2 Corinthians 11
1 O that ye were bearing with me a little of the folly, but ye also do bear with me:
Quisiera que me soportaras en una pequeña tontería, pero en verdad me soportas.
2 for I am zealous for you with zeal of God, for I did betroth you to one husband, a pure virgin, to present to Christ,
Porque estoy celoso de vosotros con celos piadosos. Porque os prometí en matrimonio a un solo esposo, para presentaros como una virgen pura a Cristo.
3 and I fear, lest, as the serpent did beguile Eve in his subtilty, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that [is] in the Christ;
Pero tengo miedo de que, de alguna manera, como la serpiente engañó a Eva con su astucia, así vuestras mentes se corrompan de la simplicidad que hay en Cristo.
4 for if, indeed, he who is coming doth preach another Jesus whom we did not preach, or another Spirit ye receive which ye did not receive, or other good news which ye did not accept — well were ye bearing [it],
Porque si el que viene predica a otro Jesús que nosotros no predicamos, o si recibís un espíritu diferente que no recibisteis, o una “buena noticia” diferente que no aceptasteis, lo soportáis bien.
5 for I reckon that I have been nothing behind the very chiefest apostles,
Pues considero que no estoy en absoluto por detrás de los mejores apóstoles.
6 and even if unlearned in word — yet not in knowledge, but in every thing we were made manifest in all things to you.
Pero aunque soy poco hábil en la palabra, no lo soy en el conocimiento. No, en todos los sentidos nos hemos revelado a vosotros en todas las cosas.
7 The sin did I do — myself humbling that ye might be exalted, because freely the good news of God I did proclaim to you?
¿O acaso cometí un pecado al humillarme para que ustedes sean exaltados, porque les prediqué gratuitamente la Buena Nueva de Dios?
8 other assemblies I did rob, having taken wages, for your ministration;
He robado a otras asambleas, recibiendo el sueldo para poder servirles a vosotros.
9 and being present with you, and having been in want, I was chargeable to no one, for my lack did the brethren supply — having come from Macedonia — and in everything burdenless to you I did keep myself, and will keep.
Cuando estaba presente con vosotros y tenía necesidad, no era una carga para nadie, pues los hermanos, cuando venían de Macedonia, suplían la medida de mi necesidad. En todo me guardé de ser una carga para vosotros, y seguiré haciéndolo.
10 The truth of Christ is in me, because this boasting shall not be stopped in regard to me in the regions of Achaia;
Como la verdad de Cristo está en mí, nadie me impedirá este alarde en las regiones de Acaya.
11 wherefore? because I do not love you? God hath known!
¿Por qué? ¿Porque no os amo? Dios lo sabe.
12 and what I do, I also will do, that I may cut off the occasion of those wishing an occasion, that in that which they boast they may be found according as we also;
Pero lo que hago, lo seguiré haciendo, para cortar la oportunidad a los que desean una oportunidad, para que en la que se jactan, sean reconocidos como nosotros.
13 for those such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ,
Porque tales hombres son falsos apóstoles, obreros engañosos, que se hacen pasar por apóstoles de Cristo.
14 and no wonder — for even the Adversary doth transform himself into a messenger of light;
Y no es de extrañar, porque hasta Satanás se hace pasar por ángel de luz.
15 no great thing, then, if also his ministrants do transform themselves as ministrants of righteousness — whose end shall be according to their works.
No es gran cosa, pues, que sus siervos se hagan pasar por siervos de la justicia, cuyo fin será conforme a sus obras.
16 Again I say, may no one think me to be a fool; and if otherwise, even as a fool receive me, that I also a little may boast.
Vuelvo a decir: que nadie me tenga por necio. Pero si es así, recibidme como necio, para que yo también me gloríe un poco.
17 That which I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this the confidence of boasting;
Lo que hablo, no lo hablo según el Señor, sino como en locura, en esta confianza de jactancia.
18 since many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast:
Viendo que muchos se jactan según la carne, yo también me jactaré.
19 for gladly do ye bear with the fools — being wise,
Porque vosotros soportáis de buen grado al necio, siendo sabio.
20 for ye bear, if any one is bringing you under bondage, if any one doth devour, if any one doth take away, if any one doth exalt himself, if any one on the face doth smite you;
Porque soportáis al hombre si os esclaviza, si os devora, si os lleva cautivos, si se enaltece o si os golpea en la cara.
21 in reference to dishonour I speak, how that we were weak, and in whatever any one is bold — in foolishness I say [it] — I also am bold.
Para mi vergüenza, hablo como si fuéramos débiles. Sin embargo, en todo lo que se atreve alguien (hablo con necedad), también yo me atrevo.
22 Hebrews are they? I also! Israelites are they? I also! seed of Abraham are they? I also!
¿Son hebreos? Yo también. ¿Son israelitas? Yo también. ¿Son descendientes de Abraham? Yo también.
23 ministrants of Christ are they? — as beside myself I speak — I more; in labours more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths many times;
¿Son siervos de Cristo? (Yo lo soy más: en trabajos más abundantes, en cárceles más abundantes, en azotes más de lo debido y en muertes más de lo debido.
24 from Jews five times forty [stripes] save one I did receive;
Cinco veces recibí de los judíos cuarenta azotes menos uno.
25 thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice was I shipwrecked, a night and a day in the deep I have passed;
Tres veces fui golpeado con varas. Una vez fui apedreado. Tres veces sufrí un naufragio. He estado una noche y un día en las profundidades.
26 journeyings many times, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from kindred, perils from nations, perils in city, perils in wilderness, perils in sea, perils among false brethren;
He estado muchas veces en viajes, en peligros de ríos, en peligros de ladrones, en peligros de mis compatriotas, en peligros de los gentiles, en peligros en la ciudad, en peligros en el desierto, en peligros en el mar, en peligros entre falsos hermanos;
27 in labouriousness and painfulness, in watchings many times, in hunger and thirst, in fastings many times, in cold and nakedness;
en trabajos y fatigas, en vigilias muchas veces, en hambre y sed, en ayunos muchas veces, en frío y desnudez.
28 apart from the things without — the crowding upon me that is daily — the care of all the assemblies.
Además de las cosas que están fuera, hay una que me presiona diariamente: la ansiedad por todas las asambleas.
29 Who is infirm, and I am not infirm? who is stumbled, and I am not fired;
¿Quién es débil, y yo no soy débil? ¿A quién se le hace tropezar, y yo no ardo de indignación?
30 if to boast it behoveth [me], of the things of my infirmity I will boast;
Si tengo que presumir, lo haré de lo que concierne a mi debilidad.
31 the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ — who is blessed to the ages — hath known that I do not lie! — (aiōn g165)
El Dios y Padre del Señor Jesucristo, el que es bendito por los siglos de los siglos, sabe que no miento. (aiōn g165)
32 In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the king was watching the city of the Damascenes, wishing to seize me,
En Damasco, el gobernador a las órdenes del rey Aretas vigilaba la ciudad de los damascenos, deseando arrestarme.
33 and through a window in a rope basket I was let down, through the wall, and fled out of his hands.
Me bajaron en una cesta por una ventana junto a la muralla, y escapé de sus manos.
