1 Chronicles 23

1 And David is old, and satisfied with days, and causeth his son Solomon to reign over Israel,

پاش ئەوەی داود پیر بوو و بە ساڵا چوو، سلێمانی کوڕی کرد بە پاشای ئیسرائیل.

2 and gathereth all the heads of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites;

هەموو سەرکردەکانی ئیسرائیل و کاهین و لێڤییەکانی کۆکردەوە و

3 and the Levites are numbered from a son of thirty years and upward, and their number, by their polls, is of mighty men thirty and eight thousand.

ئەو لێڤییانەشی تەمەنیان سی ساڵ و بەرەو سەرەوە بوو سەرژمێری کران و کۆی ژمارەیان سی و هەشت هەزار پیاو بوو.

4 Of these to preside over the work of the house of Jehovah [are] twenty and four thousand, and officers and judges six thousand,

داود گوتی: «بیست و چوار هەزار لەمانە بۆ سەرپەرشتیکردنی کاری پەرستگای یەزدان و شەش هەزاریان کوێخا و دادوەر و

5 and four thousand gatekeepers, and four thousand giving praise to Jehovah, 'with instruments that I made for praising,' [saith David.]

چوار هەزاریان دەرگاوان و چوار هەزاری دیکەشیان بۆ ستایشکردنی یەزدان بەو ئامێرە مۆسیقییانەی کە بۆ ستایشکردن دروستم کردن.»

6 And David distributeth them into courses: Of the sons of Levi: of Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

ئینجا داود لێڤییەکانی کردە چەند بەشێک، بەپێی کوڕەکانی لێڤی: گێرشۆن و قەهات و مەراری.

7 Of the Gershonite: Laadan and Shimei.

لە گێرشۆنییەکان: لەعدان و شیمعی.

8 Sons of Laadan: the head [is] Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.

کوڕەکانی لەعدان: یەحیێلی کوڕە گەورەی بنەماڵەکە، ئینجا زێتام و یۆئێل، سێ کوڕ بوون.

9 Sons of Shimei [are] Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three; these [are] heads of the fathers of Laadan.

کوڕەکانی شیمعی: شەلۆمۆت، حەزیێل و هاران، سێ کوڕ بوون. ئەمانە گەورەی بنەماڵەکانی لەعدان بوون.

10 And sons of Shimei [are] Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah; these [are] sons of Shimei, four.

کوڕەکانی شیمعیش: یەحەت و زیزا و یەعوش و بەریعە. ئەمانە چوار کوڕەکەی شیمعی بوون.

11 And Jahath is the head, and Zizah the second, and Jeush and Beriah have not multiplied sons, and they become the house of a father by one numbering.

یەحەت کوڕە گەورەی بنەماڵەکە بوو و زیزا دووەم بوو، بەڵام یەعوش و بەریعە کوڕی زۆریان نەبوو، لەبەر ئەوە وەک یەک بنەماڵە هەژمارد کران.

12 Sons of Kohath [are] Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.

کوڕەکانی قەهات: عەمرام، یەسهار، حەبرۆن و عوزیێل، چوار کەس بوون.

13 Sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses; and Aaron is separated for his sanctifying the holy of holies, he and his sons — unto the age, to make perfume before Jehovah, to serve Him, and to bless in His name — unto the age.

کوڕەکانی عەمرام: هارون و موسا. هارون و نەوەکانی بۆ هەتاهەتایە بۆ تەرخانکردنی شتی هەرەپیرۆز هەڵبژێردران، بۆ قوربانی کردن لەبەردەم یەزدان و داواکردنی بەرەکەت بە ناوی ئەوەوە بۆ هەتاهەتایە.

14 As to Moses, the man of God, his sons are called after the tribe of Levi.

هەروەها کوڕەکانی موسای پیاوی خودا وەک بەشێک لە هۆزی لێڤی دانران.

15 Sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer.

کوڕەکانی موسا گێرشۆم و ئەلیعەزەر بوون.

16 Sons of Gershom: Shebuel the head.

نەوەکانی گێرشۆم: شوڤائێل کوڕە گەورەی بنەماڵەکە بوو.

17 And sons of Eliezer are Rehabiah the head, and Eliezer had no other sons, and the sons of Rehabiah have multiplied exceedingly.

نەوەی ئەلیعەزەریش: ئەلیعەزەر تەنها یەک کوڕی هەبوو ناوی ڕەحەڤیا بوو، بەڵام ڕەحەڤیا کوڕی زۆر بوو.

18 Sons of Izhar: Shelomith the head.

کوڕەکانی یەسهار: شەلۆمیت کوڕە گەورەی بنەماڵەکە بوو.

