< 1 Peter 1 >

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the choice sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Peter, Jisua Khrista tîrton renga, Pathien ithang, Pontus ram, Galatia ram, Cappadocia ram, Asia ram le Bithynia ram murdia chekinchâia om ngei.
2 according to a foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied!

3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness did beget us again to a living hope, through the rising again of Jesus Christ out of the dead,
Ei Pumapa Jisua Khrista Pathien le pa chu minpâkin om rese. Ama han a moroina lien sikin thina renga Jisua Khrista kaithoiin ringna thar mi pêka, sabeina ring leh mi minsip zoi.

Sanminringna zora nûktaka inlang ranga a darchiena om hah man rangin taksônna sika Pathien sinthotheinân dar nin ni.
6 in which ye are glad, a little now, if it be necessary, being made to sorrow in manifold trials,
Masikin râiminsân roi, atûna hin dûk tamtak nin tuong sikin inngûiin la om khom ungla.
7 that the proof of your faith — much more precious than of gold that is perishing, and through fire being approved — may be found to praise, and honour, and glory, in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Nin taksônna adik mo itia nangni minthâr hah an khîn tak ani. Asiet thei rângkachak luo mana meia an minthâr ngâia, nin taksônna rângkachak nêka lut uol ok vang chu asôi theina rangin minsinin ai om rang ani. Hanchu Jisua Khrista ânlâr nikhuo han minpâkna, roiinpuina le chôiminsângna man nin tih.
8 whom, not having seen, ye love, in whom, now not seeing and believing, ye are glad with joy unspeakable and glorified,
Ama hah la mu tet ngâi no khom ungla nin lungkhama, atûn la mu no khom ungla nin iema, masikin râisâna misîr zoiloi roiinpui takin nin sip ngâi ani,
9 receiving the end of your faith — salvation of souls;
asikchu nin ratha ngei sannminringna nin mana, mahah ama nin taksônna abitak chu ani.
10 concerning which salvation seek out and search out did prophets who concerning the grace toward you did prophecy,
Ma sanminringna hah dêipungeiin asadimin an roka an phuola, ma neinunpêk Pathien'n nangni ai pêk rang hah an lei phuong sai ani.
11 searching in regard to what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ that was in them was manifesting, testifying beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory after these,
Anni han kho zora mo ai tung rang le i-angin mo ai tung rang iti an zong ngâia. An sûnga Khrista Ratha a om han, Khrista tuong rang tie le roiinpuia a om rang hah chongphuongna an lei dôn ngâi ani.
12 to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they were ministering these, which now were told to you (through those who did proclaim good news to you, ) in the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, to which things messengers do desire to bend looking.
Ma dêipungei kôma han Pathien'n, an sin hah anni inlâpna rang ni loiin, nangni ranga an isin ani iti a min riet zoi. Ha chong hah Ratha Inthieng sinthotheina invân renga thangthei juongtîr, atûna nin iriet Thurchi Sa nangni misîr pe ngei hih an ni. Ma neinunngei hah vântîrtonngei luo khomin riet an nuom ngâi ani.
13 Wherefore having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly upon the grace that is being brought to you in the revelation of Jesus Christ,
Masikin nin mindonna hah sintho ranga inthoksaiin inningchienin om roi. Khrista a juong inlâr tika satvurna nangni pêk rang hah sabei phar roi.
14 as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance,
Pathien chong jôm ungla, male ite rietloia nin om lâia nin ôina ngei han nin ringnunngei ajêk rangin inphal no roi.
15 but according as He who did call you [is] holy, ye also, become holy in all behaviour,
Manêkin, nangni koipu Pathien ânthieng ang han nin thona murdia inthieng roi.
16 because it hath been written, 'Become ye holy, because I am holy;'
Pathien lekhabu'n, “Keima kên thieng sikin inthieng roi,” ai ti ang han.
17 and if on the Father ye do call, who without acceptance of persons is judging according to the work of each, in fear the time of your sojourn pass ye,
Hanchu mi murdi an sintho dungjûia ân-angnata roijêk ngâipu Pathien kôm chubai nin thôn, O Pa, nin ti ngâiin chu rammuola nin lêng kâr chu ama rangin mân inthieng thôn om roi.
18 having known that, not with corruptible things — silver or gold — were ye redeemed from your foolish behaviour delivered by fathers,
Nin richibulngeiin nangni an pêk, nin nunchan mangmunboi renga hah, neinun asiet thei sumdâr le rângkachaka minjôk ni mak chei ti nin rieta;
19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and unspotted — Christ's —
belrite demnaboi aninônchu achâina boitêt anga, Khrista inbôlna manlutaka ratan nin nih.
20 foreknown, indeed, before the foundation of the world, and manifested in the last times because of you,
Ama hah rammuol insieng mân renga Pathien'n a lei thangsai, le hi sûn nûktak ngeia hin nangni sikin inlangin ai om ani.
21 who through him do believe in God, who did raise out of the dead, and glory to him did give, so that your faith and hope may be in God.
Ama sikin thina renga a kaithoipu le roiinpuina pêkpu Pathien hah nin iema; maleh masikin nin taksônna le nin sabeina ngei hah Pathien chunga mindetin ai om ani.
22 Your souls having purified in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to brotherly love unfeigned, out of a pure heart one another love ye earnestly,
Atûn chu chongtak nin jômna sikin nin champui iempungei lungkham tatak rangin nangni nanâkin nin inthieng zoi sikin nin mulungrîl murdi'n inkhat le inkhat inlungkham inlôm roi.
23 being begotten again, not out of seed corruptible, but incorruptible, through a word of God — living and remaining — to the age; (aiōn g165)
Athithei ni loiin, athitheiloi nulepa renga nâingei anghan, Pathien chong ring kumtuong chongbâi renga suok nôk nin nih. (aiōn g165)
24 because all flesh [is] as grass, and all glory of man as flower of grass; wither did the grass, and the flower of it fell away,
Pathien lekhabu'n: “Miriem murdi hih sûl angin an nia, an roiinpuina ngei khom rama pârngei angin an ni. Sûlngei chu athêma, male a pârngei atâka,
25 and the saying of the Lord doth remain — to the age; and this is the saying that was proclaimed good news to you. (aiōn g165)
aniatachu, Pumapa chong chu tuonsôtin aom tit ani,” ai ti anghan. Hi chong hih, Thurchi Sa nin kôma an phuong hah ani. (aiōn g165)
