< 1 Corinthians 9 >
1 Am not I an apostle? am not I free? Jesus Christ our Lord have I not seen? my work are not ye in the Lord?
Zalên mi ni mu-ung mo? Tîrton ni mu-ung mo? Ei Pumapa Jisua mu loi mo ki ni? Male nangni khom Pumapa ta ranga ki sinthona mara nimak choi mo?
2 if to others I am not an apostle — yet doubtless to you I am; for the seal of my apostleship are ye in the Lord.
Midangngeiin tîrtonin mi pom no khom rese ngeia, nangnin chu mi nin pom ngêt! Pumapa leh nin ringna ânzom zoi sikin ki tîrton indangna chu nangni hah nin ni.
3 My defence to those who examine me in this;
Mîn min makhalin chu hi anghin kên rung ngâi:
4 have we not authority to eat and to drink?
Sin ko tho theina ranga sâknêk man rangin racham ko dôn loi mo?
5 have we not authority a sister — a wife — to lead about, as also the other apostles, and the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
Tîrton dangngei le Pumapa lâibungngei le Peter ngei anghan ku khuolchaina Khristien dôngma tuong rangin racham ko dôn loi mo?
6 or only I and Barnabas, have we not authority — not to work?
Aninônchu, Barnabas le keima vai mo kin ringna ranga sinthoa invâi rang?
7 who doth serve as a soldier at his own charges at any time? who doth plant a vineyard, and of its fruit doth not eat? or who doth feed a flock, and of the milk of the flock doth not eat?
Tu râlmingei mo anninanâk thâma invâiin râl an doi ngâi? Tu chuonsinpungei mo grapebil thoa amara sâk ngâiloi? Tu belrihôlpungei mo belri pâl vâia an runutui nêk ngâiloi?
8 According to man do I speak these things? or doth not also the law say these things?
Balam khomin ma angdên han ati sikin anîngtina enminkhina hih aten dôn mu-ung ani.
9 for in the law of Moses it hath been written, 'thou shalt not muzzle an ox treading out corn;' for the oxen doth God care?
Moses balam lekhabua han, “Sechal hah bu ni minchîl lâitak han a mûr khit pe no roh,” ti ei pore. Atûn, Pathien'n sechal mo a mindon?
10 or because of us by all means doth He say [it]? yes, because of us it was written, because in hope ought the plower to plow, and he who is treading [ought] of his hope to partake in hope.
Eini ranga a misîr nimak mo? Ani, eini rang piela a miziek, âlkaipu le bu âtpu han an chang rangtum ngâituiin sin an tho rang ani.
11 If we to you the spiritual things did sow — great [is it] if we your fleshly things do reap?
Nin lâia ratha sachi kin rethea, nin kôm renga taksa neinun ngei ât unglang kamâmom rai no ni mo?
12 if others do partake of the authority over you — not we more? but we did not use this authority, but all things we bear, that we may give no hindrance to the good news of the Christ.
Midangngei luo mana hi taksa neinun ngei hih nin kôm renga chang rangin racham an neiin chu, keini vâng chu rachamneina lien uol kin dôn nimak mo? Hannirese, ha rachamneina hah mang mak me. Khrista Thurchi Sa kin chakal loina rangin jâttin kin tuong zajâm ngâi.
13 Have ye not known that those working about the things of the temple — of the temple do eat, and those waiting at the altar — with the altar are partakers?
Pathien Biekina sintho mingei han Biekin renga an sâk rang an man ngâi ti le mâichâma inbôlnangei min tungpungei khomin mâichâma neinunpêkngei han rangtum an dôn ngâi tiin nin riet minthâr ani.
14 so also did the Lord direct to those proclaiming the good news: of the good news to live.
Ma angdên han Pumapa'n Thurchisa hah a misîrpungeiin hima renga hah an sâk rangin chong a pêk ani.
