< 1 Kings 19 >

1 And Ahab declareth to Jezebel all that Elijah did, and all how he slew all the prophets by the sword,
Imbaga ni Ahab kenni Jezebel dagiti amin nga inaramid ni Elias, ken no kasano a pinapatayna dagiti amin a profeta ni Baal babaen iti kampilan.
2 and Jezebel sendeth a messenger unto Elijah, saying, 'Thus doth the gods, and thus do they add, surely about this time to-morrow, I make thy life as the life of one of them.'
Ket nangibaon ni Jezebel iti mensahero kenni Elias, a kunana, “Patayendak koma dagiti dios ken ad-adda pay iti dakes nga aramidenda kaniak, no saanko nga aramiden ti biagmo a kas iti biag ti maysa kadagidiay a natay a profeta, inton bigat iti kastoy met laeng nga oras.”
3 And he feareth, and riseth, and goeth for his life, and cometh in to Beer-Sheba, that [is] Judah's, and leaveth his young man there,
Idi nangngeg ni Elias dayta, nagrubwat isuna ken naglibas tapno maisalbar ti biagna ket napan idiay Beerseba, a masakupan ti Juda, ket imbatina sadiay ti adipenna.
4 and he himself hath gone into the wilderness a day's Journey, and cometh and sitteth under a certain retem-tree, and desireth his soul to die, and saith, 'Enough, now, O Jehovah, take my soul, for I [am] not better than my fathers.'
Ngem nagmalmalem a nagdaliasat isuna a nagturong idiay let-ang, ket nakadanon ken nagtugaw iti sirok ti kayo nga enebro. Kiniddawna a matay koman isuna, a kunana, “Saanakon a makaibtur, Yahweh, alaemon ti biagko, ta saanak a nasaysayaat ngem kadagiti natayen a kapuonak.”
5 And he lieth down and sleepeth under a certain retem-tree, and lo, a messenger cometh against him, and saith to him, 'Rise, eat;'
Nagidda ngarud ken naturog isuna iti sirok ti kayo nga enebro; iti saan a ninamnama, maysa nga anghel iti nangsagid kenkuana ket kinunana, “Bumangonka ket manganka.”
6 and he looketh attentively, and lo, at his bolster a cake [baken on] burning stones, and a dish of water, and he eateth, and drinketh, and turneth, and lieth down.
Kimmita ni Elias, ket iti uloananna adda tinapay a nailuto kadagiti beggang ken sanga-karamba a danum. Isu a nangan ken imminon isuna ket nagidda manen.
7 And the messenger of Jehovah turneth back a second time, and cometh against him, and saith, 'Rise, eat, for the way is too great for thee;'
Immay manen ti anghel ni Yahweh iti maikadua a gundaway ket sinagidna isuna ket kinunana, “Bumangonka ket manganka, gapu ta narigatto unay ti panagdaliasatmo.”
8 and he riseth, and eateth, and drinketh, and goeth in the power of that food forty days and forty nights, unto the mount of God — Horeb.
Isu a bimmangon isuna, nangan ken imminom, ket nagdaliasat isuna a nagturong idiay Horeb a bantay ti Dios, iti uppat a pulo nga aldaw ken uppat a pulo a rabii babaen iti pigsa nga impaay dayta a taraon.
9 And he cometh in there, unto the cave, and lodgeth there, and lo, the word of Jehovah [is] unto him, and saith to him, 'What — to thee, here, Elijah?'
Napan isuna iti maysa a rukib sadiay ken nagtalinaed iti daytoy. Ket immay ti sao ni Yahweh kenkuana ket kinunana, “Ania ti ar-aramidem ditoy, Elias?”
10 And he saith, 'I have been very zealous for Jehovah, God of Hosts, for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant — Thine altars they have thrown down, and Thy prophets they have slain by the sword, and I am left, I, by myself, and they seek my life — to take it.'
Insungbat ni Elias, “Impasnekko ti nagserbi kenni Yahweh a Dios a mannakabalin amin, ta tinallikudan dagiti tattao ti Israel ti tulagmo, dinadaelda dagiti altarmo, ket pinatayda dagiti profetam babaen iti kampilan. Ita, siak laengen ti nabati ket kayatda pay a pukawen ti biagko.”
11 And He saith, 'Go out, and thou hast stood in the mount before Jehovah.' And lo, Jehovah is passing by, and a wind — great and strong — is rending mountains, and shivering rocks before Jehovah: — not in the wind [is] Jehovah; and after the wind a shaking: — not in the shaking [is] Jehovah;
Insungbat ni Yahweh, “Rummuarka ket agtakderka iti bantay iti sangoanak.” Ket limmabas ni Yahweh, ket adda napigsa unay nga angin a nangdungpar kadagiti bantay ken nangburak kadagiti batbato iti sangoanan ni Yahweh, ngem awan ni Yahweh iti angin. Kalpasan ti angin, naggin-gined, ngem awan ni Yahweh iti ginggined.
