1 Thessalonians 4
1 As to the rest, then, brethren, we request you, and call upon you in the Lord Jesus, as ye did receive from us how it behoveth you to walk and to please God, that ye may abound the more,
Kamaudiananna, kakabsat, papigsaen ken guyugoyenkayo iti Apo Jesus. Kas panangawatyo kadagiti bilbilin a naggapu kadakami, maipanggep no kasano ti rumbeng a pannagnayo ken mangparagsak iti Dios, uray iti daytoy a pannagna, tapno saysayaatenyo pay.
2 for ye have known what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus,
Ta ammoyo dagiti bilbilin nga intedmi kadakayo babaen kenni Apo Jesus.
3 for this is the will of God — your sanctification; that ye abstain from the whoredom,
Ta daytoy ti pagayatan ti Dios: ti kinasantoyo—a liklikanyo ti kinaderrep,
4 that each of you know his own vessel to possess in sanctification and honour,
nga ammo ti tunggal maysa kadakayo no kasano ti panangtagikuana iti bukodna nga asawa a babai iti kinasanto ken kinadayaw.
5 not in the affection of desire, as also the nations that were not knowing God,
Saanka a mangasawa ti babai iti nainlasagan a tarigagay (a kas kadagiti Hentil a saanda nga am-ammo ti Dios).
6 that no one go beyond and defraud in the matter his brother, because an avenger [is] the Lord of all these, as also we spake before to you and testified,
Awan koma ti tao nga aglabsing ken agaramid ti biddut iti kabsatna iti daytoy a banag. Ta manangibales ti Apo kadagitoy a banbanag, a kas binallaagandakayo ken pinaneknekanmi.
7 for God did not call us on uncleanness, but in sanctification;
Ta saannatayo nga inayaban iti Dios iti kinarugit, ngem iti kinasanto.
8 he, therefore, who is despising — doth not despise man, but God, who also did give His Holy Spirit to us.
Ngarud, ti mangilaksid iti daytoy ket saan a tao ti laklaksidenna, no di ket ti Dios, a mangted iti Espiritu Santo kadakayo.
9 And concerning the brotherly love, ye have no need of [my] writing to you, for ye yourselves are God-taught to love one another,
No maipapan iti nainkabsatan nga ayat, saanyon a masapul ti siasinoman nga agsuratkadakayo, ta naisuronakayo mismo ti Dios nga ayatenyo ti tunggal maysa.
10 for ye do it also to all the brethren who [are] in all Macedonia; and we call upon you, brethren, to abound still more,
Pudno, nga ar-aramidenyo amin dagitoy para kadagiti kakabsat nga adda iti entero a Macedonia. Ngem ballakadandakayo, kakabsat, nga ad-adda pay koma nga ar-aramidenyo daytoy.
11 and to study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we did command you,
Ibalakadmi pay kadakayo a tarigagayanyo ti agbiag a sitatalna, panunotenyo ti bukodyo a trabaho, ken agtrabahokayo babaen dagiti im-imayo, a kas ti imbilinmi kadakayo.
12 that ye may walk becomingly unto those without, and may have lack of nothing.
Aramidenyo daytoy tapno magnakayo a nasayaat kas panangraemyo kadagiti adda iti ruar ti pammati ken tapno saankayonton nga agkasapulan.
13 And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, that ye may not sorrow, as also the rest who have not hope,
Saanmi a kayat a sabali ti panangawatyo, kakabsat, ti maipanggep kadagiti nakaturog, tapno saankayo nga agladingit a kas kadagiti kaaduan nga awan ti namnamada iti masakbayan.
14 for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also God those asleep through Jesus he will bring with him,
Ta no mamatitayo a natay ken nagungar ni Jesus, iti kasta, iyegto iti Dios ni Jesus a kaduana dagiti nakaturog kenkuana.
15 for this to you we say in the word of the Lord, that we who are living — who do remain over to the presence of the Lord — may not precede those asleep,
Ta iti daytoy, ibagami kadakayo babaen iti sao ti Apo, a datayo a nabbiag, a nabati iti iyuumay ti Apo, pudno a saantayonto nga unaan dagiti nakaturogen.
16 because the Lord himself, in a shout, in the voice of a chief-messenger, and in the trump of God, shall come down from heaven, and the dead in Christ shall rise first,
Ta bumabanto mismo ti Apo manipud langit. Umayto isuna a kaduana ti panagpukkaw, ti timek ti arkanghel, ken ti trumpeta ti Dios, ket umunanto nga agpangato dagiti natay kenni Cristo.
17 then we who are living, who are remaining over, together with them shall be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in air, and so always with the Lord we shall be;
Ket datayo a sibibiag, a nabati, ket maitipontayonto kadakuada ti ulep tapno sabtentayo ti Apo idiay tangatang. Iti kastoy a wagas, kankanayontayonton a kadua ti Apo.
18 so, then, comfort ye one another in these words.
Ngarud, liwliwaenyo ti tunggal maysa babaen kadagitoy a sasao.
