< 1 Corinthians 4 >

1 Let a man so reckon us as officers of Christ, and stewards of the secrets of God,
Ɛsɛ sɛ mobu yɛn sɛ Kristo asomfoɔ a wɔde Onyankopɔn ahintasɛm a ɛyɛ nokorɛ no ahyɛ yɛn nsa.
2 and as to the rest, it is required in the stewards that one may be found faithful,
Adeɛ baako a wɔrehwehwɛ afiri onipa a wɔde ahintasɛm no ahyɛ ne nsa no ne sɛ, ɔbɛdi ne wura no nokorɛ.
3 and to me it is for a very little thing that by you I may be judged, or by man's day, but not even myself do I judge,
Sɛ mo anaa onipa bi bu me atɛn seesei a ɛmfa me ho. Mʼankasa nso memmu me ho atɛn.
4 for of nothing to myself have I been conscious, but not in this have I been declared right — and he who is discerning me is the Lord:
Mʼadwene mu yɛ fann, nanso ɛno nkyerɛ sɛ medi bem fitaa. Awurade nko ara na ɔbu me atɛn.
5 so, then, nothing before the time judge ye, till the Lord may come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of the darkness, and will manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then the praise shall come to each from God.
Enti, ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara bu ne yɔnko atɛn kɔsi sɛ ɛberɛ a ɛsɛ bɛba. Awurade ba mu no na wɔbɛbu atɛn a ɛtwa toɔ. Ɔbɛda deɛ ahinta wɔ sum mu no adi na wada deɛ ahinta wɔ nnipa akoma mu no nso adi. Na nkamfo a ɛsɛ sɛ onipa biara nya firi Onyankopɔn hɔ no, wɔakamfo no.
6 And these things, brethren, I did transfer to myself and to Apollos because of you, that in us ye may learn not to think above that which hath been written, that ye may not be puffed up one for one against the other,
Anuanom, mo enti mede Apolo ne me ayɛ nhwɛsoɔ, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛma mo asuasɛm a ɛka sɛ, “Di mmara pa so” no. Ɛnsɛ sɛ mo mu biara de onipa bi hoahoa ne ho na ɔbu ɔfoforɔ nso onipa teta.
7 for who doth make thee to differ? and what hast thou, that thou didst not receive? and if thou didst also receive, why dost thou glory as not having received?
8 Already ye are having been filled, already ye were rich, apart from us ye did reign, and I would also ye did reign, that we also with you may reign together,
Biribiara a mohwehwɛ no, mo nsa aka dada! Moyɛ adefoɔ dada. Moayeyɛ ahemfo, nanso yɛnyɛ bi! Nokorɛm, anka mepɛ sɛ moyɛ ahemfo na anka yɛn nso yɛyɛ ahemfo bɛka mo ho.
9 for I think that God did set forth us the apostles last — as appointed to death, because a spectacle we became to the world, and messengers, and men;
Ɛyɛ me sɛ yɛn asomafoɔ yi deɛ, Onyankopɔn de yɛn atwa toɔ sɛ nnipa bi a wɔabu wɔn kumfɔ wɔ badwa mu sɛ nnipa ne ewiase abɔfoɔ nyinaa nhwɛ.
10 we [are] fools because of Christ, and ye wise in Christ; we [are] ailing, and ye strong; ye glorious, and we dishonoured;
Kristo enti, yɛyɛ nkwaseafoɔ, nanso moyɛ anyansafoɔ wɔ Kristo mu. Yɛyɛ mmerɛ, nanso moyɛ den. Wɔmmu yɛn, nanso wɔbu mo.
11 unto the present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and wander about,
Ɛbɛsi saa ɛberɛ yi mu ɛkɔm ne sukɔm de yɛn. Yɛfira ntomago; wɔhwe yɛn; yɛdi atutena;
12 and labour, working with [our] own hands; being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer;
yɛyɛ adwuma a ɛyɛ den de hwɛ yɛn ho. Wɔdome yɛn a, yɛhyira; wɔhwe yɛn a yɛgyina ano.
13 being spoken evil of, we entreat; as filth of the world we did become — of all things an offscouring — till now.
Wɔya yɛn a, yɛde kasa pa bua. Yɛte sɛ ewiase yi mu wira bi a yɛnka hwee de bɛsi ɛnnɛ.
14 Not [as] putting you to shame do I write these things, but as my beloved children I do admonish,
Ɛnyɛ sɛ mepɛ sɛ megu mo anim ase enti na metwerɛɛ saa nwoma yi brɛɛ mo. Na mmom, mepɛ sɛ mekyerɛ mo ɛkwan sɛ me ara me mma a medɔ wɔn.
15 for if a myriad of child-conductors ye may have in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus, through the good news, I — I did beget you;
Na sɛ mowɔ ahwɛfoɔ ɔpedu mpo wɔ mo asetena mu wɔ Kristo mu a, mowɔ Agya baako pɛ. Na mo nkwa a ɛwɔ Kristo Yesu mu no enti, menam asɛmpa a meka kyerɛɛ mo no so abɛyɛ mo agya.
16 I call upon you, therefore, become ye followers of me;
Mesrɛ mo sɛ monsuasua me.
17 because of this I sent to you Timotheus, who is my child, beloved and faithful in the Lord, who shall remind you of my ways in Christ, according as everywhere in every assembly I teach.
Ɛnam yei so enti, meresoma Timoteo na waba mo nkyɛn. Ɔyɛ mʼankasa me dɔ ba a ɔdi me nokorɛ wɔ Awurade mu. Ɔbɛkaakae mo mʼakwan foforɔ a menam so di Kristo Yesu akyi ne nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛkyerɛ wɔ asafo biara a mekɔ mu no.
18 And as if I were not coming unto you certain were puffed up;
Mo mu bi ayɛ ahantan, susu sɛ meremmɛsra mo.
19 but I will come quickly unto you, if the Lord may will, and I will know not the word of those puffed up, but the power;
Sɛ Awurade pɛ a, ɛrenkyɛre biara mɛba mo nkyɛn na mʼankasa mabɛhwɛ dwuma a saa ahantanfoɔ yi bɛtumi adi na ɛnyɛ asɛm a wɔbɛka no.
20 for not in word is the reign of God, but in power?
Onyankopɔn Ahennie no nyɛ nsɛnkeka na ɛyɛ tumi.
21 what do ye wish? with a rod shall I come unto you, or in love, with a spirit also of meekness?
Emu deɛ ɛwɔ he na mopɛ? Memmɛbɔ mo mmaa anaa akoma a ɔdɔ wɔ mu na ɛbu adeɛ na memfa mmra mo nkyɛn?
