< 1 Chronicles 14 >
1 And Huram king of Tyre sendeth messengers unto David, and cedar-wood, and artificers of walls, and artificers of wood, to build to him a house.
Afei, Tirohene Huram somaa abɔfo ne abo adansifo ne nnua dwumfo kɔɔ Dawid nkyɛn sɛ, wonkosi ahemfi mma no. Afei, Huram san de sida nnua a wɔbɛpae kɔe.
2 And David knoweth that Jehovah hath established him for king over Israel, because of the lifting up on high of his kingdom, for the sake of His people Israel.
Na Dawid huu sɛ Awurade de no asi Israel so hene, na esiane Israel nti, wayɛ nʼahenni kɛse.
3 And David taketh again wives in Jerusalem, and David begetteth again sons and daughters;
Afei, Dawid waree mmea bebree wɔ Yerusalem, na ɔwowoo mmabarima ne mmabea bebree.
4 and these [are] the names of the children whom he hath in Jerusalem: Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,
Dawid mmabarima a wɔwoo wɔn wɔ Yerusalem no ne Samua, Sobab, Natan ne Salomo,
5 and Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,
Yibhar, Elisua, ne Elpelet,
6 and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
Noga, Nefeg ne Yafia,
7 and Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
Elisama, Beeliada ne Elifelet.
8 And the Philistines hear that David hath been anointed for king over all Israel, and all the Philistines go up to seek David, and David heareth, and goeth out before them.

9 And the Philistines have come, and rush into the valley of Rephaim,
Na Filistifo no abedu Refaim bon asɛe hɔ pasaa.
10 and David asketh of God, saying, 'Do I go up against the Philistines — and hast Thou given them into my hand?' And Jehovah saith to him, 'Go up, and I have given them into thy hand.'
Enti Dawid bisaa Onyankopɔn se, “Mimpue na me ne Filistifo no nkɔko? Wode wɔn bɛhyɛ me nsa ana?” Awurade buae se, “Yiw, wo ne wɔn nkɔko, na mɛma woadi wɔn so nkonim.”
11 And they go up into Baal-Perazim, and David smiteth them there, and David saith, 'God hath broken up mine enemies by my hand, like the breaking up of waters;' therefore they have called the name of that place Baal-Perazim.
Enti Dawid ne nʼakofo kɔɔ Baal-Perasim kodii Filistifo no so wɔ hɔ. Dawid teɛɛ mu se, “Onyankopɔn ayɛ! Ɔnam me so ama mabɔ awura mʼatamfo mu te sɛ, nsuyiri a ano yɛ den.” Enti, wɔtoo beae hɔ din Baal-Perasim (a nkyerɛase ne sɛ “Awurade a ɔbɔ wura mu”).
12 And they leave there their gods, and David speaketh, and they are burnt with fire.
Filistifo no gyaw wɔn ahoni nyinaa hɔ nti, Dawid hyɛ ma wɔhyew ne nyinaa.
13 And the Philistines add again, and rush into the valley,
Nanso ankyɛ biara, Filistifo no san baa obon no mu bio bɛsɛee hɔ.
14 and David asketh again of God, and God saith to him, 'Do not go up after them, turn round from them, and thou hast come to them from over-against the mulberries;
Dawid bisaa Onyankopɔn nea ɔnyɛ bio. Onyankopɔn buae se, “Nkɔ tee nkɔtow nhyɛ wɔn so. Mmom, fa wɔn ho kosi wɔn akyi na montow nhyɛ wɔn so wɔ baabi a ɛbɛn baka nnua no.
15 and it cometh to pass, when thou hearest the sound of the stepping at the heads of the mulberries, then thou goest out into battle, for God hath gone out before thee to smite the camp of the Philistines.'
Na sɛ mote nnyigye bi te sɛ nnipa bi a wɔrebɔ nsra anan ase wɔ baka nnua no atifi a, montow nhyɛ wɔn so. Ɛno na ɛbɛyɛ nsɛnkyerɛnne a ɛkyerɛ sɛ, Onyankopɔn adi mo anim rekɔka Filistifo no agu.”
16 And David doth as God commanded him, and they smite the camp of the Philistines from Gibeon even unto Gazer;
Enti Dawid yɛɛ nea Onyankopɔn hyɛɛ no sɛ ɔnyɛ no, na ɔkaa Filistifo asraafo no guu fi Gibeon de kosii Geser.
17 and the name of David goeth out into all the lands, and Jehovah hath put his fear on all the nations.
Na Dawid din hyetaa baabiara, na Awurade maa aman no nyinaa suroo Dawid.
