1 Thessalonians 5
1 And concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need of my writing to you,
Henu, kwa habari sya muda ni nyakati, ndhongo, iyelepi haja Kujo kenu kihoakela kiyandikibhwa kwa yhomo.
2 for yourselves have known thoroughly that the day of the Lord as a thief in the night doth so come,
kwa ndabha ya muenga mwayhomo mmanyili kiusahihi kujo magono gha Bwana ghihida kama mm'eji paihida pakilu.
3 for when they may say, Peace and surety, then sudden destruction doth stand by them, as the travail [doth] her who is with child, and they shall not escape;
pala pabhijoba kuye” Amani ni usalama”, ndo pauhalibifu pawihida ghafula. Ndo kawawa ukamkabha mabhu mwenye luleme. bhabhiye puka hee kwa njela yioayela.
4 and ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day may catch you as a thief;
Lakini muenga, ndhongo muyelepi mukitita hata ligono elu libhahidilai Kama mm'eji.
5 all ye are sons of light, and sons of day; we are not of night, nor of darkness,
Kwa ndabha muenga mwabhoa ni Bhana bha nuru ni bhana bha pamusi. Tete sio bhana bhapakilu au bhamkitita.
6 so, then, we may not sleep as also the others, but watch and be sober,
Elu basu, tusigoni Kama bhamana kabhigona. Bali tukeshai ni kuya makini.
7 for those sleeping, by night do sleep, and those making themselves drunk, by night are drunken,

8 and we, being of the day — let us be sober, putting on a breastplate of faith and love, and an helmet — a hope of salvation,
Kwa ndabha tete Ndo bhana bhapamusi, tuyelai makini. Tufwalai ngao ya imani ni upendo, na, kofia ya lichuma, ambayo ndo bhwokovu wa magono ghaghihida.
9 because God did not appoint us to anger, but to the acquiring of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Kwa ndabha kyala atuchaguililepi muandi kwajia ya gadhabu, bali kwakutupela bhuokovu kwa njela ya Bwana Yesu Kristu.
10 who did die for us, that whether we wake — whether we sleep — together with him we may live;
Muene ndo atufwelili ili kwa ndabha, tukayelai mihu au tugonili, tulaishi pamonga ni muene.
11 wherefore, comfort ye one another, and build ye up, one the one, as also ye do.
Kwa hiyo, mjifalijiayi ni kujibhomba yhomo kwa yhomo, kama ambafyo kammalili kuketa.
12 And we ask you, brethren, to know those labouring among you, and leading you in the Lord, and admonishing you,
Ndhongo, tukabhasoma mbhatambulai bhala bhahitumika miongoni mwa yhomo ni bhala bhabha yelae panani pa muenga kup'etela Bwana na bhabhi shauri bhala.
13 and to esteem them very abundantly in love, because of their work; be at peace among yourselves;
Tukabhasoma kabhele mbhatambulai ni kubhapela heshima kwa upendo ndabha ya mbhombho yabhi. Muyela ni amani miongoni mwa yhomo.
14 and we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the infirm, be patient unto all;
Tukabhasii, ndhongo: mubhaonyai bhabhilotalepi molimoli, mbhapelai miteema yabhakatili tamaa, mbhasaidilai bhabhayele bhayonge, muyelai mm'bhavumilivu kwa bhoa.
15 see no one evil for evil may render to any one, but always that which is good pursue ye, both to one another and to all;
Mulangai akotokuya munu yuoayola yailepa libaya kwa libaya kwa munu yuoayola. Badala yake, mfwanyai ghaghayele ni mema kwakila mmonga bhinu ni bhanu bhoa.
16 always rejoice ye;
Muhobholelai magono ghoa.
17 continually pray ye;
Musomai bila kukoma.
18 in every thing give thanks, for this [is] the will of God in Christ Jesus in regard to you.
Munshukulai kyala kwa lijambo, kwandabha agha ghoa ndo mapenzi gha kyala kwayhomo kup'etela Yesu Kristu.
19 The Spirit quench not;
Msiuyemeki Roho.
20 prophesyings despise not;
Msiudhalau bhunabii.
21 all things prove; that which is good hold fast;
Mghajalibuayi mambo ghoa. Mlikamulai laliyele liyema.
22 from all appearance of evil abstain ye;
Mjiyepusiayi kwa lalibhonekana kiuovu.
23 and the God of the peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your whole spirit, and soul, and body, be preserved unblameably in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ;
kyala wa amani abhakamilisiayi kup'etela utakatifu. Roho, nafsi ni mbhele vifunzibhwai papayehe ni mawaa kwa kuhida Bwana wayhoto Yesu Kristu.
24 stedfast is He who is calling you, who also will do [it].
Muene ya abhakutili ndo muaminifu, muene ndo wakuliketa.
25 Brethren, pray for us;
Ndhongo, mtusomelai kabhele.
26 salute all the brethren in an holy kiss;
Mbhasalimilai bhalongo bhoa kwa libusu lakitakatifu.
27 I charge you [by] the Lord, that the letter be read to all the holy brethren;
Nikabhasii kup'etela Bwana kuwa barua eye isomebhua you kwa bhalongo bhangu bhoa.
28 the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you! Amen.
Neema ya Bwana Yesu Kristu iyelai pamonga ni muenga.