15 And I have used none of these things; neither did I write these things that it may be so done in my case, for [it is] good for me rather to die, than that any one may make my glorying void;
Aniatachu, Keiman chu mangei hah inkhat luo ka mang loi ani, atûn hin khom ku chunga ma anghan nin thona ranga ki miziek ni tet mak. Tutu khom kên songna hih asênaboi chongngei an minchang nêkin chu thi ving inlang kei rangin asa uol!
16 for if I may proclaim good news, it is no glorying for me, for necessity is laid upon me, and woe is to me if I may not proclaim good news;
Thurchisa ki misîr sika ririemin insong theina dôn mu-ung. Thurchisa hih misîr ngêt ranga dânde kêng ki ni. Thurchisa hih misîr nôn lang chu kei rangin ichi omtak ani rang!
17 for if willing I do this, I have a reward; and if unwillingly — with a stewardship I have been entrusted!
Hi sin hih keima nuom thangna sika ki sin nisenla chu thalo khôk thei ki tih; hannirese, Pathien'n hi sin hih mi minkol sikin ki sintum piela bên, ki sin ani.
18 What, then, is my reward? — that proclaiming good news, without charge I shall make the good news of the Christ, not to abuse my authority in the good news;
Hanchu, kho anga thalo mo ka man rang ani zoi? Thurchi Sa rang sika ki sinthona hin ka rachamneinangei mang loia thalo boia ki sin hih thurchisa rangin zora sa ani.
19 for being free from all men, to all men I made myself servant, that the more I might gain;
Zalen mi ki ni, tute suok chu ni mu-ung; aniatachu thei dôra mi tamtak ngei ka lâklût theina rangin mi murdi suok ka chang ani.
20 and I became to the Jews as a Jew, that Jews I might gain; to those under law as under law, that those under law I might gain;
Judangei ka lâklût theina rangin Judangei lâia chu Juda angin ko om ngâi; male Moses Balam nuoia om no khom inlang, balam nuoia om ngei kôm chu ka lâklût ngei theina rangin balam nuoia om anghan ko om ngâi.
21 to those without law, as without law — (not being without law to God, but within law to Christ) — that I might gain those without law;
Ma angdên han, Jentailngei ka lâklût theina rangin Jentailngei lâia chu Jentail angin Juda balam pêntieng ko om ngâi. Ma hah Pathien balam jôm mu-ung ki tina nimaka; Khrista balam nuoia ko om tatak ani.
22 I became to the infirm as infirm, that the infirm I might gain; to all men I have become all things, that by all means I may save some.
Taksônna tom ngei ka lâklût theina rangin râtloingei lâia chu râtloi angin ko om ngâi. Masikin kho angin mo senkhat ngei luo ka sanminring theina rangin mi murdi kôm jâttin ki ni zoi.
23 And this I do because of the good news, that a fellow-partaker of it I may become;
Satvurna ka chang theina rangin mangei nâm hah Thurchisa sikin ki sin ani.
24 have ye not known that those running in a race — all indeed run, but one doth receive the prize? so run ye, that ye may obtain;
Tân insiet ngei hah anrêngin an tânna, hannirese inkhat vaiin kêng râisânman a man ngâi ti nin riet loi mo? Râisânman hah nin man theina rangin ma angtak han tân roi.
25 and every one who is striving, is in all things temperate; these, indeed, then, that a corruptible crown they may receive, but we an incorruptible;
Insietna akop ngeiin chu lam tina an indîn ngâi. Anni chu rênglukhum sietthei man rangin an insieta eini chu rênglukhum siet theiloi kumtuonga om rang man rang ei ni.
26 I, therefore, thus run, not as uncertainly, thus I fight, as not beating air;
Masikin ânjîkzatin zoina tenkung tieng ka tân ngâia; masikin kuttum leh insuk ngâipu'n min pâm loia a kuttum leh a suk ngâi angin ki ni.
27 but I chastise my body, and bring [it] into servitude, lest by any means, having preached to others — I myself may become disapproved.
Midangngei insietna taka ko koitûp suole keima chukloia ko om loina rangin, ka takpum dûk min tongin ke sep ngâi ani.