19 Sons of Hebron: Jeriah the head, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.

کوڕەکانی حەبرۆن: یەرییاهو کوڕە گەورەی بنەماڵەکە بوو، ئەمەریا دووەم و یەحەزیێل سێیەم و یەقەمەعام چوارەمیان بوو.

20 Sons of Uzziel: Micah the head, and Ishshiah, the second.

کوڕەکانی عوزیێل: میخا کوڕە گەورەی بنەماڵەکە بوو و ییشیا دووەمیان بوو.

21 Sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; sons of Mahli: Eleazar and Kish.

کوڕەکانی مەراری: مەحلی و موشی. کوڕەکانی مەحلی: ئەلعازار و قیش.

22 And Eleazar dieth, and he had no sons, but daughters, and sons of Kish their brethren take them.

ئەلعازار مرد و کوڕی نەبوو، تەنها کچی هەبوو، جا کوڕەکانی قیشی برای هێنایانن.

23 Sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth, three.

کوڕەکانی موشی: مەحلی، عێدەر و یەریمۆت، سێ کوڕ بوون.

24 These [are] sons of Levi, by the house of their fathers, heads of the fathers, by their appointments, in the number of names, by their polls, doing the work for the service of the house of Jehovah, from a son of twenty years and upward,

ئەمانە نەوەی لێڤی بوون بەگوێرەی بنەماڵەکانیان. گەورەی بنەماڵەکان کە بەپێی ناوەکانیان تۆمار کران و یەک بە یەک سەرژمێر کران، لە گەنجی بیست ساڵ بەرەو سەرەوە کە لە پەرستگای یەزدان خزمەتیان دەکرد،

25 for David said, 'Jehovah, God of Israel, hath given rest to His people, and He doth tabernacle in Jerusalem unto the age;'

چونکە داود گوتبووی: «لەبەر ئەوەی یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل گەلەکەی حەساندووەتەوە و بۆ هەتاهەتایە یەزدان لە ئۆرشەلیم نیشتەجێ بووە،

26 and also of the Levites, 'None [are] to bear the tabernacle and all its vessels for its service;'

ئیتر پێویست ناکات لێڤییەکان چادرەکەی پەرستن یان هیچ یەکێک لەو قاپوقاچاغانەی کە لە خزمەتی چادرەکەی پەرستن بەکاردەهێنرێت هەڵبگرن و بگوازنەوە.»

27 for by the last words of David they [took] the number of the sons of Levi from a son of twenty years and upward,

بەپێی دوایین فەرمانی داود، لێڤییەکان لە گەنجی بیست ساڵ بەرەو سەرەوە سەرژمێری کران.

28 for their station [is] at the side of the sons of Aaron, for the service of the house of Jehovah, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the cleansing of every holy thing, and the work of the service of the house of God,

لێڤییەکان بەردەستی نەوەی هارونیان دەکرد لە خزمەتکردنی پەرستگای یەزدان: بەرپرس بوون بۆ حەوشە و ژوورە لاتەنیشتەکان، بۆ پاککردنەوەی شتە پیرۆزەکان، بۆ خزمەتکردنی دیکەش لە ماڵی خودا؛

29 and for the bread of the arrangement, and for fine flour for present, and for the thin unleavened cakes, and for [the work of] the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all [liquid] measure and [solid] measure;

بەرپرسیاریێتیشیان هەبوو بۆ نانی تەرخانکراو و باشترین ئارد بۆ پێشکەشکراوی دانەوێڵە و ناسکە نانی فەتیرەی و خۆراکی سەر ساج و تێکەڵکردنی هەرچی کە تێکەڵ دەکرێت و بۆ هەموو ئەندازە و پێوانەکردنێک؛

30 and to stand, morning by morning, to give thanks, and to give praise to Jehovah, and so at evening;

هەروەها بۆ ڕاوەستان هەموو بەیانییەک بۆ سوپاسکردن و ستایشکردنی یەزدان ئێوارانیش بە هەمان شێوە؛

31 and for all the burnt-offerings — burnt-offerings to Jehovah for sabbaths, for new moons, and for appointed seasons, by number, according to the ordinance upon them continually, before Jehovah.

هەروەها بۆ هەموو سەرخستنێکی قوربانی سووتاندن لە شەممە و سەرەمانگ و جەژنەکان. پێویست بوو لێڤییەکان بەو ژمارەیە و بەو چەشنەی کە ڕێسایە لەسەریان، بە بەردەوامی لەبەردەم یەزدان خزمەت بکەن.

32 And they have kept the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the sons of Aaron, their brethren, for the service of the house of Jehovah.

ئیتر لێڤییەکان لە چادری چاوپێکەوتن و شوێنی پیرۆز پارێزگاریان دەکرد، هەروەها بەردەستی نەوەی هارونیان دەکرد لە خزمەتکردنی پەرستگای یەزدان.
