1 Thessalonians 2
1 For yourselves have known, brethren, our entrance in unto you, that it did not become vain,
Achalongo achinjetu, mwanya mwachinsyene nkumanyilila kuti kunjimajimila kwetu nganikuŵa kwa iyiyi peyi.
2 but having both suffered before, and having been injuriously treated (as ye have known) in Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the good news of God in much conflict,
Mpela inkuti kumanyilila, tukanaŵe kwika kukwenu twalageswe kaje ni kutukanwa ku Filipi ko. Namose kwaliji ni kutukanila kwannope, Akunnungu ŵetu ŵatukamuchisye kunlalichila Ngani Jambone jakwe pangajogopa.
3 for our exhortation [is] not out of deceit, nor out of uncleanness, nor in guile,
Utenga watukuulalichila kukwenu ngaukukulupilila unami atamuno nningwa wangalumbana atamuno ngatukusaka kunlambusya mundu jwalijose.
4 but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the good news, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who is proving our hearts,
Nambo moŵa gose tukusala mpela yakuti kutukulupilila Akunnungu pakuŵa ŵelewo paŵatukundile kuti tukuŵajilwa, ŵatupele masengo ga kulalichila Ngani Jambone ji kwa ŵandu. Nningwa wetu ngaŵa kwanonyelesya ŵandu nambo tukusaka kwanonyelesya Akunnungu, ŵakusimanyilila nganisyo sya mitima jetu.
5 for at no time did we come with speech of flattery, (as ye have known, ) nor in a pretext for covetousness, (God [is] witness!)
Akunnungu ali jwaumboni jwetu, ni ŵanyamwe mwachinsyene nkumanyilila kuti namose lyuŵa limo nganituŵa ni maloŵe ga kulikombakomba kwa ŵandu atamuno maloŵe ga kunyenga, namose kukola ipanje yenu kwa kalamuka.
6 nor seeking of men glory, neither from you nor from others, being able to be burdensome, as Christ's apostles.
Nganitusaka kulapikwa ni ŵandu atamuno ni ŵanyamwe atamuno ni ŵandu ŵane,
7 But we became gentle in your midst, as a nurse may cherish her own children,
namuno uweji tuli achinduna ŵa Kilisito, tukakombwele kunkanganichisya kuti ntujitichisye uwe. Nambo uweji twalitimaliche pasikati jenu mpela achikulu yakuti kwalela achiŵanagwe.
8 so being desirous of you, we are well-pleased to impart to you not only the good news of God, but also our own souls, because beloved ye have become to us,
Uweji twannonyele nnope mwanya namose kuŵa chile ngaŵa kwa kunnalichila Ngani Jambone ja Akunnungu pe, nambo ni kukoposya umi wetu iyoyo kwa ligongo lyenu, pakuŵa kusyene mwanya ndi ŵakunonyelwa ŵetu.
9 for ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail, for, night and day working not to be a burden upon any of you, we did preach to you the good news of God;
Achalongo achinjangu, nkukumbuchila itwatite kulaga ni kugapanganya masengo ga kulimba. Patwalalichilaga Ngani Jambone ja Akunnungu, twapanganyisye masengo muusi ni chilo kuti tukantopela atamuno jumo jwa ŵanyamwe.
10 ye [are] witnesses — God also — how kindly and righteously, and blamelessly to you who believe we became,
Ŵanyamwe ndi ŵaumboni ŵetu, ni Akunnungu nombe ali jwaumboni jwetu itwatite pakutama pasikati jenu mwanya ŵankukulupilila, twatemi yaikuti pakuŵajilwa kwa uswela ni pangali kulalatilwa.
11 even as ye have known, how each one of you, as a father his own children, we are exhorting you, and comforting, and testifying,
Nkumanyilila kuti twanjamwiche jwalijose nti atati yakuti kwapanganyichisya achiŵanagwe.
12 for your walking worthily of God, who is calling you to His own reign and glory.
Twanlimbisye ni kwatusya mitima ni kwajamuka kuti nkombole kutama kwa kwaŵajila Akunnungu ŵakummilanga kwinjila mu Umwenye ni ukulu wao.
13 Because of this also, we — we do give thanks to God continually, that, having received the word of hearing from us of God, ye accepted, not the word of man, but as it is truly, the word of God, who also doth work in you who believe;
Sooni tukwete ligongo liine lya kwatogolela Akunnungu pangaleka pakuŵa patwannyichisye Ngani Jambone ja Akunnungu, mwajipilikene ni kujipochela. Mwajipochele ngaŵa nti liloŵe lya ŵandu nambo nti liloŵe lya Akunnungu, ni isyene ni ilitite pakuŵa. Pakuŵa Akunnungu ni ŵakupanganya masengo mmitima jenu mwanya ŵankukulupilila.
14 for ye became imitators, brethren, of the assemblies of God that are in Judea in Christ Jesus, because such things ye suffered, even ye, from your own countrymen, as also they from the Jews,
Achalongo achinjangu, indu iyaakopochele mipingo ja ŵandu ŵakunkulupilila Kilisito ŵaali ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu ŵa ku Yudea, ni ŵanyamwe ŵakwe inkopochele iyoyo peyo. Pakuŵa mwanya mwalageswe ni ŵandu ŵa mu chilambo chenu ilaila mpela iŵalageswe ŵanyawo ni Ŵayahudi achinjao.
15 who did both put to death the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and did persecute us, and God they are not pleasing, and to all men [are] contrary,
Aŵala Ŵayahudi ŵangakukulupilila ni uŵammuleje Ambuje Che Yesu ni ŵakulondola ŵa Akunnungu ni kutulagasya nowe ŵakwe. Ŵandu ŵa ngakwanonyelesya Akunnungu, sooni ali ŵammagongo ŵa ŵandu wose!
16 forbidding us to speak to the nations that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always, but the anger did come upon them — to the end!
Namose ŵalinjile kutukanya kulalichila Ngani Jambone kwa ŵandu ŵangaŵa Ŵayahudi kuti akakombola kukulupuswa. Kwa kutenda yeleyo ŵajonjechesye sambi ni kugumbalichisya ngoo pachanya sambi syatesile moŵa gose. Nambo mbesi jakwe lutumbilo lwa Akunnungu lwaichilile.
17 And we, brethren, having been taken from you for the space of an hour — in presence, not in heart — did hasten the more abundantly to see your face in much desire,
Achalongo achinjetu, uwe twalekangene nomwe kwa moŵa pe, sooni kwaliji kwa ungawonegana nambo ngaŵa kwa nganisyo syetu. Kanyuma kanandi twasachile kummona sooni.
18 wherefore we wished to come unto you, (I indeed Paul, ) both once and again, and the Adversary did hinder us;
Kwa yele twasachile kunjimajimila sooni, uneji che Paolo, nalinjile kaŵilikaŵili kuti iche kukwenu, nambo Shetani ŵatulekasisye.
19 for what [is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? are not even ye before our Lord Jesus Christ in his presence?
Uli, patutujime paujo pa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu pataiche tutulilapile chichi nkati kupunda kwetu? Chitulilapilile ŵanyamwe mwachinsyene. Ŵanyamwe ni ŵandi chilolelo chetu, ni lukondwa lwetu ni ŵandi chindu mpela singwa.
20 for ye are our glory and joy.
Kusyene kwaligongo lyenu, uwe tukulilapa ni kusengwa.
