaa boqorkii dalka Israa'iil wuxuu Eliishaa ku yidhi markuu nimankii arkay, Aabbahayow, miyaan laayaa? Miyaan laayaa?
22 And he saith, 'Thou dost not smite; those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow art thou smiting? set bread and water before them, and they eat, and drink, and go unto their lord.'
Oo isna wuxuu ugu jawaabay, Maya, waa inaadan layn. Ma layn lahayd kuwaad ku soo qabsatay seeftaada iyo qaansadaada? Waxaad soo hor dhigtaa kibis iyo biyo ay cunaan oo ay cabbaan, oo dabadeedna ha u tageen sayidkoodii.
23 And he prepareth for them great provision, and they eat and drink, and he sendeth them away, and they go unto their lord: and troops of Aram have not added any more to come in to the land of Israel.
Markaasuu wuxuu iyagii u diyaariyey cunto badan, oo markay wax cuneen oo wax cabbeen ayuu iska diray, oo sayidkoodii bay u tageen. Oo guutooyinkii reer Suuriyana mar dambe ma soo gelin dalkii Israa'iil.
24 And it cometh to pass afterwards, that Ben-Hadad king of Aram gathereth all his camp, and goeth up, and layeth siege to Samaria,
Oo taas dabadeed Benhadad oo ahaa boqorkii Suuriya wuxuu soo wada urursaday ciidankiisii oo dhan, oo intuu soo kacay ayuu Samaariya hareereeyey.
25 and there is a great famine in Samaria, and lo, they are laying siege to it, till the head of an ass is at eighty silverlings, and a forth of the cab of dovesdung at five silverlings.
Oo Samaariyana abaar weyn baa ku dhacday, oo bal eeg iyana waxay hareeraha ka joogeen ilaa madax dameer lagu iibiyey siddeetan sheqel oo lacag ah, oo qab rubuciis digo qolley ahna lagu iibiyey shan sheqel oo lacag ah.
26 And it cometh to pass, the king of Israel is passing by on the wall, and a woman hath cried unto him, saying, 'Save, my lord, O king.'
Oo boqorkii dalka Israa'iil oo derbiga dul maraya ayaa naagu u qayshatay oo ku tidhi, Boqorow, sayidkaygiiyow, i caawi.
27 And he saith, 'Jehovah doth not save thee — whence do I save thee? out of the threshing-floor, or out of the wine-vat?'
Oo isna wuxuu ku yidhi, Naa haddii uusan Rabbigu ku caawin, anigu xaggee baan kaa caawinayaa? Naa ma waxaan kaa caawinayaa meesha hadhuudhka lagu tumo; mase meesha canabka lagu tuujiyo?
28 And the king saith to her, 'What — to thee?' and she saith, 'This woman said unto me, Give thy son, and we eat him to-day, and my son we eat to-morrow;
Markaasaa boqorkii wuxuu iyadii ku yidhi, Naa maxaa ku helay? Oo iyana waxay ugu jawaabtay, Naagtan waxay igu tidhi, Naa wiilkaaga na sii aan maanta cunnee oo wiilkaygana berri baannu wada cuni doonnaa.
29 and we boil my son and eat him, and I say unto her on the next day, Give thy son, and we eat him; and she hideth her son.'
Sidaas daraaddeed wiilkaygii waan karsannay oo waannu cunnay; markaasaan maalintii dambe iyadii ku idhi, Naa wiilkaagii na sii aan cunnee; laakiinse iyadu way qarisay wiilkeedii.
30 And it cometh to pass, at the king's hearing the words of the woman, that he rendeth his garments, and he is passing by on the wall, and the people see, and lo, the sackcloth [is] on his flesh within.
Oo markii boqorkii naagtii hadalkeedii maqlay ayuu dharkiisii dildillaaciyey; (oo markaas wuxuu dul marayay derbiga), oo dadkiina way wada arkayeen inuu jidhkiisii ku guntaday joonyado.
31 And he saith, 'Thus doth God do to me, and thus He doth add — if it remain — the head of Elisha son of Shaphat — upon him this day.'
Oo markaasuu yidhi, Ilaah saas iyo si ka sii daranba ha igu sameeyo, haddii Eliishaa ina Shaafaad madaxiisu maanta ku sii yaallo.
32 And Elisha is sitting in his house, and the elders are sitting with him, and [the king] sendeth a man from before him; before the messenger doth come unto him, even he himself said unto the elders, 'Have ye seen that this son of the murderer hath sent to turn aside my head? see, at the coming in of the messenger, shut the door, and ye have held him fast at the door, is not the sound of the feet of his lord behind him?'
Oo Eliishaana markaas wuxuu dhex fadhiyey gurigiisii, oo odayaashiina way la fadhiyeen; oo boqorkiina nin buu iska soo hor mariyey; laakiinse ninkii wargeeyska ahaa intuusan isagii u iman ayuu Eliishaa odayaashii ku yidhi, War bal eega siduu kan gacankudhiigluhu dhalay cid ugu soo diray in madaxa layga gooyo? War markii wargeeysku yimaado albaabka xidha, oo dib ugu celiya albaabka. War waxa ka dambeeya sow ma aha sanqadhii cagihii sayidkiisa?
33 He is yet speaking with them, and lo, the messenger is coming down unto him, and he saith, 'Lo, this [is] the evil from Jehovah: what — do I wait for Jehovah any more?'
Oo intuu iyagii weli la hadlayay ayaa wargeeyskii u soo dhaadhacay; oo isna wuxuu yidhi, Belaayadanu xagga Rabbigay ka timid; haddaba maxaan Rabbiga weli u sii sugaa?
