1 Peter 1
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the choice sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Petro, apostolo de Jesuo Kristo, al la elektitoj, kiuj estas el la dispelitaro, pasloĝantaj en Ponto, Galatujo, Kapadokio, Azio, kaj Bitinio,
2 according to a foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied!
laŭ la antaŭscio de Dio, la Patro, en sanktigo de la Spirito, por obeo kaj aspergo de la sango de Jesuo Kristo: Graco al vi kaj paco pligrandiĝu.
3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness did beget us again to a living hope, through the rising again of Jesus Christ out of the dead,
Benata estu la Dio kaj Patro de nia Sinjoro Jesuo Kristo, kiu laŭ Sia granda kompato nin renaskis en esperon vivan per la releviĝo de Jesuo Kristo el la mortintoj,
4 to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you,
en heredaĵon ne pereontan, ne makulotan, ne velkontan, rezervitan en la ĉielo por vi,
5 who, in the power of God are being guarded, through faith, unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time,
kiuj estas gardataj de la potenco de Dio per fido al savo preta malkaŝiĝi en la lasta tempo.
6 in which ye are glad, a little now, if it be necessary, being made to sorrow in manifold trials,
En tio vi ĝojegas, kvankam por kelka tempo, se estas necese, malĝojigite en diversaj tentoj,
7 that the proof of your faith — much more precious than of gold that is perishing, and through fire being approved — may be found to praise, and honour, and glory, in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
por ke la provado de via fido, pli multevalora ol oro, kiu pereas, kvankam per fajro provite, troviĝu efika por laŭdo kaj gloro kaj honoro en la malkaŝo de Jesuo Kristo;
8 whom, not having seen, ye love, in whom, now not seeing and believing, ye are glad with joy unspeakable and glorified,
kiun, ne vidinte, vi amas; kiun kvankam nun vi ne vidas, tamen, al li kredante, vi ĝojegas per ĝojo nedirebla kaj gloroplena;
9 receiving the end of your faith — salvation of souls;
ricevante la celon de via fido, savon de animoj.
10 concerning which salvation seek out and search out did prophets who concerning the grace toward you did prophecy,
Koncerne tiun savon esploris kaj serĉis la profetoj, kiuj profetis pri la graco venonta al vi;
11 searching in regard to what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them was manifesting, testifying beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory after these,
serĉante, kiun kaj kian tempon montris la enestanta en ili Spirito de Kristo, kiu atestis antaŭe la suferojn por Kristo kaj la sekvontajn glorojn.
12 to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they were ministering these, which now were told to you (through those who did proclaim good news to you, ) in the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, to which things messengers do desire to bend looking.
Kaj al ili malkaŝiĝis, ke ne al si mem, sed al vi, ili liveris tion, kio nun estas proklamita al vi de tiuj, kiuj predikis al vi la evangelion per la Spirito Sankta, elsendita el la ĉielo; en kiujn aferojn anĝeloj deziras enrigardi.
13 Wherefore having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly upon the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Tial, ĉirkaŭzoninte la lumbojn de via menso, estu sobraj kaj esperadu perfekte la gracon alportotan al vi en la malkaŝo de Jesuo Kristo;
14 as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance,
kiel infanoj de obeo, ne formiĝante laŭ la voluptoj, kiujn vi antaŭe havis en via nescio;
15 but according as He who did call you [is] holy, ye also, become holy in all behaviour,
sed kiel via Vokinto estas sankta, tiel vi ankaŭ fariĝu sanktaj en ĉia konduto;
16 because it hath been written, 'Become ye holy, because I am holy;'
pro tio, ke estas skribite: Vi estu sanktaj, ĉar Mi estas sankta.
17 and if on the Father ye do call, who without acceptance of persons is judging according to the work of each, in fear the time of your sojourn pass ye,
Kaj se vi vokas la Patron, kiu sen personfavorado juĝas laŭ la faro de ĉiu, vi pasigu en timo la tempon de via ĉi tiea loĝado;
18 having known that, not with corruptible things — silver or gold — were ye redeemed from your foolish behaviour delivered by fathers,
sciante, ke ne per pereemaj objektoj, oro aŭ arĝento, vi elaĉetiĝis el via vanta vivmaniero, kiun vi ricevis de viaj patroj;
19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted — Christ's —
sed per multekosta sango, kiel de ŝafido senmakula kaj sendifekta, la sango de Kristo;
20 foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and manifested in the last times because of you,
kiu estis antaŭdifinita antaŭ la fondo de la mondo, sed elmontrita en la fino de la tempoj pro vi,
21 who through him do believe in God, who did raise out of the dead, and glory to him did give, so that your faith and hope may be in God.
kiuj per li fidas Dion, kiu relevis lin el la mortintoj kaj donis al li gloron; por ke via fido kaj espero estu al Dio.
22 Your souls having purified in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to brotherly love unfeigned, out of a pure heart one another love ye earnestly,
Ĉastiginte viajn animojn, en la obeo al la vero, por sincera amo al la frataro, amu unu la alian el la koro fervore;
23 being begotten again, not out of seed corruptible, but incorruptible, through a word of God — living and remaining — to the age; (aiōn g165)
renaskite, ne el pereema semo, sed el nepereema, per la vorto de Dio, vivanta kaj restanta. (aiōn g165)
24 because all flesh [is] as grass, and all glory of man as flower of grass; wither did the grass, and the flower of it fell away,
Ĉar: Ĉiu karno estas herbo, Kaj ĉiu ĝia ĉarmo estas kiel kampa floreto. Sekiĝas herbo, velkas floreto;
