1 Chronicles 8
1 And Benjamin begat Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
Benjamini nĩwe warĩ ithe wa Bela, mũriũ wake wa irigithathi; Ashibeli aarĩ mũriũ wa keerĩ, nake Ahara wa gatatũ,
2 Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

3 And there are sons to Bela: Addar, and Gera,
Ariũ a Bela maarĩ: Adari, na Gera, na Abihudi,
4 and Abihud, and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
na Abishua, na Naamani, na Ahoa,
5 and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
na Gera, na Shefufani, na Huramu.
6 And these [are] sons of Ehud: they are heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Geba, and they remove them unto Manahath;
Aya nĩo maarĩ njiaro cia Ehudu, arĩa maarĩ atongoria a nyũmba cia arĩa maatũũraga Geba, na nĩo maathaamĩirio Manahathu:
7 and Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza and Ahihud.
Naamani, na Ahija, na Gera ũrĩa wamathaamirie, na nĩwe warĩ ithe wa Uza na Ahihudu.
8 And Shaharaim begat in the field of Moab, after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara [are] his wives.
Shaharaimu nĩaciarĩirwo ciana kũu Moabi thuutha wa gũte atumia ake Hushimu na Baara.
9 And he begetteth of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
Mũtumia wake Hodeshu akĩmũciarĩra ciana ici: Jobabu, na Zibia, na Mesha, na Malikamu,
10 and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These [are] his sons, heads of fathers.

11 And of Hushim he begat Ahitub and Elpaal.

12 And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer, (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),

14 and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

16 and Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, sons of Beriah,
na Mikaeli, na Ishipa, na Joha maarĩ ariũ a Beria.
17 and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,
Zebadia, na Meshulamu, na Hiziki, na Heberi,
18 and Ishmerai, and Jezliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal;
na Ishimerai, na Izilia, na Jababu maarĩ ariũ a Elipaali.
19 And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
Jakimu, na Zikiri, na Zabedi,
20 and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
na Elienai, na Zilethai, na Elieli,
21 and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei;
na Adaia, na Beraia, na Shimirathu maarĩ ariũ a Shimei.
22 And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
Ishipani, na Eberi, na Elieli,
23 and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
na Abidoni, na Zikiri, na Hanani,
24 and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
na Hanania, na Elamu, na Anithothija,
25 and Iphedeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak;
na Ifĩdeia, na Penueli maarĩ ariũ a Shashaka.
26 And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
Shamusherai, na Sheharia, na Athalia,
27 and Jaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham.
na Jaareshia, na Elija, na Zikiri maarĩ ariũ a Jerohamu.
28 These [are] heads of fathers, by their generations, heads; these dwelt in Jerusalem.
Aya othe maarĩ atongoria a nyũmba o na anene, ta ũrĩa maandĩkĩtwo maandĩko-inĩ ma njiarwa ciao, na maaikaraga Jerusalemu.
29 And in Gibeon hath the father of Gibeon dwelt, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;

30 and his son, the first-born, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

31 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;

32 and Mikloth begat Shimeah. And they also over-against their brethren dwelt in Jerusalem with their brethren.
na Mikilothu ũrĩa warĩ ithe wa Shimea. O nao maaikaraga hakuhĩ na andũ ao kũu Jerusalemu.
33 And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
Neri aarĩ ithe wa Kishu, nake Kishu aarĩ ithe wa Saũlũ. Saũlũ aarĩ ithe wa Jonathani
34 And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah;
Mũriũ wa Jonathani: eetagwo Meribu-Baali, na nĩwe warĩ ithe wa Mika.
35 and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:
Ariũ a Mika maarĩ: Pithoni, na Meleku, na Tarea, na Ahazu.
36 and Ahaz begat Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
Ahazu aarĩ ithe wa Jehoada, nake Jehoada aarĩ ithe wa Alemethu, na Azamavethu, na Zimuri; nake Zimuri aarĩ ithe wa Moza.
37 and Moza begat Binea, Raphah [is] his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
Moza aarĩ ithe wa Binea; nake Rafa aarĩ mũriũ wa Binea, nake Eleasa aarĩ mũriũ wa Rafa, nake Azeli aarĩ mũriũ wa Eleasa.
38 And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel.
Azeli aarĩ na ariũ atandatũ, na maya nĩmo marĩĩtwa mao: Azirikamu, na Bokeru, na Ishumaeli, na Shearia, na Obadia, na Hanani. Acio nĩo maarĩ ariũ a Azeli.
39 And sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his first-born, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
Ariũ a Esheku, mũrũ wa nyina, maarĩ: Ulamu irigithathi rĩake, na Jeushu wa keerĩ, na Elifeleti wa gatatũ.
40 And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valour, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son's sons, a hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.
