2 Chronicles 2
1 And Solomon saith to build a house for the name of Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom,
௧சாலொமோன் யெகோவாவுடைய நாமத்திற்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தையும், தனது அரசாட்சிக்கு ஒரு அரண்மனையையும் கட்டத் தீர்மானம் செய்து,
2 and Solomon numbereth seventy thousand men bearing burden, and eighty thousand men hewing in the mountain, and overseers over them — three thousand and six hundred.
௨சுமைசுமக்கிறதற்கு எழுபதாயிரம் ஆண்களையும், மலையில் மரம் வெட்டுகிறதற்கு எண்பதாயிரம் ஆண்களையும், இவர்கள்மேல் தலைவர்களாக மூவாயிரத்து அறுநூறு ஆண்களையும் கணக்கிட்டு ஏற்படுத்தினான்.
3 And Solomon sendeth unto Huram king of Tyre, saying, 'When thou hast dealt with David my father, then thou dost send to him cedars to build for him a house to dwell in;
௩தீருவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஈராமிடத்திற்கு ஆள் அனுப்பி: என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது தாம் குடியிருக்கும் அரண்மனையைத் தமக்குக் கட்டும்படிக்கு, நீர் அவருக்கு தயவுசெய்து, அவருக்குக் கேதுருமரங்களை அனுப்பினதுபோல எனக்கும் தயவு செய்யும்.
4 lo, I am building a house to the name of Jehovah my God, to sanctify [it] to Him, to make perfume before Him, perfume of spices, and a continual arrangement, and burnt-offerings at morning and at evening, at sabbaths, and at new moons, and at appointed seasons of Jehovah our God; to the age this [is] on Israel.
௪இதோ, என் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாகச் சுகந்தவர்க்கங்களின் தூபம் காட்டுகிறதற்கும், சமுகத்து அப்பங்களை எப்போதும் வைக்கிறதற்கும், காலையிலும் மாலையிலும், ஓய்வு நாட்களிலும், மாதப்பிறப்புகளிலும், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் பண்டிகைகளிலும், இஸ்ரவேல் நித்திய காலமாகச் செலுத்தவேண்டியபடி சர்வாங்கதகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்துகிறதற்கும், அவருடைய நாமத்திற்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி அதை அவருக்குப் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்ய நான் திட்டமிட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
5 'And the house that I am building [is] great, for greater [is] our God than all gods;
௫எங்கள் தேவன் அனைத்து தெய்வங்களையும்விட பெரியவர்; ஆகையால் நான் கட்டப்போகிற ஆலயம் பெரியதாயிருக்கும்.
6 and who doth retain strength to build to Him a house, for the heavens, even the heavens of the heavens, do not contain Him? and who [am] I that I do build to Him a house, except to make perfume before Him?
௬வானங்களும், வானாதிவானங்களும், அவருக்குப் போதாமலிருக்கும்போது அவருக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்ட வல்லவன் யார்? அவர் சந்நிதியில் தூபங்காட்டுகிறதற்கே அல்லாமல், வேறு காரணத்திற்காக அவருக்கு ஆலயம் கட்டுகிறதற்கு நான் எம்மாத்திரம்?
7 'And now, send to me a wise man to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and knowing to grave gravings with the wise men who [are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father prepared;
௭இப்போதும் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது குறித்தவர்களும், என்னிடத்தில் யூதாவிலும் எருசலேமிலும் இருக்கிறவர்களுமாகிய நிபுணர்களோடு, பொன்னிலும், வெள்ளியிலும், வெண்கலத்திலும், இரும்பிலும், இரத்தாம்பர நூலிலும், சிவப்பு நூலிலும், இளநீல நூலிலும் வேலைசெய்வதில் நிபுணனும், கொத்துவேலை செய்யத்தெரிந்த ஒரு மனிதனை என்னிடத்திற்கு அனுப்பும்.
8 and send to me cedar-trees, firs, and algums from Lebanon, for I have known that thy servants know to cut down trees of Lebanon, and lo, my servants [are] with thy servants,
௮லீபனோனிலிருந்து கேதுரு மரங்களையும், தேவதாரு மரங்களையும், வாசனை மரங்களையும் எனக்கு அனுப்பும்; லீபனோனின் மரங்களை வெட்ட உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரர்கள் பழகினவர்களென்று எனக்குத் தெரியும்; எனக்கு மரங்களைத் திரளாக ஆயத்தப்படுத்த என் வேலைக்காரர்கள் உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரர்களோடு இருப்பார்கள்.
9 even to prepare for me trees in abundance, for the house that I am building [is] great and wonderful.
௯நான் கட்டப்போகிற ஆலயம் பெரியதும் ஆச்சரியப்படத்தக்கதுமாயிருக்கும்.
