1 Chronicles 18
1 And it cometh to pass after this, that David smiteth the Philistines, and humbleth them, and taketh Gath and its small towns out of the hand of the Philistines;
Ergasii Daawit Filisxeemota moʼatee of jala isaan galfate; Gaatii fi gandoota naannoo ishee jiranis harka Filisxeemotaatii baase.
2 and he smiteth Moab, and the Moabites are servants to David, bringing a present.
Daawit Moʼaabotas ni moʼate; isaanis isa jalatti bulanii gibira fidaniif.
3 And David smiteth Hadarezer king of Zobah, at Hamath, in his going to establish his power by the river Phrat,
Kana irrattis Daawit yeroo Laga Efraaxiis bira yaadannoo ofii dhaabbachuu dhaqetti, hamma Hamaatiitti deemee Hadaadezer mooticha Zoobaa moʼate.
4 and David captureth from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen, and David destroyeth utterly all the chariots, and leaveth of them a hundred chariots [only].
Daawitis gaariiwwan waraanaa isaa kuma tokko, abbootii fardaa kuma torbaa fi loltoota lafoo kuma digdama isa irraa fudhate. Innis fardeen gaariiwwanii dhibba tokko qofa hambisee kanneen hafan hunda mogolee kukkute.
5 And Aram of Damascus cometh in to give help to Hadarezer king of Zobah, and David smiteth in Aram twenty and two thousand men,
Yeroo warri Sooriyaa kanneen Damaasqoo jiraatan Hadaadezer mooticha Zoobaa gargaaruuf dhufanittis, Daawit isaan keessaa nama kuma digdamii lama fixe.
6 and David putteth [garrisons] in Aram of Damascus, and the Aramaeans are to David for servants, bearing a present, and Jehovah giveth salvation to David whithersoever he hath gone.
Ergasiis kutaa bulchiinsa Damaasqoo kan biyya Sooriyaa keessa qubata loltootaa dhaabbate; warri Sooriyaas isa jalatti bulanii gibira fidaniif. Waaqayyos Daawitiif lafa inni dhaqe hundatti mooʼicha kenne.
7 And David taketh the shields of gold that have been on the servants of Hadarezer, and bringeth them in to Jerusalem;
Daawitis gaachana warqee kan ajajjoonni loltoota Hadaadezer harkatti qabatan fudhatee gara Yerusaalem fide.
8 and from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, hath David taken very much brass; with it hath Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.
Daawit magaalaawwan Hadaadezer jechuunis Xibihaatii fi Kuuni naasii akka malee baayʼee fudhate; Solomoon immoo Gaanii naasii, utubaawwanii fi miʼoota naasii garaa garaa naasii sana irraa hojjete.
9 And Tou king of Hamath heareth that David hath smitten the whole force of Hadarezer king of Zobah,
Tooʼuun mootiin Hamaati yommuu akka Daawit guutummaa loltoota Hadaadezer mooticha Zoobaa moʼate dhagaʼetti,
10 and he sendeth Hadoram his son unto king David, to ask of him of peace, and to bless him (because that he hath fought against Hadarezer, and smiteth him, for a man of wars with Tou had Hadarezer been, ) and all kinds of vessels, of gold, and silver, and brass;
akka inni sababii ol aantummaa Daawit Mootichi waraana keessatti Hadaadezer irratti argateetiif harka isa fuudhee dhaamsa gammachuu isaaf dabarsuuf ilma ofii Hadooraamin gara isaatti erge; Hadaadezer Tooʼuu wajjin wal waraanaa tureetii. Adooraamis kennaa gosa hundaa warqee irraa, meetii fi naasii irraa hojjetaman fideef.
11 also them hath king David sanctified to Jehovah with the silver and the gold that he hath taken from all the nations, from Edom, and from Moab, and from the sons of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
Daawit Mootichis akkuma meetii fi warqee saboota Edoom, Moʼaab, Amoonota, Filisxeemotaa fi Amaaleq hunda irraa boojiʼee ture godhe sana miʼoota kanneen illee Waaqayyoof addaan baase.
12 And Abishai son of Zeruiah hath smitten Edom in the valley of salt — eighteen thousand,
Abiishaayi ilmi Zeruuyaa Sulula Soogiddaa keessatti Edoomota kuma kudha saddeet fixe.
13 and he putteth in Edom garrisons, and all the Edomites are servants to David; and Jehovah saveth David whithersoever he hath gone.
Innis Edoom keessa qubata loltootaa dhaabbate; Edoomonni hundinuus Daawitiif ni garbooman. Waaqayyos lafa inni dhaqe hundatti Daawitiif moʼannaa ni kenne.
14 And David reigneth over all Israel, and he is doing judgment and righteousness to all his people,
Daawit guutummaa Israaʼel irratti mootii taʼee saba isaa hundaaf murtii qajeelaa fi qajeelummaadhaan hojjete.
15 and Joab son of Zeruiah [is] over the host, and Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud [is] remembrancer,
Yooʼaab ilmi Zeruuyaa hoogganaa loltootaa ture; Yehooshaafaax ilmi Ahiiluud immoo galmeessaa ture;
16 and Zadok son of Ahitub, and Abimelech son of Abiathar, [are] priests, and Shavsha [is] scribe,
Zaadoq ilmi Ahiixuubii fi Abiimelek ilmi Abiyaataar luboota turan; Shaafisaan immoo barreessaa ture;
17 and Benaiah son of Jehoiada [is] over the Cherethite and the Pelethite, and the elder sons of David [are] at the hand of the king.
Benaayaa ilmi Yehooyaadaa hoogganaa Kereetotaa fi Pheletotaa ture; ilmaan Daawit immoo mootichatti aananii qondaaltota hangafoota turan.
