1 Chronicles 25

1 And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals, and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

ダビデと軍の長たちはまたアサフ、ヘマンおよびエドトンの子らを勤めのために分かち、琴と、立琴と、シンバルをもって預言する者にした。その勤めをなした人々の数は次のとおりである。

2 Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, sons of Asaph, [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

アサフの子たちはザックル、ヨセフ、ネタニヤ、アサレラであって、アサフの指揮のもとに王の命によって預言した者である。

3 Of Jeduthun: sons of Jeduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, Shisshah, [are] by the side of their father Jeduthun; with a harp he is prophesying, for giving of thanks and of praise to Jehovah.

エドトンについては、エドトンの子たちはゲダリヤ、ゼリ、エサヤ、ハシャビヤ、マッタテヤの六人で、琴をもって主に感謝し、かつほめたたえて預言したその父エドトンの指揮の下にあった。

4 Of Heman: sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

ヘマンについては、ヘマンの子たちはブッキヤ、マッタニヤ、ウジエル、シブエル、エレモテ、ハナニヤ、ハナニ、エリアタ、ギダルテ、ロマムテ・エゼル、ヨシベカシャ、マロテ、ホテル、マハジオテである。

5 all these [are] sons of Heman — seer of the king in the things of God — to lift up a horn; and God giveth to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

これらは皆、神がご自身の約束にしたがって高くされた王の先見者ヘマンの子たちであった。神はヘマンに男の子十四人、女の子三人を与えられた。

6 All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

これらの者は皆その父の指揮の下にあって、主の宮で歌をうたい、シンバルと立琴と琴をもって神の宮の務をした。アサフ、エドトンおよびヘマンは王の命の下にあった。

7 And their number, with their brethren — taught in the song of Jehovah, all who are intelligent — is two hundred, eighty and eight.

彼らおよび主に歌をうたうことのために訓練され、すべて熟練した兄弟たちの数は二百八十八人であった。

8 And they cause to fall lots — charge over-against [charge], as well the small as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

彼らは小なる者も、大なる者も、教師も生徒も皆ひとしくその務のためにくじを引いた。

9 And the first lot goeth out for Asaph to Joseph; [to] Gedaliah the second; he, and his brethren and his sons, twelve;

第一のくじはアサフのためにヨセフに当り、第二はゲダリヤに当った。彼とその兄弟たちおよびその子たち、合わせて十二人。

10 the third [to] Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第三はザックルに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第四はイヅリに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

12 the fifth [to] Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第五はネタニヤに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

13 the sixth [to] Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第六はブッキヤに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

14 the seventh [to] Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第七はアサレラに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

15 the eighth [to] Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第八はエサヤに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

16 the ninth [to] Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第九はマッタニヤに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

17 the tenth [to] Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve:

第十はシメイに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

18 eleventh [to] Azareel, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十一はアザリエルに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

19 the twelfth [to] Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十二はハシャビヤに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

20 at the thirteenth [to] Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十三はシュバエルに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

21 at the fourteenth [to] Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十四はマッタテヤに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

22 at the fifteenth [to] Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十五はエレモテに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

23 at the sixteenth [to] Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十六はハナニヤに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

24 at the seventeenth [to] Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十七はヨシベカシャに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

25 at the eighteenth [to] Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十八はハナニに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

26 at the nineteenth [to] Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第十九はマロテに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

27 at the twentieth [to] Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第二十はエリアタに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

28 at the one and twentieth [to] Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第二十一はホテルに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

29 at the two and twentieth [to] Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第二十二はギダルテに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

30 at the three and twentieth [to] Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

第二十三はマハジオテに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人。

31 at the four and twentieth [to] Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

第二十四はロマムテ・エゼルに当った。その子たちおよびその兄弟たち、合わせて十二人であった。