10 'And lo, to hewers, to those cutting the trees, I have given beaten wheat to thy servants, cors twenty thousand, and barley, cors twenty thousand, and wine, baths twenty thousand, and oil, baths twenty thousand.'
௧0அந்த மரங்களை வெட்டுகிற உம்முடைய வேலைக்காரர்களுக்கு இருபதாயிரம் மரக்கால் கோதுமை அரிசியையும், இருபதாயிரம் மரக்கால் வாற்கோதுமையையும், இருபதாயிரம் குடம் திராட்சைரசத்தையும், இருபதாயிரம் குடம் எண்ணெயையும் கொடுப்பேன் என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினான்.
11 And Huram king of Tyre saith in writing, and sendeth unto Solomon: 'In the love of Jehovah to His people He hath given thee king over them.'
௧௧அப்பொழுது தீருவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஈராம் சாலொமோனுக்கு மறுமொழியாக: யெகோவா தம்முடைய மக்களை சிநேகித்ததால், உம்மை அவர்கள்மேல் ராஜாவாக வைத்தார்.
12 And Huram saith, 'Blessed [is] Jehovah, God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, knowing wisdom and understanding, who doth build a house for Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom.
௧௨யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தையும், தமது அரசாட்சிக்கு ஒரு அரண்மனையையும் கட்டத்தக்க கூரிய அறிவும், புத்தியுமுடைய ஞானமுள்ள மகனை, தாவீது ராஜாவுக்குக் கொடுத்தவராகிய வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கின இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரமுண்டாவதாக.
13 'And now, I have sent a wise man having understanding, of Huram my father,
௧௩இப்போதும் ஈராம் அபி என்னும் புத்திமானாகிய நிபுணனை அனுப்புகிறேன்.
14 (son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father a man of Tyre), knowing to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stones, and in wood, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson, and to grave any graving, and to devise any device that is given to him, with thy wise men, and the wise men of my lord David thy father.
௧௪அவன் தாணின் மகள்களில் ஒரு பெண்ணின் மகன்; அவனுடைய தகப்பன் தீரு தேசத்தான்; அவன் பொன்னிலும், வெள்ளியிலும், வெண்கலத்திலும், இரும்பிலும், கற்களிலும், மரங்களிலும், இரத்தாம்பர நூலிலும், இளநீல நூலிலும் மெல்லிய நூலிலும், சிவப்பு நூலிலும் வேலை செய்யவும், சகலவிதக் கொத்துவேலை செய்யவும், என்னென்ன செய்யவேண்டுமென்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லப்படுமோ, அவைகளையெல்லாம் உம்மிடத்திலுள்ள நிபுணர்களோடும், உம்முடைய தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது என்னும் என் ஆண்டவனின் நிபுணர்களோடும் ஆலோசித்துச் செய்யவும் அறிந்தவன்.
15 'And, now, the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, as my lord said, let him send to his servants,
௧௫என் ஆண்டவன் தாம் சொன்னபடி கோதுமையையும், வாற்கோதுமையையும், எண்ணெயையும், திராட்சைரசத்தையும் தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களுக்கு அனுப்புவாராக.
16 and we — we cut trees out of Lebanon, according to all thy need, and bring them in to thee — floats by sea, to Joppa, and thou dost take them up to Jerusalem.'
௧௬நாங்கள் உமக்குத் தேவையான மரங்களையெல்லாம் லீபனோனிலே வெட்டி, அவைகளைத் தெப்பங்களாகக் கட்டி கடல் வழியாக யோப்பாவரைக்கும் கொண்டுவருவோம்; பின்பு நீர் அவைகளை எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுபோகலாம் என்று எழுதி அனுப்பினான்.
17 And Solomon numbereth all the men, the sojourners who [are] in the land of Israel, after the numbering with which David his father numbered them, and they are found a hundred and fifty thousand, and three thousand, and six hundred;
௧௭தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலிருந்த வேறு தேசத்தாரையெல்லாம் எண்ணித் தொகையிட்டதுபோல, சாலொமோனும் அவர்களை எண்ணினான்; அவர்கள் ஒருலட்சத்து ஐம்பத்துமூவாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேராக இருந்தார்கள்.
18 and he maketh of them seventy thousand burden-bearers, and eighty thousand hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers, to cause the people to work.
௧௮இவர்களில் அவன் எழுபதாயிரம்பேரை சுமைசுமக்கவும், எண்பதாயிரம்பேரை மலையில் மரம்வெட்டவும், மூவாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேரை மக்களின் வேலையை கவனிக்கும் தலைவர்களாயிருக்கவும் ஏற்படுத்தினான்.
