1 Corinthians 2
1 And I, having come unto you, brethren, came — not in superiority of discourse or wisdom — declaring to you the testimony of God,
Cuando fui a vosotros, hermanos, no fui con excelencia de palabra o de sabiduría, anunciándoos el testimonio de Dios.
2 for I decided not to know any thing among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified;
Porque me propuse no conocer nada entre vosotros, sino a Jesucristo y a éste crucificado.
3 and I, in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling, was with you;
Estuve con vosotros con debilidad, con temor y con mucho temblor.
4 and my word and my preaching was not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power —
Mi discurso y mi predicación no fueron con palabras persuasivas de sabiduría humana, sino con la demostración del Espíritu y del poder,
5 that your faith may not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
para que vuestra fe no permaneciera en la sabiduría de los hombres, sino en el poder de Dios.
6 And wisdom we speak among the perfect, and wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age — of those becoming useless, (aiōn g165)
Sin embargo, hablamos de la sabiduría de los que ya han crecido, pero una sabiduría que no es de este mundo ni de los gobernantes de este mundo que están llegando a la nada. (aiōn g165)
7 but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory, (aiōn g165)
Pero hablamos la sabiduría de Dios en un misterio, la sabiduría que ha estado oculta, que Dios preordenó antes de los mundos para nuestra gloria, (aiōn g165)
8 which no one of the rulers of this age did know, for if they had known, the Lord of the glory they would not have crucified; (aiōn g165)
que ninguno de los gobernantes de este mundo ha conocido. Porque si la hubieran conocido, no habrían crucificado al Señor de la gloria. (aiōn g165)
9 but, according as it hath been written, 'What eye did not see, and ear did not hear, and upon the heart of man came not up, what God did prepare for those loving Him — '
Pero como está escrito, “Cosas que un ojo no vio, y un oído no oyó, que no entró en el corazón del hombre, que Dios ha preparado para los que le aman”.
10 but to us did God reveal [them] through His Spirit, for the Spirit all things doth search, even the depths of God,
Pero a nosotros, Dios nos las reveló por medio del Espíritu. Porque el Espíritu escudriña todas las cosas, sí, las cosas profundas de Dios.
11 for who of men hath known the things of the man, except the spirit of the man that [is] in him? so also the things of God no one hath known, except the Spirit of God.
Porque ¿quién de los hombres conoce las cosas del hombre sino el espíritu del hombre que está en él? Así, nadie conoce las cosas de Dios sino el Espíritu de Dios.
12 And we the spirit of the world did not receive, but the Spirit that [is] of God, that we may know the things conferred by God on us,
Pero nosotros no hemos recibido el espíritu del mundo, sino el Espíritu que viene de Dios, para conocer las cosas que nos han sido dadas gratuitamente por Dios.
13 which things also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, with spiritual things spiritual things comparing,
También hablamos estas cosas, no con las palabras que enseña la sabiduría de los hombres, sino con las que enseña el Espíritu Santo, comparando las cosas espirituales con las espirituales.
14 and the natural man doth not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him they are foolishness, and he is not able to know [them], because spiritually they are discerned;
Ahora bien, el hombre natural no recibe las cosas del Espíritu de Dios, porque para él son locura, y no puede conocerlas, porque se disciernen espiritualmente.
15 and he who is spiritual, doth discern indeed all things, and he himself is by no one discerned;
Pero el que es espiritual discierne todas las cosas, y no debe ser juzgado por nadie.
16 for who did know the mind of the Lord that he shall instruct Him? and we — we have the mind of Christ.
“Porque ¿quién ha conocido la mente del Señor para instruirlo?” Pero nosotros tenemos la mente de Cristo.