12 and after the shaking a fire: — not in the fire [is] Jehovah; and after the fire a voice still small;
Kalpasan ti gingined immay ti apuy, ngem awan ni Yahweh iti apuy. Kalpasan ti apuy, adda immay a naalumamay a timek.
13 and it cometh to pass, at Elijah's hearing [it], that he wrappeth his face in his robe, and goeth out, and standeth at the opening of the cave, and lo, unto him [is] a voice, and it saith, 'What — to thee, here, Elijah?'
Idi nangngeg ni Elias ti timek, imbalkotna iti rupana ti kagayna, rimmuar, ken nagtakder iti pagserkan ti rukib. Ket immay ti timek kenkuana a nagkuna, “Ania ti ar-aramidem ditoy, Elias?
14 And he saith, 'I have been very zealous for Jehovah, God of Hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant, Thine altars they have thrown down, and Thy prophets they have slain by the sword, and I am left, I, by myself, and they seek my life — to take it.'
Insungbat ni Elias, “Impasnekko ti nagserbi kenni Yahweh a Dios a mannakabalin amin, gapu ta tinallikudan dagiti tattao ti Israel ti tulagmo, dinadaelda dagiti altarmo, ket pinapatayda dagiti profetam babaen iti kampilan. Ita, siak laengen ti nabati ket kayatda met a pukawen ti biagko.”
15 And Jehovah saith unto him, 'Go turn back on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus, and thou hast gone in, and anointed Hazael for king over Aram,
Ket kinuna ni Yahweh kenkuana, “Agsublika ket mapanka iti let-ang ti Damasco, ket inton makasangpetka pulotamto ni Hazael nga agbalin nga ari ti Aram,
16 and Jehu son of Nimshi thou dost anoint for king over Israel, and Elisha son of Shaphat, of Abel-Meholah, thou dost anoint for prophet in thy stead.
ket pulotamto ni Jehu nga anak ni Nimshi nga agbalin nga ari ti Israel, ket pulotamto ni Eliseo nga anak ni Safat a taga-Abel Mehola nga agbalin a profeta a sumukat kenka.
17 'And it hath been, him who is escaped from the sword of Hazael, put to death doth Jehu, and him who is escaped from the sword of Jehu put to death doth Elisha;
Ket mapasamak a papatayento ni Jehu ti siasinoman a makalasat iti kampilan ni Hazael, ken papatayento met ni Eliseo ti siasinoman a makalasat iti kampilan ni Jehu.
18 and I have left in Israel seven thousand, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that hath not kissed him.'
Ngem mangibatiak para kaniak iti pito ribu a tattao ti Israel a saan pay a nagparintumeng kenni Baal, ken saan pay a nangagek kenkuana.”
19 And he goeth thence, and findeth Elisha son of Shaphat, and he is plowing; twelve yoke [are] before him, and he [is] with the twelfth; and Elijah passeth over unto him, and casteth his robe upon him,
Pimmanaw ngarud ni Elias sadiay ket nasarakanna ni Eliseo nga anak ni Safat nga agar-arado, nga addaan kadagiti sangapulo ket dua a paris a naisangol a baka iti sangoananna. Pagar-aradona ti maika sangapulo ket dua. Immasideg ni Elias kenni Eliseo ket inkabilna ti kagayna kenkuana.
20 and he forsaketh the oxen, and runneth after Elijah, and saith, 'Let me give a kiss, I pray thee, to my father and to my mother, and I go after thee.' And he saith to him, 'Go, turn back, for what have I done to thee?'
Kalpasanna, pinanawan ni Eliseo dagiti baka ket kinamakamna ni Elias; kinunana, “Pangngaasim ta palubosannak a mangagek iti amak ken inak, kalpasanna sumurotak kenka.” Ket kinuna ni Elias kenkuana, “Agsublika, ngem panunotem ti inaramidko kenka.”
21 And he turneth back from after him, and taketh the yoke of oxen, and sacrificeth it, and with instruments of the oxen he hath boiled their flesh, and giveth to the people, and they eat, and he riseth, and goeth after Elijah, and serveth him.
Pimmanaw ngarud ni Eliseo iti ayan ni Elias ket innalana dagiti naisangol a baka, pinartina dagiti ayup, ket inlutona ti karne babaen iti kayo a sangol ti baka; ket intedna daytoy kadagiti tattao, ket nanganda. Ket nagrubuat isuna a simmurot kenni Elias, ket nagserbi kenkuana.
