1 Chronicles 26
1 For the courses of the gatekeepers: of the Korhites [is] Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;
Por las divisiones de los porteros: de los corasitas, Meselemías hijo de Coré, de los hijos de Asaf.
2 and to Meshelemiah [are] sons, Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
Meshelemías tuvo hijos: Zacarías el primogénito, Jediael el segundo, Zebadías el tercero, Jatniel el cuarto,
3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
Elam el quinto, Johanán el sexto y Eliehoenai el séptimo.
4 And to Obed-Edom [are] sons, Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
Obed-Edom tuvo hijos: Semaías el primogénito, Jozabad el segundo, Joah el tercero, Sacar el cuarto, Natanel el quinto,
5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth, for God hath blessed him.
Ammiel el sexto, Isacar el séptimo y Peullethai el octavo; porque Dios lo bendijo.
6 And to Shemaiah his son have sons been born, who are ruling throughout the house of their father, for they [are] mighty of valour.
También le nacieron hijos a Semaías, su hijo, que gobernaban la casa de su padre; porque eran hombres valientes.
7 Sons of Shemaiah [are] Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad; his brethren [are] sons of valour, Elihu and Semachiah,
Los hijos de Semaías: Otni, Rafael, Obed y Elzabad, cuyos parientes eran hombres valientes, Eliú y Semachiah.
8 all these [are] of the sons of Obed-Edom; they, and their sons, and their brethren, men of valour with might for service, [are] sixty and two of Obed-Edom.
Todos estos fueron de los hijos de Obed-Edom con sus hijos y sus hermanos, hombres capaces en fuerza para el servicio: sesenta y dos de Obed-Edom.
9 And to Meshelemiah [are] sons and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen;
Meselemías tenía hijos y hermanos, dieciocho hombres valientes.
10 and to Hosah, of the sons of Merari, [are] sons: Shimri the head (though he was not first-born, yet his father setteth him for head),
También Hosa, de los hijos de Merari, tenía hijos: Simri, el principal (pues aunque no era el primogénito, su padre lo hizo jefe),
11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah [are] thirteen.
Hilcías, el segundo, Tebalías, el tercero, y Zacarías, el cuarto. Todos los hijos y hermanos de Hosah eran trece.
12 According to these [are] the courses of the gatekeepers; to the heads of the mighty ones [are] charges over-against their brethren, to minister in the house of Jehovah,
De éstos eran las divisiones de los porteros, de los principales, que tenían cargos como sus hermanos, para servir en la casa de Yahvé.
13 and they cause to fall lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for gate and gate.
Echaron suertes, tanto los pequeños como los grandes, según las casas de sus padres, para cada puerta.
14 And the lot falleth eastward to Shelemiah; and [for] Zechariah his son — a counsellor with understanding — they cause to fall lots, and his lot goeth out northward:
La suerte del este correspondió a Selemías. Luego echaron suertes para Zacarías, su hijo, sabio consejero, y su suerte salió hacia el norte.
15 to Obed-Edom southward, and to his sons, the house of the gatherings;
A Obed-Edom al sur; y a sus hijos el almacén.
16 to Shuppim and to Hosah to the west, with the gate Shallecheth, in the highway, the ascent, charge over-against charge;
A Suppim y a Hosa hacia el oeste, junto a la puerta de Salecet, en la calzada que sube, vigilante frente a vigilante.
17 to the east the Levites [are] six; to the north daily four, to the south daily four, and to the gatherings two by two,
Al este, seis levitas, al norte cuatro por día, al sur cuatro por día, y para el depósito dos y dos.
18 at Parbar, to the west, [are] four at the highway, two at Parbar.
Para Parbar al oeste, cuatro en la calzada y dos en Parbar.
19 These are the courses of the gatekeepers, of the sons of the Korhite, and of the sons of Merari.
Estas fueron las divisiones de los porteros: de los hijos de los corasitas y de los hijos de Merari.
20 And of the Levites, Ahijah [is] over the treasures of the house of God, even for the treasures of the holy things.
De los levitas, Ahías estaba a cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Dios y de los tesoros de las cosas consagradas.
21 Sons of Laadan: sons of the Gershonite, of Laadan, heads of the fathers of Laadan the Gershonite: Jehieli.
Los hijos de Ladán, los hijos de los gersonitas que pertenecían a Ladán, los jefes de familia que pertenecían a Ladán el gersonita: Jehieli.
22 Sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of the house of Jehovah,
Los hijos de Jehieli Zetam, y Joel su hermano, sobre los tesoros de la casa de Yahvé.
23 for the Amramite, for the Izharite, for the Hebronite, for the Uzzielite.
De los amramitas, de los izharitas, de los hebronitas y de los uzielitas:
24 And Shebuel son of Gershom, son of Moses, [is] president over the treasures.
Shebuel hijo de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era el encargado de los tesoros.
25 And his brethren, of Eliezer, [are] Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
Sus hermanos: de Eliezer, su hijo Rehabía, su hijo Jesaías, su hijo Joram, su hijo Zicri y su hijo Selomot.
26 This Shelomith and his brethren [are] over all the treasures of the holy things, that David the king, and heads of the fathers, even heads of thousands, and of hundreds, and heads of the host, sanctified;
Este Selomot y sus hermanos estaban a cargo de todos los tesoros de las cosas dedicadas, que el rey David y los jefes de las casas paternas, los capitanes de millares y de centenas, y los capitanes del ejército, habían dedicado.
27 from the battles, even from the spoil they sanctified to strengthen the house of Jehovah;
Dedicaron parte del botín ganado en las batallas para reparar la casa de Yahvé.
28 and all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah sanctified, every one sanctifying [any thing — it is] by the side of Shelomith and his brethren.
Todo lo que habían dedicado el vidente Samuel, Saúl hijo de Cis, Abner hijo de Ner y Joab hijo de Sarvia, quienquiera que hubiera dedicado algo, estaba bajo la mano de Selomot y de sus hermanos.
29 Of the Izharite, Chenaniah and his sons [are] for the outward work over Israel, for officers and for judges.
De los izharitas, Quenanías y sus hijos fueron designados para los asuntos exteriores de Israel, como oficiales y jueces.
30 Of the Hebronite, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, [are] over the inspection of Israel, beyond the Jordan westward, for all the work of Jehovah, and for the service of the king.
De los hebronitas, Hasabías y sus hermanos, mil setecientos hombres valientes, tenían la administración de Israel al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el oeste, para todos los asuntos de Yahvé y para el servicio del rey.
31 Of the Hebronite, Jerijah [is] the head, of the Hebronite, according to his generations, for the fathers — in the fortieth year of the reign of David they have been sought out, and there are found among them mighty ones of valour, in Jazer of Gilead —
De los hebronitas, Jerías era el jefe de los hebronitas, según sus generaciones por casas paternas. Fueron buscados en el año cuarenta del reinado de David, y se encontraron entre ellos hombres valientes en Jazer de Galaad.
32 and his brethren, sons of valour, two thousand and seven hundred, [are] heads of the fathers, and king David appointeth them over the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, for every matter of God and matter of the king.
Sus parientes, hombres de valor, eran dos mil setecientos, jefes de familias paternas, a quienes el rey David nombró supervisores de los rubenitas, de los gaditas y de la media tribu de los manasitas, para todo asunto relacionado con Dios y con los asuntos del rey.
